If there is anyone here who played Nationstates under the moniker "Big Fat Booty" around the summer of 2010, would love to reconnect.

Granted, we did not end our relationship on a great note back then, but Europeia's confrontation with you has become a point of important lore in our region and could be of tremendous historical//cultural value to chat again!

Note: There was someone who re-used the nation name Big Fat Booty earlier this year. I do not *think* this is the player who used the nation name back in 2010, but it could be! That said, if you used the nation name earlier this year and did not play Nationstates in 2010, I doubt this is you.

Would love to reconnect + go down a historic memory lane with the original Big Fat Booty. Thank you!

There are plenty of sites that could help you in your search for big fat booty, I don't know if this is the best option!

PhDre refounded this nation (Big Fat Booty) in March 2025. The original Ancient Nation is here.

To aid in your search for Booty, let me provide some additional context. Perhaps seeing all of the relevant information in one place will jiggle people's memories.

Between August 3rd and 5th 2010, Europeia found itself on the brink of war with Renaissance.

The Renaissance Ambassador to Europeia would summarize the events after the fact:

Ambassador Riczhang wrote: On August 1st we held our first elections under our current republican form of Government, and the first under our new Constitution. After a hard fight Big Fat Booty won the Presidential Elections, and Rockerika, Rodderick, Svietuva, Riczhang, and Lady Mirana were duly elected as the 5 Representatives.

The Government started off well, and Big Fat Booty nominated Riczhang for Foreign Secretary, THEChanger for Chief Justice, and Tikal and Ile Royale as Associate Justices. Though at this point she began issuing EOs whose constitutionality was in doubt. She took part in a severe disagreement with the President of Europeia, PhDre, who was a citizen of Renaissance and in several xenophobic EOs sought to ban dual citizens and relegate Ambassadors to extremely limited areas of the forums. She further planned legislation to install herself as WAD and oust Ile Royale and to ban puppets from the region.

Ultimately she came into conflict with the House which began impeachment proceedings, and was called before the Supreme Court to defend her EOs against a constitutional challenge. She declined to appear. On 6 August she went on a spamming spree, issuing no less than 25 ridiculous EOs. It attracted attention from Europeia, whose citizens her original EOs were aimed at and led to a few joke imitations.
After Big Fat Booty left, Elections were held for President once again on August 10th...

The "severe disagreement" between myself (PhDre) and Big Fat Booty was over Executive Order 02, which banned all dual citizens from Renaissance. When I protested this new law, my citizenship was stripped and some of my posts were deleted. This escalated to the point where Big Fat Booty severed Renaissance's diplomatic relationship with Europeia.

Material disclosed from 21 Tomlinson (Europeia's Private Executive forum) by President Common-Sense Politics in March 2022 allows us to see how Europeian elites reacted in real time to the crisis (and provide more background on Big Fat Booty's Executive Orders which started the affair).

Founder HEM attempted to mediate, but he was roundly rejected by President Booty. Seeking closure, HEM now calls out to the multiverse in the hope that Big Fat Booty made an impression on others as well.

President Big Fat Booty calls PhDre "DrPhe" on the Renaissance Forums - a derisive nickname for PhDre that does not resurface in NationStates until more than a decade later.

Much is lost about Big Fat Booty - who they were, why they only posted two RP threads (source1, source2), whether they still play NationStates.

What we do know:

• Founded July 8th, 2010
• They had both a National Anthem and a National Anthem for the Big Fat Booty Navy. Only one of them makes sense thematically.
• Between August 1st and August [?]th, 2010 they were the first President of Renaissance.
• According to an Ambassador, on August 5th they "[appeared] to have gone insane and spammed [Renaissance's] forums."
• Big Fat Booty has been Persona Non Grata in Europeia since August 5th 2010.
• Last visited August 18th, 2010.

That said, all my enquiries have sadly come up short except for one slap in the face and a work disciplinary into my FRA forum search history.

Thank you for bringing this important matter to our attention. I have flagged it with Max Barry, who agrees that it is imperative that NationStates once more offers a safe haven for people to enjoy the company of big fat booty.

Notwithstanding that desire, the Moderator team has expressed concern about the actions of PhDre, whose attempts to bring back big fat booty are frankly half-assed, and can only ever be considered a pale imitation of the original.

If they ever return it means that Booty got back.
