Not very professional or maybe accurate, but there were none yet so I thought that I would make one.
Note: Mother Knows Best State and Liberal/Conservative Theme states are the same as their counterparts, so I did not add them.

If you do, I would like to see it. The way that I did it was that using the 3 dimensional compass, I made the ones with the most political freedoms at the bottom. Then from left to right, the ones with the highest civil rights and lowest economies on the left, and vice versa. For ones with the same civil rights as economy(low civil rights+low economy and high civil rights+high economy for example), the one with the highest overall civil rights and economy went lower. Then I resized them a little to make them more accurate.Pencil Sharpeners 2 wrote:Condensing a 3D scale onto a 2D compass is always going to be difficult, and a few of these seem to have ended up in the wrong position. Yes, but according to the 3D political compass(linked to by the official FAQ in Help), which is what I used, it has low civil freedom, economic freedom, and political freedom, which is not right or left. This is the same for anarchy (except it is the opposite).La xinga wrote:Ihilthracna wrote:If you do, I would like to see it. Yes, but I think Psychotic D should be all the way far-right.

Psychotic Dictatorship should be in the upper left corner, not the right. Why is it the left? Because the Political Compass defines left and right as socialist and capitalist, so purely by economic values. Socialism does not always mean a government-controlled economy (market socialism exists, and various kinds of anarchism, and lots of other stuff), but the top left corner always does. A Psychotic Dictatorship has no economic freedom or private sector to speak of. Yes, this is kind of dumb and counterintuitive, but don't blame me - blame the guys who made the Political Compass. Their economic axis is broken and it de facto runs from top left (command economy) to bottom right (ancap). This is in spite of the website itself acknowledging that stateless socialism is a thing, so figure that out.

Well, for the first comment, I had to include civil rights as the opposite of the Economic scale and taken the average, or ideologies would overlap. It is not perfectly accurate, but I had to make a compromise. For the second comment, Nationstates Ideologies are weird. I am a Liberal Democratic Socialist, which should mean that I have a low economy, medium civil rights, and high political freedom, but I have above average civil rights and political freedoms, with economy the highest. This suggests that my nation is right-wing, even though there is Socialist in the ideology name, which is not as right wing.La xinga wrote:Autarkheia wrote:Looks pretty good to me.

I am a "Psychotic Dictatorship" and I have a decent amount of free market, and my high social conservatism should take me to the right, not the left.

If that is true, then I still have a relatively high economic freedom, but I meant that Democratic Socialism and Liberal Socialism both have a lower economy.Note that "economy" is different from "economic freedom." Democratic socialism (even the "liberal" kind) has restrictions on the power of capital to do whatever they can/want to exploit their workers, but that doesn't equate to a crappy economy. All else equal, the invisible hand of the welfare state keeps the money circulating, driving economic activity.
