The Power Index

Postby Lemueria » Thu May 02, 2024 12:09 pm

The Lemuerian government has in inspiration from countless other diplomats, created this Power Index which looks to assign a score from 0 to 100, to nations all over the world. We hope you find the depth of this index useful. We take into account a variety of factors which we will ask you to provide below:
Nation Name:
Population:
Land Area:
Economy:
Number Of Embassies:
Number Of Alliances:
Average Happiness:
Access to adequate food, electricity, and clean water?

The methodology is a trade secret.

We use the following labels:
Hyperpower (80-100) - A hyperpower mostly dominates the world, they are often huge in population, land area, and the economy, or at least two of the above. They represent a unipolar world power.
Superpower (60-80) - These are the absolute most powerful nations in the world, the elite league, they compromise together almost all of the world's main industry and population.
Developing Power (50-60) - These powers are in the process of turning from middle powers to superpowers, perhaps by an economic boom, or a series of unlikely diplomatic events. Whatever lead to it, they are an up-and-coming star.
Middle Power (40-50) - These countries are able to influence not only their region but the world at the large, countries care about them. Their events have a measurable impact on the world order. They are what superpowers need to swing.
Regional Power (30-40) - They possess the control of a superppwer in their region at least, or maybe even a hyperpower! Unfortunately their region might just be a group of small powers that are just puppets of these nation, but more likely it is several countries trying to take control and establish themselves in the region so they can move onto the world scale.
Small Power (20-30) - These small powers are the building block of the world, literally they compromise 95% of the world but only have 15% of the power, these are the puppets of regional and middle powers, but it isn't like they aren't important, far from that, they are the building blocks of the world's economies, each small power adds up, slowly.
Hermit Kingdom (0-20) - These kingdoms lack diplomatic relations as a whole and may just be a few villages, they might not even be deserving of the title of "nation". But they are powerful in their own way, at isolation and peace at least.
