Prohibitions of LWU and TBH

Good day, gameplay,

As you are all likely aware, roughly two major updates ago Lone Wolves United and The Black Hawks attempted a raid against Warzone Sandbox. In addition to being a well developed and sustained region in its own right, Warzone Sandbox is both an embassy region of The League and an active contributor to Libcord operations.

In the time since, Warzone Sandbox and its affiliated territories have undergone some reform and rebranding, and also signed the Golden Eagle Pact with The League. Our government takes acts of aggression against our embassies and allied partners very seriously, and therefore we could not sit idly by in the aftermath of this attack. In addition to offensive retaliation, the government considered other options in line with Leaguer customs and law.

As such, pursuant to Council of the Republic Law 29, “Process on Prohibiting Hostile Actors from the Republic”, the Office of the Consulate moved forward with proposed total prohibitions on both organizations.

Both of those have since passed, and we unfortunately inform the general public that members of Lone Wolves United and The Black Hawks are not permitted within any Leaguer jurisdictions, including but not limited to the region itself, our forum, or our Discord server. We are of course happy to address any questions or concerns, and have linked each of the prohibition proposals below for your convenience.

Honestly, a part of me felt bad because of the roughly 5 people in our server that we asked to leave or be kicked, the LWU one was Syberis, the one Wolf I would've ever hesitated to remove

Though, per the announcement on our Discord, no hard feelings OOC

Anyway more power to you for posting here in good fun rather than join your compatriots in digging their graves over in the TNP thread :clap:

The League's Defense Forces Foreign Report

The League’s Defense Forces (LDF) have had another month of incredible activity. Earlier in the month we concluded our longest offensive operation with the refounding of Army of Freedom. We once again thank our allies and other partners for their support in this operation.

A couple of weeks later we assisted in the liberation of China, during which we shattered both our single update and operation records with 13 updaters at the first siege and 20 overall. LDF command took active leadership roles in the liberation, as well.

Most recently we participated in a series of defenses of several regions, including our now-allies in Warzone Sandbox, as well as Japan. For the Warzone Sandbox defense in particular, the LDF activated a deployment of border control nations made in early November to ensure the defense of the region. Following those defenses we briefly deployed to Stargate to return the native delegate to power after they were displaced by invader carelessness.

Lastly, in response to the attempted invasion of Warzone Sandbox, the LDF led a tag raid of Pax Ordexxj alongside our Warzoner allies. Overall, it was a very active month for our regional military and we have enjoyed great success recently.

Consulate Foreign Report

The Office of the Consulate had a busy month, starting with overseeing the mid-term cycle of Council nominations for our opposite branch of constitutional government.

Beyond this, the Consulate has been extremely dedicated in working alongside the Department of Foreign Affairs and military. The liberation of China saw more experimentation in civilian outreach and Chief Consul / WA Delegate Creeperopolis has continued to do WA work such as approving and advocating proposals relevant to our friends and allies.

Following the attempted invasion of Warzone Sandbox, the Consulate authored and proposed the prohibitions of both Lone Wolves United and The Black Hawks in response to their aggression. Concurrent to this, we assigned a delegation of Leaguer officials to negotiate a new treaty with the Warzone Empire.

Council Foreign Report

This month, the Council has been extremely active. Firstly, on December 7th, Council Nominations opened with one returning council member and another continuing his term. The returning council member goes by the name The Tirol Region, and the one continuing another 1 month term is Reykanes. For voting cards this month, there was CRB 3 - A Bill to amend CRL 24 on December 14th, with 9 out of 9 votes in favor of amending CRL 24. On December 28th, a major act was proposed to the council. This act was Prohibition of Lone Wolves United which prohibits all members of LWU from entering The League’s Forums, The League’s Discord, The League’s Nationstates Region, and all other properties of The League. This bill had a landslide vote, with all council members voting in favor of it. A few hours later, another vote was put into action. This vote was The Golden Eagle Pact with a landslide majority in favor. Following this on the day directly after, December 29th, a similar voting card to the Prohibition of the LWU was proposed. This was Prohibition of The Black Hawks with the exact same reason, that reason being they raided The League’s Embassy region, Warzone Sandbox. The vote once again has a landslide vote, with 9/9 Council Delegates voting in favor. I hope you had a merry holiday and a Happy New Year!

Spite. Pettiness. The two most powerful human emotions, capable of allowing the human form to reach its true potential. Anyhow,

The Black Hawks, deciding to give themselves some pity points, got 27 (lol) tag hits while two of defending's biggest orgs were off doing wargames. Once those wargames ended, they got clobbered, the rest of update, for the record, but that didn't stop them from posting a vanity report about their couple wins that they dragged multiple relics and other regions along to pat themselves on the back for.

To start, the founder of Kushtopia, in true sigma fashion, detagged their own region this morning. So 26 hits remained. Unacceptable. Unfortunately, I have a job (:pensivecry:) and could not attend minor update. New Makasta valiantly represented our organization in completing 14 detags alongside our friends (this initial effort led by Salem of the RRA, driving Libcord through more than half of the Hawks' tags at minor update), and seeing this in reports gave me an idea. I promptly messaged him, and we resolved that NOT A SINGLE TAG from this wretched organization could be allowed to stand for more than a day.

Detag lists were made, people coordinated, and the feast continued at major update. As of writing, every single TBH hit from the prior major update has been detagged. Thank you in particular to Sergeant Salem and Senior Warden Frenchy for volunteering themselves as detag points regularly this past major in addition to General New Makasta.

The League’s Defense Forces (LDF) have had another month of amazing activity. Earlier in the month we conducted a siege of A Liberal Haven with a record 29 LDF soldiers coming to try and free the region from the clutches of raiderdom.

Due to the failure to successfully liberate the region however little else happened throughout the month outside of normal Libcord operations: fighting tag runs and performing detag runs.

The General of the League Defense Forces at the time of this report is New Makasta.

Council Foreign Report

The council hasn’t been active this month, for understandable reasons such as New Years, birthdays, and other events (namely a covid outbreak.) However, as you may know, it was time for all terms to end for the monthly cycle of the Council!

To start things off on January 8th, 2022, with the first people to get fully nominated for this term; Reykanes and Ajakanistan! Shortly after these two made it into quorum, a well known member of The League, New Makasta, swiftly followed suit, making it into quorum.

Another pair was nominated the next day (January 9th, 2022), these two being the very awesome DinoNet and SPode humbleD Minions. The same day, ANOTHER pair was sent into quorum to be Council Delegates. This pair was Karimun Jawa and East Yourtanad! The nominations ended on January 13th, 2022 with East Yourtanad becoming Speaker of the Council
