I'm sure I didn't get any issues today, and the census is the same as yesterday's I didn't notice the population, but I don't think it grew either.

For anyone wondering, I joined this website during my edgy teenage years. I made a lot of dumb, awkward posts, flip-flopped between various extreme ideologies, and just generally embarrassed myself. I denounce a sizable amount of my past posts. I am no longer active on NationStates and this nation/account is no longer used.

Apparently my ISP never updates its DNS cache, as I'm still unable to get at gameside without https, and even then I can't convince it to mark my TGs as viewed or let me post on the RMB. Is there any real hope for me beyond waiting interminably?

What have you done on your end? Have you tried "ipconfig /flushdns" in CMD prompt without the quotes?

Also try to remember whether at any point you placed the (now old) NS IP number in your hosts file. Because if you did, this is the time that would go wrong and cause the problems you're having now.

It wouldn't. I was asking because I remembered the solution Luna gave. That will reset your computer's DNS cache, which might solve the problem.

Also, is there a router between your PC and the internet? If so, restart that. It most likely has a DNS cache of its own.
