Yeah i had some brutal fights early on in that game until i hit around 5-6.

I'm level 4 on this run, so apparently there's some hope for me yet.

It's weird. I slaughtered my way through the goblin village, but the hag was a pain to deal with.

Just didn't take the mask off in time the first round and ended up getting wiped by.. myself, and didn't get whatsherface out of the cage in time the second.

I know you can cheese the whole thing, but that's no fun.

Why don't companies learn at this point? Apparently Cities Skylines 2 is released super poorly optimized. I really just need to not buy games until they're out for like a week to get a feel for how things are, but this is one I asked for for my birthday.

Is city skylines 2 any good? I saw a bunch of YouTubers play it and it looked good.

I haven't played a ton yet, but I like it so far, performance issues aside.

I've come to the conclusion that I like BG3, but I'm very bad at BG3.
The amount of times I've died in the first 8 hours I've played is embarrassing.

Don't worry, I'm sure one of the 40+ paid DLCs they'll pump out for this one as well will fix it, probably.

The amount of DLC in Cities Skylines never bothered me too much, but that might be because they're like $15 ones at max vs The Sims with 500 $40 ones.

And he wants to play Armored Core and a few others too that he had to put to the backburner for the more important ones.

Finished Shadowhearts and Astarions Story Missions in Baldurs Gate 3. Shadowheart's gave me on the toughest fights ive had in this game, lost it like four times in a row before i finally beat it, was an absolute pain in the ass. Astarions story's final battle i also had to restart a few times but it wasnt necessarily down to the difficulty of the enemies, more just trial and error of the fight mechanics.

I will admit, i save scummed this one a few times when it came to the outcome. At first i got the ending where Astarion doesnt ascend but hated my guts and fucked off out of the party permanently. Normally i would have been fine with it but i had spent a good bit of time on this fight and got more invested in his character as time went on and said nah fuck it im redoing this till he stays lol

Oh btw for anyone playing in act one, if you get the ogre war horn, use it during Act one. Turns out you cant use it in acts two and three. So ive kept it on me all this time for absolutely nothing as when i finally went to use it i couldn't lmao

In BG2 it's pretty much outright stated that Viconia had turned over a new leaf, seeing her still in the service of Shar was a bit of a slap to the canon and the half-assed explanation they gave as to why she still worships Shar didn't make it any better. She had a nice shield though.

I find myself being unable to do bad things in video games because it makes me feel too bad, so for me in all instances she gets squished. Don't want to chuck her down a chasm, she got some neat clothes you can knick.

Minthara's voice actor is awesome but im playing a good character on my first run so i murdered her. Im tempted to play an evil character to get her as a companion, but ive heard the trade offs for what you sacrifice to get a chance to recruit her is not worth it as a lot of content is lost. But im also not sure how true that is.

I've heard some similar stuff as well tbh.

What I do want to try is a "good" Dark Urge run, I've heard and seen some really cool stuff from the Durge story line, so want to give that a go.

The most popular truck simulator is finally arriving in my spiritual homeland. I'm kinda split on whether they should have done it earlier as the quality of recent map add-ons have improved… or maybe it's because they recently overhauled the visual effects.
