In future, as Westinor says, please give the option you picked (as well as naming the particular effect(s) you find unusual); also the date (if not today) and the nation (if answering on a puppet. Thanks!

I picked option 3 of 702: these are the stats that were out of whack: (I guess you could call them the socialist stats):
[I agree there should be drops in these, but they’re 11x bigger than the usual, and that’s too big to justify in scale to other stats]

Nuclear submarines are submarines powered by nuclear reactors. They don't necessarily have any nuclear weapons onboard. Usually they're attack submarines that are only designed for attacking other ships. (The advantage of nuclear power is that since it doesn't require air to burn and can keep going a long time without refuelling, you can stay submerged for a long time and not risk being detected when you suface.)Fauxia wrote:201.1 doesn’t install Weapons of Mass Destruction, but the option asks for funding for nuclear submarines.

Influence isn’t tied to issues. To answer your question, nations’ influence in GCRs decay over time

The OP wrote: 1) Tourism doesn't always go up when you expect it to.
Tourism is excessively dependent on the environment in the current simulation, so an issue that trades environment for additional tourism will normally result in a spurious fall in tourism.

"Freedom is slavery," observes your Minister of Plenty, while carrying out his daily physical jerks to keep himself fit. You must have had the Human Sacrifice flag from before you banned religion. It was hidden while religion was banned, but the game remembered, so as soon as you relegalized religion you got your old religion back - including its practice of human sacrifice.Disgraces wrote:So, I just got this issue while having the Atheism policy. 7. “Reparations! We’re not paying any stinkin’ reparations!” blusters Defense Minister Mack Rimera, who has turned a rather alarming shade of red. “Have you forgotten how they almost annihilated us? Yes, we definitely killed a bunch of their solders. What did they think would happen when they brought nuclear missiles to our borders? This treaty is just a slap in the face — and we’re definitely not disarming or letting in waves of immigrants. You need to walk away from the negotiating table, and hit them with sanctions for good measure. They’re our enemy forevermore.”

Oh. I just found it weird for an atheist nation to legalize sacrifices so quickly. Speaking about sacrifices, they're consentual, right?
