#748 is a follow-up issue that appears only weeks to months after completing the main part of the chain. Depending on how many issues to regularly process it may take even longer for it to appear. Cf. also the description,

The danger is long passed, and the site cleared, but there now appear to be multiple cases of mesothelial lung cancer and other serious respiratory ailments amongst the volunteers who attended the site at the time of the attack.

which states it has long passed -- so it fits the overall narrative of a story.
