You might not want to talk about sweeping things under the rug, considering BoM's immediate report after that made no effort to address that it invaded one of its regular partner's allies without checking who it belonged to. It was fun seeing the point cancel the embassy closures and unsuppress the RMB posts after realization hit them though, so you get points for being mildly entertaining.

I'm sure a productive back and forth over who's been concealing what could be arranged; there's certainly plenty of material for it after all. I'm not sure what BoM raiding Venice has to do with TNP specifically, though, aside from being an easy gotcha

I do look forward to what "methodical" plans TNP has in store; and appreciate the apparent newfound willingness to engage, though. Barrel must've been scraped fully clean, huh? :blush:

Inasmuch as 'not ravenously slurping at the bootheels of certain indies for just the slightest crumb of an endorsement' qualifies, sure. A lot of relationships over the past couple years have been hilariously one-sided, and not putting up with those constrictions to nearly the same extent is a positive all around.
The game gets spicier, raiders can actually do stuff, defenders can drum up support over more than just 'those meanies sat on a region for two weeks', and the indies who've been trying to clamp down on "allowed" actions for years no longer have to worry about even the slightest possibility of being caught associating with someone guilty of cancelling an embassy or something similarly horrific~

Now since we're so big on making sure that people practice laudable concepts like wanting to make people engage in public discussions on what they did, I think we'll have to keep things fair and ask what BoM was thinking when it crashed Venice, a member of the URA (an alliance founded by one of its own members, to boot) which happens to be an ally of TWP, whose military has participated in regular ops with BoM since its revival and boasts a friendly relationship with them at the moment.

One would only need to take a cursory glance at this series of events, before ultimately arriving at the conclusion that mistakes were made and someone's still in denial about those said mistakes

Also do threats naturally come to BoM members in basically everything they post? Because damn, there's a lot to be going around here.

Discussions have been on-going with the URA and TWP -- the only two parties that matter in this situation -- since the night of the raid. Much like how we didn't publicly document every step of our affairs when negotiating our relationship with TNP, we are doing the same here. BoM has done everything asked by these parties, so spare me the narratives. Or better yet, spin them in our forum embassy, you'll find that we will not be as cowardly in the face of criticism as MadJack. That we haven't done your work for you is not an indication of cover-up.

We have "do not raid" notices out right now on folks who are diplomatically conversing with us. We did not target Stargate while you quizzed our diplomats for weeks before rejecting them. Once you tell us to fuck off though? Then an agreement was damn well needed.

You can't coast on old goodwill while telling people to kick rocks.

NPA Detags 101 Regions; Determines Regions Are Still Tagged

On the major update of April 10th, 2022, the North Pacific Army decided to clean up the following 101 tagged regions:

To their surprise, however, General Nimarya and Colonel Cretox State, the soldiers participating in the operation, quickly discovered that everything in the above regions was always fine and there was no reason to detag them, according to people in those regions and verified by sources in those regions. There is no reason to believe that those regions were ever detagged.

"There have been no unusual events or circumstances inside the formerly native-controlled regions, now fun raider theme parks with rides and candy and cute puppies and soft pillows. There is certainly no reason to believe that the regions in question were ever 'detagged' by the North Pacific Army, or to try and tag them again," said Madjack, the very handsome, smart, and kind Delegate of The North Pacific. "Really!"

"Also, all the raider ROs are still in place and are very happy and they miss you." Then he made a small child smile by giving him a lollypop.

"Tagged! Still tagged!"
In other news, tagger RO Switz got Lazy 565 and 100 others dismissed of completely natural causes.

"Delegate Madjack says that the regions in question are still tagged, and I have no reason to think otherwise," said General Nimarya in a prepared statement. "Anyone who doesn't think these regions are still tagged has a screw loose. They're clearly still tagged!"

"It's great to see tag teams experimenting with new WFE formats, and you have no reason to think otherwise," added Colonel Cretox while waving around a gaslight. "Anyone who thinks experimentation is bad has a screw loose. Experimentation is clearly good!"

It's worth noting that these detags were all specifically Brotherhood of Malice tags that we targeted. If there had been more, then we'd have detagged those too

That little fact does make this post a little awkward though...

Equal Rights are Human Rights

Because of recent events in the United States, there are many people concerned about the future of their rights being taken away. In light of this, we want to honor those who have perished fighting for their rights, and how we stand with those who need our support in the coming months. Starting today, the North Pacific will begin a two week campaign, Equal Rights Are Human Rights. Each day our regional flag will change to the portrait of a person who was killed, murdered, or assaulted for something they could not change, themselves. In our World Factbook Entry, we will give a brief description of what happened and a link to learn more about them. We want to share and announce to everyone that being human is not a crime, no matter who is in power.
We ask other regions to put aside our in-game differences for this event and join us in showing the people who have sacrificed themselves to give us a better world.
