I watch Drew, and for over a year I had forgotten about this game, but his video reminded me of it and I am glad about that much. Perhaps not everything that came of it is a bad thing?

Y’all know if we tell them that you have to be 13 to post on the forums we could get rid of about three quarters of them.

It is always nice to come to a new place and be welcomed with prejudgements, espacially when this judgement is based on membership in an relatively heterogeneous group like, like having watched a youtube-video. Oh wait, no it isn't.
No one wanted to slow the server of this game down. And regarding the people using swastika-flags.. At least I dislike them as much as anyone with a half decent brain and heart.
Thanks however to all of you who welcome the new players first and do not dislike them instantly for something they never intended to do or could ever foresee.

Judging by the name and the flag, I presume it's a reference to Alexander the Great, and the Macedonian Empire.

I feel like a lot of the new players would probably focus more on issues and the stuff that Drew focused on in his video. The forums and the more RP-heavy stuff that I personally enjoy more weren't featured in the video (if i recall correctly) so therefore I think that those parts of the site might not see a major spike in activity.

However, I'm sure a decent chunk of his audience would be interested in that stuff (Drew's channel is based off of historical games, after all) so there might still be an influx. Regardless it's good to see more players I'm sure.
