You know, there's a reason people tend to avoid the forums here. There are many people who are quite rude to authors, and they instead want to do private drafting. Is this that wrong?

I'm sorry, but demanding basic standards to receive my personal approval is my prerogative. I have yet to see a decent proposal come to vote without a drafting process, and I doubt I ever will. Drafting has an essential role in providing time for players to offer input, suggestions, or criticism before submission to the proposal queue. This results in not only a less illegal proposal, but one that is better written in nearly every way. If you are so disinterested in what voters have to say about your draft, then I question why you should expect support at all.
Is there a "you need a draft rule?"

No, but there should be.

While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

In addition, this lists accomplishments that aren't really unique to TRR (including that they have a newspaper - Hell's Bells says hi) and commending them just for defending.

Internet communities are not healthy places for the thin-skinned.

Is your definition of "very questionable" based on number of resolutions authored or status as a SC regular? If so, that seems quite elitist.

No. In this instance, it's based on his recent history while attempting to author this resolution.

He seems to have developed a poor reputation with moderation, accruing at least one World Assembly ban. It is a ban which he attempted to lie to everyone about only a few pages ago.

(I'm honestly just waiting for the vote to be over so that I can re-draft this one year or many months from now. It will look SO much better.)

Ever heard of plagiarism?

Anyway, even with the author's permission to use his draft it would still fail because it's poorly written and researched.
