Never has the world been in such dire need of high-quality slave trade equipment. Slavery is on the upswing, yet beyond the selling of human beings, there is very little that is being done to improve the slave trade. Dark Waters Incorporated seeks to change this.

Operating mostly out of failed states, where the wealthy leadership of the Dark Waters Corporation can leverage its wealth to build their ships in secrecy, DWI can provide great benefits to any and all states that wish to improve its slave trade.

Dark Waters Incorporated presents the top of the line in slave and cargo transportation. The DWI-1 Blue Whale is the best slave ship on the market. Featuring a large amount of cargo space that allows for not only mass transport of materials but for maximum safety, the Blue Whale is the premier ship on the market. The following details an unmodified Blue Whale.

Ship Build
Measuring at over 1,300 feet long and 175 wide, the Blue Whale is a massive ship. Encased by five inches of steel plating on the exterior and a further three inches covering the cargo, slave, medical, and crew bays, the Blue Whale is not indestructible. It relies on naval escorts in order to fend off large assaults from professional naval forces, but between DWI Security and the DWI Drone Subs, it is more than capable of fending off pirate attacks and small raids. The ship is divided, from bottom to top: Slave Hold/LCAC Hold, Cargo Hold, Crew Quarters/Medical Facilities/Recreation, and Bridge/Command and Control/Topside.

Slave Hold
The Holds are divided into five sections, called blocks, with twenty 25-man cells in each block. Each cell contains one bed for each slave, five small showers, and a 20x20 joint living space. Each cell is monitored. It is cut off from all other cells and the only door leads back into the entrance hall of the block. Each cell can be cut off from control and pumped with gas if needed. Food is delivered through an automated system.
Should slaves riot, the cell's doors can be shut down, as could the air filtration system. Should the riot somehow break out of a single cell, the entire block can be shut down and pumped with gas and automated defenses activated. In extreme emergencies, it is possible to flood the area. The entire area is also hardened against outgoing or incoming communications not on the ship's network, disallowing a slave rebellion from broadcasting its progress. The

LCAC Hold
Each Blue Whale comes equipped with five DWI Sea Lion LCACs. The Blue Whale, being a ship of great size, is often unable to dock in smaller ports. Sea Lion LCACs thus allow transportation of goods and slaves to and from smaller ports. The LCAC Hold is located at the front of the ship and is submerged in order to allow the LCACs quick movement. The Hold is serviced by a quartet of massive freight elevators that help move materials, capable of moving upwards of 120 slaves or ten thousand lbs of cargo from the top to the bottom of the ship. For further information on the Sea Lion, see the appropriate article.

Cargo Hold
Containing over 3,000 TEU internal space, it can be used to transport any materials needed. It is hardened against EMP, Radio signals of any sort, transmissions of any sort, radioactivity, and is armored double the normal amount. Internal sabotage of any variety is ineffective and security is extremely easy, with the area being heavily guarded and monitored and with only two entrances.
The Cargo Hold is placed in such a place so when it pulls up to port cargo can be rolled onto dock less than ten feet below the Hold.

Crew Quarters
The crew compliment of 100 live in relative luxury, having the finest in home care utilities. Temper-peditrician mattresses, high-definition satellite television, individual showers and rooms, high-quality food, recreation rooms with various ball based games and other entertainment and luxurious items. However, there are precautions in place, as the possibility of a crewmember working against the wishes of the leaser and corporation. The precautions in place also work for pirate attacks: The crew is sequestered into a large safe room complete with three weeks worth of emergency rations that can only be opened up again on order from DWI. This room is also shielded from communications and hardened against attack, making it a safe place for the crew until help arrives.

Medical Hold
Containing three operation rooms(which in a thin situation can be used for nine surgeries), two recovery rooms(ten beds each), and nine medical offices(with four beds each), the Medical Hold is a fully-staffed, fully functional floating hospital. The staff is made up of only the best qualified medical personnel. It is not only able to treat any and all injuries on the high seas, but is also qualified for DWI Slave procedures. For the procedures, see the appropriate article.

Bridge
The command and control facility of the ship, the bridge contains a mixture of large-scale electronics, radar, and other advanced systems. The DWI patented Ship Communication System(SCS) is an electronics suite that controls the entire ship. It is what allows for the cutting off of slave quarters and any and all other operations on the ship. It also holds the Self-Navigation System, Panic Room Protocol, radar jamming, anti-missile defensive systems, and also controls the Drone submarines nearby. In a pinch, the Bridge SCS can be operated and controlled by DWI headquarters(such as during Protocol Swift Sword) and command basic orders.
Image
DWI Security clearing the top of a smaller craft during an exercise.
Security
DWI Security is in charge of the security of the craft. Usually containing a small platoon of 20, they are armed with salvaged Lyran arms and are of very high quality. When the crew is forced into the panic room, security takes over all operations of the ship in accordance with the SCS. They are capable of dispatching pirates and small-scale assaults and are trained in slave suppression. The security office is located aft of the bridge.

