Carnaval of the Perfections: Awards

Another announcement? Indeed we have been quite busy over here in the West. This time, it's a post about winners of the 2022 Carnaval of the Perfections, the festival we announced a while ago and that was finally closed yesterday via the annual purge. Therefore, for posterity and for people that might not have seen the awards in the server that were announced yesterday, here are the final results from this wonderful carnaval.

I would also like to again give thanks to Min-Su for designing these wonderful coins; the Event Staff for helping with event organization, server moderation and judging of entries; the performers Erinor (Seraph), Evil Mother (Icarus), and Rabbitz for their wonderful live performances; and last but not least the 123 people who joined the festival, especially those who submitted entries to any category!

Notes about the coins: the colored ones are for category winners, whereas the golden ones are for Best in Show in a given perfection. Best in Show awards were given to Art, Writing, Poetry and Film; it was decided to not have a Music one due to its impromptu nature of being added during the festival.

Statement On Continued Interregional Peace

In recent months, some regions have chosen to engage with the Feeder regions in purposeful bad faith and disparage not only those Feeders themselves, but their commitments to their allies and their respective international goals. These regions have forgotten why the Feeders stand proud and have earned the respect of the international community, and why it is not beneficial to deliberately interfere with their aims and their friends. The West Pacific, The Pacific, and The North Pacific will not tolerate the wanton disrespect and aggression that has been leveled at us and our friends. We are committed to defending our interests, our allies, ourselves, and now each other.

Effective immediately, we have issued standing orders to our militaries to the following effect: an attack on any of our regions or allies is an attack on all of us, and will be met unhesitatingly with the appropriate military force. We will coordinate strategic assets, defense intelligence, and forces as needed to ensure the continued defense of ourselves and our allies in the world.

This mutual defense agreement, titled Pax Polaris Occidens, will also be presented to the governments of each of the regions involved to formally codify it into law. Pending formalization, we will act in accordance with these standing orders and this statement.

We will not be intimidated.

The West Pacific was never antagonized by BoM, though. The only event that could be construed as such would have been the mistake of raiding Venice without understanding its geopolitical position, a situation that was rectified with haste months ago.

The North Pacific, is, as you described, in a non-aggression pact with Osiris. I don't see how BoM raiding one of their treatied allies concerns Osiris.

I’m glad to see this has been finalized. I’m honestly quite happy to see my home region be part of a broader movement to ensure that those wishing to trample on our sovereignty are summarily put in their place. Good work everyone!
