Anyway, got back into Warfarme for a bit. Annoyed DE continues to hide shit behind Mastery Rank, which is absolute nonsense.

Considering this forum allows threads about individual games, it's probably okay to be very broad here. If it isn't than you could always make a thread for tabletop games.

decided to play some WG:EE campaign
did the "Counter-Strike" mission with no air support available because I hadn't the command stars to unlock gazelles with rocket pods
I got two rocket helos at the mission start, but they got shot down by massed MG fire from a bunch of T-55s rip rip
so I cleared out the place with massive roving fleets of Leopard 1s supported by copious amounts of Flakpanzer Gepards and some FV102 Strikers
lost 1500 points of units doing the mission for 2800 points of enemy troops killed, and it took 50 minutes

Everyone says VR, but in my personal opinion, I think that the amount of money required to get into that kind of gaming is ridiculous. On top of that, isn't it all just a gimmick? Like, when will the pzazz of low poly akimbo games wear off?

Don't get me wrong, I know that isn't a rule of thumb, obviously, but that's how I've always seen it. The PC is unique in the sense that it, as a platform, is sort of a proving grounds for gaming development. It's the pick that breaks new ground. VR is a great example of this. But PC gamers are pretty much the minority of gamers.
The problem I see is that something like VR probably won't be desirable to someone who just plays games for maybe a couple of hours after school or work. The casual. Why would they invest the massive amount of money for something like augmented reality or VR if they just want to frag for a dozen rounds on COD?
I hypothesize that video games will probably never leave the screen in a meaningful way unless something revolutionary happens and one of these new technologies sweeps the world in a cost effective package.

What issue are you experiencing, what is telling you its a driver related and have you been able to pin point a particular driver as the culprit.
if reisntalling the driver hasn't helped then there are a few other possible issues that might be involved: Software conflcit, did you install or upgrade any software on the system about the time the issue started? Borked windows install/update, possible solution is to to roll back to a system state before theissue started if you have a save availble and last but not least, Hardware issue, saddly unless you have an office full of indentical systems to swap parts with this one is very difficult to test (normal proceedure would be swap hard drives with another indentical working system and see if the fault moves or stays).

How'd you find it?
This actually reminds me that whilst I was playing Skyrim that despite 20 something years since the ES origins even now I can feel the faint echo of DnD, since apparently its origins come from. in part, a weekly DnD game.
Of course, DnD is an intentionally generic fantasy setting, but even then something about Skyrim echoed very faintly of DnD, beyond the vey obvious presence of Dungeons & Dragons.