Topside
The top of the Blue Whale is able to hold an extra 300 TEU in addition to two helipads, each capable of holding helicopters the size of a single V-22, or four Blackhawks or six smaller helicopters. Most Blue Whales also come armed with more than two dozen .50 caliber machine guns and multiple 75mm guns.
Yet again, this is not meant to engage in heavy battle, but it provides more than enough firepower to deal with most pirate attacks. The ship is also armed with four anti-missile defensive systems.

Leasing and Special Terms
Each ship is not technically bought by the nation that puts out the money for a Blue Whale. Due to multiple incidents in the past, the ships are instead leased. Each Blue Whale comes with security and medical personnel and all fuel costs are paid by DWI. DWI Headquarters reserves the right to use Electronic Keylocks to control any and all Blue Whale ships, which are connected to DWI headquarters by the DWI InfoNet. In order to prevent possible theft or other infringments upon DWI property, DWI security are the only armed personnel allowed on any Blue Whale ship.
Agreement on these terms is non-negotiable.

Cost
Each Blue Whale costs $220 million to lease. This comes with a full security detachment, medical staff, and five Sea-Lion LCACs. In all actuality, the cost to Blue Whale by this stage is $230 million. When factoring into the long-term ramifications of purchasing all fuel and paying for the security and medical personnel, the Blue Whale program is operated at a massive loss by DWI.
Why do this? Because it is the sincere wish of DWI to improve the slave trade, and DWI hopes that any and all nations that purchase the Blue Whale will be interested in further purchases.

Image
Sea-Lion in testing.

The use of the Sea Lion is considered important for many reasons. First and foremost, being a hovercraft, it can come up ashore and collect slaves and cargo without having to go to port. The well-armed nature and protection of the Sea Lion allows it to act as modified boarding vessels and it is very seaworthy. Its ability to carry large quantities of materials allows it to work in environments that the Blue Whale can't. It is able to be used effectively as an anti-Pirate vessel in need of emergency. The cargo area is kept shielded from communication to prevent slave rebellions from moving past the craft in dire circumstances.
It can carry 250 tons of equipment, slaves, or general cargo. There are 300 fold down seats for comfort of slaves or other personnel who are sitting in the cargo bay. Two tanks can be laid end to end, with the second story(with a roller to the top) allowing up to four standard weight main battle tanks to be stationed inside of the LCAC.
The cost of a Sea Lion is $38 million standard NS dollars. Cost may rise dependent on modifications. Just like the Blue Whale, the Sea Lion is leased and is operated under all of the conditions present in the Blue Whale's writeup, even if purchases separately.

The Federal Government of the United Island States issues a full condemnation against the Corporation of Dark Waters Inc and any affiliates and nations that affiliate. Nations that associate with DWI shall have citizens put on travel ban and any trading in its waters will be suspended. A warning is also in effect for fisherman, sailors, Militia to be aware of any DW craft near AHSCA regional waters or the waters of Carnelian Island our Ally. We hope more nations will join an embargo though it is sad we know there are still nations that practice the barbaric and inhumane act of slavery.

Official Message from the United States of Allanea:

The Department of Defense would like to make the following facts clear:

1. The United States of Allanea does not recognize the right of slave states to engage in slavery.
2. The United States of Allanea has, as an integral part of its foreign policy, the killing of slavers, the disruption of slave trade, and the hunting of slavers for their pelts. The latter in particular is a traditional form of sport and economic activity in Allanea, and individuals in all age groups 16 and upwards engage in it.
3. The United States of Allanea hereby announces that personnel of the United States Navy and Air Force, as well as Naval Girl/Boy Scouts, Wing Scouts, and any other Allanean government entities which spot slave-trade ships on the high seas to capture or sink them as they see fit.
4. We hereby warn any purchasers of these ships that by using them, they are running the risk of being mistaken for slavers and summarily raided/sunk.

I want 20 DWI-BW Blue Whale Cargo Vessel with twenty 5-man cells in each block and one full bathroom (including shower). I also want the gas pumps taken out and it to be impossible to shut of the air filtration system. Also, I do not want the possibility of flooding and I want double the weapons as well as several doctors trained in genital surgery per ship as well as standard doctors. I also want four operating rooms, three recovery rooms (five beds each), and five medical offices (two beds each) per ship. I am willing to pay more for these simple changes which I am sure you can accommodate. Also I want the Sea Lion LCACs taken out to allow more room for cells to hold slaves in, one door to the cargo hold taken out, and the spare internal space converted to more cells for slaves.

