The results of History do not go away just because we want them to or because it would be inconvenient for white people. Once America becomes a majority-minority nation, expect one of two things to happen:

• The likely scenario where absolutely nothing changes because rich white Republicans still hold a disproportionate amount of power over the rest of the country, and thus continue to prevent any effort to heal America's long history of racism.
• People of Color rip the government out of the hands of white non-liberals and pass a shitton of legislation that will undo the problems caused by the history of American racism. This legislation WILL be called "Anti-White" by the rich white Republicans, and if you are still of this mindset that "Anti-White" is an actual problem when this happens, you WILL fall for it.

Notably, the person requesting the change is requesting we reclassify some of those fires as “not fires”, to give cover to people pouring gasoline on them.

Now, MW hasn’t said they will delete definition 1 and 3 as the letter effectively requests, and that’s good if they don’t kneel to the racist request made of them, but it doesn’t change the fact that the request was explicitly to remove “white people fires” from the definition of fires, to give cover to arsonists who target the “correct” homes.

Of course they wouldn't listen to the request to remove the 1st and 3rd definitions; MW are liberals, not BernieBrats.
