[Q] What exactly is a Insuffecient OP?

I've been really confused lately and haven't really found resources to help me figure out what an insuffecient OP is.

It's stopping me from making a new thread because I kinda don't want that to go on in my mod history.

(it would be so ironic if I just got called an insufficient OP here)

I saw a thread recently about fav rapper and it just had people chatting so i'm confused about what it means now...

Check out the above for NSG threads as this is where most threads tend to be locked for insufficient OPs. These keep relatively in line across the forums. OPs (opening posts) with few words, little substance, will be locked.
