Your nation is actually really interesting for this one, but at a glance it seems to be working as intended. Gives me a nice picture of some edge cases that may help me fine tune this one.

Another one where I have an unusually high score, 121.67 when most nations are 20-40. Hard to see why given our extremely high intelligence, low primitiveness, etc. Then again, we do have magic. But our unicorns would eagerly lecture you about how their magic is scientifically understandable and follows logical rules, which is totally different from superstition.

41.6 here, and that's with being #28 in education, #200 in intelligence, in the top 100% of primitiveness, top 100% for religiousness, and top 0.3% of scientific development... Something is wonky here, that's for sure.

With a score of 33.20 that might place my nation somewhere between 15% and 40% at a guess, it's interesting to see stats that my nation isn't already min-maxxed for! A quick think leads me to believe this might have some correlation with recreational drug use, but I'm not too sure given the variety of nations already posting their scores.

Some tests show a pretty tight margin between 5th and 95th (37.80 - 25.17), but others have them spread a bit further. Zhang-Bai showed as a fairly strong score at 113.36, and that's a nation that's rank 85th for Secularism. I'm glad to see this as not being tied to prayers per hour, it's a totally different thing, but that doesn't make it easier to try and think of how this works!

Interesting things to take note of are the contrasting nations. That is, either those nations that are secular but have a lot of superstitions, and the vice versa.

This nation is at 92.9 which seems very high after running a few sample tests as the average looks to be in the 20s-30s.

I have 1% badges in intelligence, secularism, and scientific advancement and I’m in the bottom 100% in religiousness, ignorance, and primitiveness, so I’m genuinely curious as to why it’s so high. What other stats are related to it? I can’t think of any other stats that would really make sense to be correlated. Education maybe but I’m also in the too 1% for that.

25.28 for me. Makes sense as we are pretty religious yet pretty scientifically advanced as well. (And for the matter, not very primitive)

A new version 2 has been added to the OP.

In version one I had tried to limit the impact of intelligence to keep it from drowning out other less common stats, but it seems I went a bit too far on that. Version 2 increased the impact of intelligence and toned down some secondary factors that were creating edge cases. I think superstition and intelligence aren't necessarily contradictory, just look at how any first responder or emergency room reacts to the word quiet, or how some programmers get about making code compile or servers run.

I have a much more average score on the new beta, not impressively high or impressively low. But some high outliers still exist - a random test just now turned up two nations over 100 (Infidel State at 165.14 and Ellabur3 at 136.28), even though it's otherwise hard to find nations that even exceed 30 (I think I spotted four of them in the line-up, out of a hundred sampled nations). Low outliers are harder to come by- I'm not seeing any results below 10 in this sample.

I think superstition and intelligence aren't necessarily contradictory, just look at how any first responder or emergency room reacts to the word quiet, or how some programmers get about making code compile or servers run.

I guess it's also a question of how serious you are. An intelligent emergency room worker worrying that something big might be about to happen if it's been quiet for a while? Possible. An emergency room worker calling national headquarters and asking for backup because there hasn't been any work to do all day? Much less likely.
