Aggressive Retusko worked better as a short...well, shorter short. Kind of an average office comedy at this length it is on Netflix.

I restarted Code Geass because I never finished it and it’s been awhile, so I needed to refresh my memory on everything that happened. I only got like six episodes in last time. I must say I regret putting it off as long as I did. Watching it subbed this time around.

Amanchu is getting freaking weird. Used to just be a regular SOL show. Now it's getting borderline supernatural.

Code Geass is one of those anime which I hate and love at the same time.
Hate because the plot is just... bad. Unexplained plot twists, unnecessary fanservice, just a good ol' trainwreck.

I enjoyed the plot, mainly cause I felt it concluded pretty well. I mean compared to most animes, it's one of the few who truly concluded, atleast until this season 3 is coming out. I hoping it will be enjoyable, but I'm fearing it will be awful.

Yeah, me too. I don't think there's a reason to continue it anymore. The ending was great, on par with Cowboy Bebop.

Sadly, I haven't finished Cowboy Bebop. I'm nearly done, only left it untouched for a little while to focus on Naruto, and Darling in the FRANXX. I planning on finishing it up though.

I hate Code Geass because it's usually the highest rated, most popular, and most well loved mech show on most anime sites... even though it is wholly undeserving of those titles and there are much better mech shows out there.

Oh well.

But it's fun.

Yeah, it isn't perfect, and it isn't a masterpiece, but for a lot of people it's one of the first mech shows they watched.

For me personally, I owe a lot to Code Geass. I grew up in the 90s watching the classics, like DBZ, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, and the others that were on Toonami. However, by around 2004 I had largely stopped watching anime. Most of the shows I grew up on ended and at the time I wasn't exposed to the Internet as much. There were literally no anime that I watch for a long period of time. Until I accidentally discovered Code Geass one night on Adult Swim in 2007. I was blown away, and I cite it as the reason I got back into anime. So, for me at least, Code Geass is very important.

The post credits scene in today's episode of Steins;Gate 0 hit me straight in the feels. I knew this was coming since I read the VN but it still stabbed me right in the feels. Assuming they don't royally fuck up, the next episode will twist the knife around in the wound they just left.
