Insuffiecient OP, but great concept for a thread. I'm ironically and unironically afraid of AIs overtaking human society by convincing us to grant them rights then proceeding to use said rights to dominate society and gradually replace us, either passively or violently.

I'm afraid of myself. Not that what I can do to myself, or I'm a violent way. But of not meeting my potential. Of not succeeding, of not trying hard enough. Of not seeing the signs or changing to be better. To not living life to it's fullest.

Also whilst not as much of a fear as those above, I do worry for my LGBTQ+ friends, especially with the rise of populism across the developed world
