Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Shockingly faithful to Godzilla mythology. Like, potentially off putting to people who aren't big Godzilla fans. I mean there's some of the more outlandish stuff they didn't pull the trigger on, but they definitely put the gun on the table.

Also, about the fifth or sixth name drop I wanted to go, "We get it, the next one is Godzilla vs King Kong."

I liked it, though. Wish I watched it with a more enthusiastic crowd, I had to see it at the smaller theater later at night.

Siege of Jadotville.

It's a nice little netflix film about a time period I was woefully unaware of.

Pretty good, even if it is one long gunfight, really good if you really dont like the UN

Well, movies, but I recently binge-watched the entirety of the Terminator film series.

I decided to rank them from what I think about them. Top is the best, bottom is the worst:

    [1] Terminator 2: Judgement Day
    [2] The Terminator
    [3] Terminator Genisys
[4] Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
    [5] Terminator Salvation

It has to be said, though, that my favorite of them all is 3. Despite being the second-worst of the bunch, it's the one I actually like seeing the most, probably because it doesn't have the emotional aspects of 1 and 2 (I generally dislike drama in movies), but it's not as brainless as Salvation and Genisys.

Not bad, though the trailer gave away like the whole movie, though you could guess what was going to happen even if you had not seen the trailer, still a good watch tho

Saw Tolkien in the theater the other day. Really disappointed the movie ended so soon, it could have gone on for much longer.

Triangle (2009). Very disappointing. Starts off dull, goes to the same-old same-old (masked killer violence), then ends up making no sense at all.

Don't worry, sticking true to patterns they'll have no choice but to make a trilogy out of it.

Aladdin. It's not too bad considering how the remakes usually tend to flop, but Iago (the parrot) seriously needs more screentime. He's my favorite character.
