So, basically, Rory dies on the first episode, but the Doctor travels back to his birth and kidnaps him. He throws him into a black hole, which makes the first Rory come back and turns the second Rory into the housekeeper from Harry Potter. They land on a spaceship, but its actually the set for Jurassic Park, and then, suddenly, DALEKS!

And then cubes fall from space, sent by the Master, and kill both Rory's.

I like Kate.

She better show up later. She's bad-ass.

I wasn't all that impressed with her. They really didn't do enough with her or UNIT in this episode. She and UNIT have potential but they really did jackshit in the episode.

...Because it is?

They've been very adamant about it, and I'm glad. None of the "companions return" bits (excepting Ten's farewell) have been good since the reboot.

Nothing lasts forever in a show about time travel and horrible monsters - not even the hero.

Amy has been good, but sits definitely time for a new companion. She's a good charterer but I've had enough of the Ponds. Time for a fresh face or two. And anything is better than Donna. Also could stand to see a new Doctor.

We already met her - Oswin.

And she's fantastic.

Up until Amy/Rory, Donna was my favourite NuWho companion.

Yeah, I don't really get all the Donna hate.

Although I preferred Rose. I think she's tied with the Ponds for best companion.

Whether that was her or not is still up for debate. There has to be some kind of connection though. Can't wait to see what it will be.

She' started out a bitch and ended up a bigger bitch by the end of her run. Not a very likeable charterer.

I liked her, but she could be grating.

And Rose was just horrid.

My list goes the Ponds>Donna>Rose w/9>Martha>Rose w/10.

Donna really wasn't a bitch. She was just very independent and forthright. And, unlike Rose and Amy didn't torture any poor man.