To: South East Europe
From: Chairman of Sales, Rebecca Tali

Valued Customer,

Your order for twenty(20) modified Blue Whale cargo vessels is confirmed. Your modifications will be undertaken by our experienced staff. However, the LCAC hold can not be modified in any way, disallowing any slave accommodations in that area. Modified cells are easy as only a shower must be added. Total slave capacity is now 2,000, though now they operate in far superior conditions. The extra medical concerns have been addressed, and as a sign of your value, total medical staff has doubled to thirty-two personnel.
We need more information regarding weapons modification to give you a total cost. However, DWI estimates the cost to be $230 million per ship, $4.6 billion total. We would estimate that increased weaponry will cost an additional $100-$150 million more in total.

In all cases however, order processed and ships are being built. We value your continued support.

Cordially,
CoS Rebecca Tali

To: Vortiagancia
From: Chairman of Sales, Rebecca Tali

Valued Customer,

The cost of the five Sea-Lion LCACs is included in the purchase of a Blue Whale. Indeed, we operate at a massive financial loss with every purchase of a Blue Whale all told. We value the slave trade highly, however, and allow our other revenue streams to balance it all out. Meanwhile, we also bank on the quality of our items to the factor that we hope you may purchase our other equipment(Sea Lion LCAC, Drone Submarine, Silent Knife UAV) in such numbers as to be profitable.

Really bad photo of the Silent Knife.

Silent Knife UAV
Length: 13.5 ft
Wingspan: 24 ft
Height: 5 feet
Empty weight: 460 lbs
Loaded weight: 500 lbs
Max takeoff weight: 1000 lbs
Powerplant: 1× HMI-Engine Type Small, 130 HP
Maximum speed: 205 mph
Cruise speed: 130-145 mph
Stall speed: 60 mph
Range: 1000 nmi
Endurance: 36 hours
Service ceiling: 15,000 ft
Cost: $5 million.

The Silent Knife UAV is one of the more important vehicles deployed by DWI. It is not armed, instead it acts as a UAV for reconnaisance, radar support, sonar support, and anti-missile defenses. It has multiple elctronic suites designed to deal with large-scale missile attacks; in testing, a suite of eight Silent Knife UAVs was capable of dealing with fifty anti-ship missiles en route to the Blue Whale before the Blue Whale's SCS countermeasures had to be deployed. It's advanced sonar equipment allows it to be used as a submarine finder, and advanced radar and electronic warfare systems allow it to mask the location of the Blue Whale while also finding any opposing forces. The Silent Knife UAV systems that come with a Blue Whale are kept in a ten foot landing bay below the helipad, allowing the system to be deployed separate from any helicopters that are used on the ship. It has advanced camera systems and is connected into the SCS and InfoNet datastream networks, allowing superb networking across the entire DWI fleet. Leasing the Silent Knife UAV is persuant to all terms in the Blue Whale contract, even if bough separately. Eight Silentt Knives come with every purchase of a Blue Whale. Connected to InfoNet.

The DWI Mark I Drone Submarine is the lynchpin in the defense of a Blue Whale. Unmanned, it is controlled by the SCS system. Nominally, a member of the crew controls it. Should the ship ever have its SCS system go under automated control, the drone submarines will go under automated protocols and come under the control of the SCS Key Holder. Without any space required for individuals, the submarine has been built to maximize speed, electronics, and weapon systems. It is capable of moving in excess of forty knots and is limited only be the control of the SCS system. It has two VLS systems capable of firing anti-ship missiles and four torpedo tubes firing specialized high-explosive torpedos. The Drone Submarine is not a well-armored craft, relying on the electronics suite of the SCS and speed to survive. However, it is a wonderful escort for Blue Whales and is a cheap alternative to expensive manned submarines. Leasing the Mark I Drone Submarine is persuant to all terms in the Blue Whale contract, even if bough separately. Two Mark Is come with every purchase of a Blue Whale. Connected to InfoNet.

Valued Customers,

Do not heed the empty threats of these anti-slave buffoons. They are already hunting down slavers; DWI equipment helps ensure security on the high seas and is far more profitable and cost-efficient.
We at DWI hope that current customers find our equipment to be of high value and quality. Current write-ups include several surgeries and control chips.

Cordially,
CoR Darren Thomas
