Why don't I get cards anymore since like week? I keep answering issues but I don't get anything!! It's clearly rigged because some people have hundreds or thousands of cards - probably editors and moderators because it looks to me like they have some benefits - and I don't even get a single pack in days!! Fix this and give me the cards I've missed for the last few days! And yes, the settings are correct, I checked that.

I assure you that editors and moderators have no higher a chance of getting cards after issues than anyone else.

For evidence, I can point to my own deck.

The cards not falling in your favour is not evidence that the system is against you. Random means exactly that. Even when I played the card game with more focus, I didn't necessarily get cards for quite a while.

It's also worth pointing out that the original news post says the cards have no set timer.

Before you start pointing fingers of accusation, I can confirm as another player that no one, not even the admins and mods, get cards earlier than others. They mostly get whatever they want because of the tons of card-farming puppets - nations with the sole purpose of answering issues to get more banks or cards.

The random chance is also as it is, and does not work in anyone's favor. I have experienced times when I get nothing for a few issues in a row, only to get a pack of cards consecutively with every issue answered.

It is ultimately a game of chance, and despite what you might think and accuse them of, it is not in anyone's favor.

AFAIK, mods get extra deck space, but not higher probability of drawing new packs when they answer issues.

I don't think this is true.

You do get extra deck space if you have "Site Supporter" status, meaning you've made a donation to the site:

Note that if you answer issues through the API instead of the actual web site, no packs of cards are given when answering issues. This includes front ends (like apps) which use the API for connecting to the site.

And, yes, it's entirely random. The players who have large amounts of cards typically got those by using numerous nations to 'farm' for cards. That also takes them a lot of time, but the apparently feel that's worth it.

It IS true. A mod perk is that we get free Postmaster General status. It's no different than a purchased P-G, we just don't have to pay for it on our moderation nation. Note that I've bought and paid for Site Supporter status on puppets, just like any other player would need to for extra space.
