Amusing of Sunrise to pull 2 Casting Gags right off the bat. Ribbons being swapped out for Amuro? The original Char Aznable voicing Casval Rem Deikun? Now I want to see the Meijin or Luin Lee take on Anavel Gato and get crushed.

A couple of months ago I watched Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. First half was gnarly, yknow with early 1900's technology and the ZOMBIE FRICKEN APOCALYPSE. The 2nd part was lame because it turned into the walking dead human vs human bs which was laaaaaaaame

I'd have been fine with the human vs human bs if it weren't for the fact that Biba was a shitty villain and that his mere appearance caused everyone else on the cast to lose around a dozen or so IQ points each.

So how much of te supernatural and action aspects of the Monogatari sequence are meant to be interpreted as literal and how much if the supernatural adn (over the top) action is just a metaphor.

Finished watching Hellsing Ultimate.

Very awesome series along with it's original series. A great beginning of properly watching anime.

Also, Integra Hellsing is such a wasteful person with her cigars as she never finishes or sometimes even breaks them without use...

Does it really? So lame. I had that feeling in my gut, but I was ignoring it. You are probably right, I should just get the manga.

So I've been watching Centaur no Nayami. I find this show to be incredibly interesting and weird. The characters are solid, but I find the world they inhabit to be even more interesting. I'd love it if the setting became a bigger part of the narrative rather than it being vaguely mentioned here and there.

I've been watching hyper dimension Neptunia most recently. It's a pretty fun show that has some fan service, yet is also emotional in some parts. The story with Peashy had me on a total feels trip.

Nah, I think it's good as is. Too much focus on their politics would get a little annoying.
