Spent the past 2 or so days reading Suzuka and Kimi no Iru Machi. No, I'll will not be reading Fuuka, because fuck Seo.

Also, Kimi no Iru Machi's fantasy chapters are wonderful.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. Even the old OVAs take some time to get going. I quite like the introduction we've gotten to the main duo, and the modern one looks prettier. I will say the books are fantastic, but I'm not ready to write off the new series quite yet. I think the next few eps are going to be key to seeing how well they adapt things outside of ships shooting at each other.

I stopped watching anime because its ALWAYS the cute boys that die on screen in the most degrading ways.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. Even the old OVAs take some time to get going. I quite like the introduction we've gotten to the main duo, and the modern one looks prettier. I'm not writing the series off completely but I think the first couple episodes of the original OVA are better than the first couple episodes of the new show. In my view the best introduction to the series is Overture to a New War. It covers the first two episodes worth of content better than the OVA did and much better than the new show.

Might as well go into a couple of the new animus I watched this season.
The biggest let down is Golden Kamuy. The manga is better. The anime didn't capture quite the same feeling. Plus that Berserk 2017-esque animation of that bear was enough to tell me it's going to suck.
The greatest surprise was Sword Art Online Alternative - Gun Gale Online. I was honestly impressed. For something that has SAO in the title, it wasn't shit. Rather, it was actually kinda fun. Then again, it's not hard to do better than SAO when the bar is already so low. :^)
Might have to see what else to watch this season and finish up some of the other stuff I started watching last season. Oh, and the new LoGH is trash compared to the original.

Darling in the Franxx is still proving to be a trainwreck of an anime. I came in expecting an interesting mecha anime with a cute oni girl. I got a bunch of stupid teenagers have relationship drama with mecha action for only a handful of episodes. Unless things turn around in the last 10 episodes and actually goes somewhere, this anime is shit. Blue strawberry cunt can go kill herself, though.

The races got less exciting for me once I decided to check how closely the anime follows Special Week's racing history.

So far all the race results gave matched up perfectly. I expect this trend will continue.
