How many hours would you guess it took you?

Never had an issue with this before, saving stuff for the final turn. But I guess this teaches me to stop overwriting my manual saves each day.

If you miss a single step, like I feel like I did with this Luco business, you're just fucked. You to intuit exactly when to do these kinds of quest around all of the critical operations, critical missions, crisis operations, crisis missions, and other personal quests going on on any given cycle. The game feels so completely scripted, you gotta do everything at the exact correct times.
*That all being said this game has been amazing so far and any other criticisms I have are miniscule in comparison.
Also, I have no idea how the hell Huskar completed this game in only 26 hours when I just crossed my 30th hour. I don't even think I'm even close to the end of the game.

Really? Thats interesting, i saw a lot of folks online say the game usually takes about 25-30 hours. I just progressed through at a normal speed but maybe i was going faster than i thought lmao

You can probably tell where I'm at. I just effed up Luco's quest, I just completed Tel-Rea's, and I'm going into a huge plot mission. Where am I, percentage-wise?

And sure, Tel-Rea ate some damage, but nothing that a single med-pac couldn't handle. Probably the most disappointing mission in the whole game.

Was really really cool to see Second Sister though, i always liked her from Fallen Order

How the hell have our playthroughs been so dramatically different? I've reached 45 hours with no apparent end in sight. Is it a difficulty difference? Did you ever spend time waiting out the timers and building up the base?
And in the case of that specific mission that I just mentioned, I wonder if its an upgrade path diff. I slam the health upgrades every time I see them. This is my first ever proper XCOM experience and I'm daring to play on Hard*, my educated guess was that health was going to be the most valuable resource on the battlefield and I've felt vindicated throughout the whole game.
* I convinced myself that my good experience with Baldur's Gate 3 and my not completely atrocious experience with Into the Breach was close enough to justify getting into ZCOM with no punches pulled.
