I'm okay with animals being useless, I just like having more life in the worlds.

Scroll down and you see a lot of the plants. The ferns look really good.

IDK about them. I think I'm going to have to try them out myself to see if I like it, probably when it comes out. Can say, right now, that I like the red mushroom, and the ferns look better.

I don't remember watching wels use the pack.....

They do, wheat actually looks like wheat.

Applying the Norse Mythology texture to my Nether City world, I think it made my city look better.

Potted ferns are fuggin awesome with those textures.

Are pumpkins going to lose their face with the new textures?

My idea for pumpkins would be:
Regular Pumpkin, no face.
Click on pumpkin with shears or put a pumpkin in a crafting table with shears, get Carved Pumpkin.
Put Carved Pumpkin in crafting table with torch, get Jack o' Lantern.

I believe they are.

That'd be an amazing idea.

Been working on custom biomes lately, over halfway through my new volcano biome (It's actually been going a lot faster then I thought it would).

So much obsidian...

It doesn't affect gates/fences and signs though, only slabs and stairs.

Least, that what's what I've seen...

Uh... MineCon Earth showed water flowing through fences, and it also affects signs.

I think either Xisuma might have tested it wrong or they left some things out of the snapshot. I don't think there was corral, for example.
And it seems the consoles got squid inking to protect themselves before the Javans did so *sticks out tongue*

And the current snapshot doesn't have that, so they might've fixed it so it doesn't affect fences and signs.

Coral blocks look disappointing so far.

In context they look good, but if they're going to make an official-official texture it could be a little better.

Chunks that have already been loaded won't be affected. Unloaded chunks will include the new updates. I think. I play PS3 so.

It depends on what changes they make. Changes in world gen don't always affect older saves. Although there hasn't been any major changes that didn't apply to old maps in quite awhile.

This game is very fun, but I don't want it because I don't want to spend money online.

If you input the command /gamerule natualRegeneration false (I think that's the correct command), can golden apples heal you up just like in UHC?

Minecraft looks very interesting (I hear the reverse of the new Norwegian banknotes bear a striking resemblance to the texturing of Minecraft). However, I have never got around to actually playing it because I am more partial to polygons than blocks.

I’d imagine so, as well as potions of healing or regeneration. It says “natural” regeneration, which I assume excludes the sources I mentioned.

Rectangles are polygons. :P
