TEU is right though. If you have a beef, you need to publish it there. It's not like the site owner doesn't have access, and no one will be able to actually delete it, if that's your concern. What's this all about, anyway?

I'm still not sure I understand the nature of the complaint. Jungastia, could you be more specific?

It is related to the language used by a member of the moderation team that is an offence against my person. I have raised this issue with the said party only to receive a response unrelated to my query telling me to have a nice day. As such I am requesting that the libelous claims of harassment are removed

I feel deeply saddend that my raising of a legitimate issue, in my eyes, has resulted in myself be accused of harrassment. I also feel saddened that some members of the moderation team would respond as such. I would like to point out the earlier response by Kryozerkia:

Firstly, this did not belong in the Got Issues forum, contrary to what the forum title may imply. Secondly, this is being locked as the current ongoing situation is being evaluated by the Mods. While we do this, we ask for people's patience and understanding. Your grievances are legitimate and all arguments are being considered. There are a lot of guilty parties in this and the extent of their guilt, intent and involvement is being looked at carefully with all factors being carefully and deliberately considered.

Jungastia, it may be slow but some times the Moderation process doesn't happen overnight, especially when there are a great number of threads over which an issue spans. We will consider those threads and the like.

This is a reasonable response, your response was insulting rude and defamatory. These are things I WILL NOT stand for.

As I have said to 'Dread Lady Nathicana' libelous and slanderous comments are punishable in a court of Law.

The rules that Kalasparata has broken in his posting are listed under Trolling, as I noted in my petition.

But you do realize trying to remove a user by petition is not a good idea. In my opinion, it is "hate." Hateful comments against players is not a good idea, and that is why I reported it to the holy mods. Besides, there is always the IGNORE cannon, the stickies and everything, so why hate Kalasparata when s/he can improve. Even if you don't like Kalasparata, hate is not a good idea. IGNORE the player and you will be okay. Besides, silencing the discussion is like creating a quiet riot. (not supporting the issue)

IF you were to read the post you would see that the petition was to get him/her removed or have an inquiry as to their behaviour and actions.

Hate is different all together, if i was to call him'her all sorts of name and launch a personal attack, that is hate, it is a dislike for his game style and refusal to let anyone help him.

Jungastia, you are just taking it too seriously. I agree it was too rough tone but how many players dont do it and not get warned daily? Mods are people too and they can get frustrated and thus some rough tone isn't something to be made such a big issue.

Jungastia, get a grip. It's not "libel" for a Moderator to chastise users for harassing another player, whether or not a specific user (in this case, you) is actually engaging in said harassment.

Kalasparata has yet to be judged as being in violation of site policy, and the people who incessantly deride him need to deploy the ignore function as we've been urging for months. Whether or not we remove a player is ultimately up to us, not community opinion. We're investigating some options as to how to handle the situation, but in the meantime players need not feel so self-important as to think they can tell us who stays and who doesn't.

I'm reasonably sure I speak for the rest of the moderation team when I say that this complaint is entirely without merit. If you are not harassing Kalasparata, then your actions (or more precisely, lack of actions in that regard) will speak for themselves. Furthermore, Nathicana's closing post in the thread fails to make any contextual link between 'Jungastia' and 'harassment,' and her post can (and should) be read as a statement to Kalasparata's haters where they actually exist. That you took it so personally is not our--or her--problem.

To jump on the bandwagon, if Kalasparata breaks the rules of the site frequently, he will eventually get himself removed. If you see specific instances of rule breaking feel free to report them. Otherwise, look to your own behavior. From what I've been seeing lately, unless things change, Kalasparata won't be the first one out.
