219.... was so close to setting a record of 220. This is also the longest I've ever been over 200 endorsements now.

As an update on this, I've hit 269 endorsements (72%). 269 is definitely the highest I've been and I'm not sure, but it might be the highest the sinkers have ever been. I'm not sure what the exact record is, although it is the highest since they started to record the rankings page.

Although I would love to know what the record amount of endorsements is in the sinkers if it is not the 268 hit by Funkadelia recently in Lazarus.

*roars* You're cutting around Loop and Kandarin's enormous reigns. And you're missing the point: stability isn't everything. Nobody remembers the tenures of Krulltopia, Fudgetopia, Kandarin, or Loop as periods of great activity. In all cases, their regions were in very rough shape when they finally departed.

The "Longest Serving WA Delegate" recorded on-site in each region is one of a number of reasonable reference points. Clearly, a record of continuous Delegate tenure that goes back earlier than that is also relevant for historical purposes, but in-game recognition of tenure is still a sensible and accessible metric which can be used to establish Delegate longevity, now that we nearly 8 years since that page was first introduced. It should not be disregarded.

A degree of underlying political stability is a necessary but insufficient pre-condiiton of sustainable activity. Balder has achieved both of these things. If you are saying that previous long-lived Delegacies have failed to achieve sustainable activity, then that is merely confirmation of Balder's relative success.

Balder is one of the most engaged and active game-created regions both externally and internally. In foreign affairs, this is reflected by our successful intervention in the Lazarus conflict, our participation in WALL, the treaties signed recently in the last few months and the treaties we are in the process of signing. Internally, it is reflected in that our total forum post count is the highest of all 4 sinker regions (even higher than TRR, which has had the same forum going back to 2004), and our highly active and socially orientated Discord server. If you think Balder is quiet, you're seeing only what you want to see.

Rach and NES did not "exchange" the Delegacy in the sense that there was a backroom deal between them. North East Somerset stood for Delegate and was elected to the position in January 2014, succeeding Rach. On a subsequent occasion, Rach stood for Delegate and re-gained the position in June 2014.

I... Wasn't trying to disparage anyone. I honestly don't know how you're getting that. In the US, exchange means many things, including something "exchanging hands" as in where a delegacy is "exchanged" between two people whether it be through succession or through elections.
