As others have pointed out, due to the shifting dates of Yom Kippur (its date is reckoned by a different calendar, not the Gregorian one), it's not going to interfere with Yom Kippur specifically for another ten (?) years. But I really appreciate that you're taking it into consideration. The best thing to do would just be to check if there's any conflict for events like these, because I think the next conflict would be with the other high holy day of Rosh Hashanah in a few years.

I feel that it is sheer coincidence since the whole thing is a parody of the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons on 26 September: I did not know about the date of Yom Kippur until now (there is only so many holidays I can remember).

Fortunately, it is not compulsory to take part in N-Day, and I think it should be the case for Z-Day 2020 (at least just for that) due to a certain pandemic that has created a rather awkward situation.

It is inconvenient for Jews. One of the senior administrators of the Potato Command is a Jew. It is regrettable and should not be repeated if it can be avoided.

Do you know what precedent you are creating? Do you know how many religious holidays are there? What if after your request is granted, people from other religions also petition to delay N-Days if they coincide with their important religious holidays? Delays after delays mean more work for Max and [v], upset plans and kill the excitement.

The key phrase in here is "important." There really aren't that many important holidays (of any kind) likely to run into our recurring events (because there's only 3). Complaining that one of those events may be moved off it's exact day once in a while is a bit overblown (and I expect tbh that April Fools will be once regardless, just for novelty).

Admin made a deliberate decision to move the start time 9 hours ahead from the usual time this year for some unexplained reason. It doesn't even fall on the 26th unless you live on the West Coast of North America or on a Pacific island West of the International Date Line.

I would love to hear their reasoning as well.

My fault: I messed up the timezone conversion. It was meant to be the same as previous years.
