The Marist Co-Operation Treaty Organization is an alliance based in the city of Marist in the north of Fort Viorlia, dedicated to helping maintain peace, stability, and the overall growth of its members. It is founded on the principles of the Treaty of Marist.

Treaty of Marist

Preamble

We, the members of this alliance, in order to fulfill the purport of this organization, hereby agree to the terms below, and, on joining, will follow and abide by its principles.

Article I

The purport of this organization shall be to establish peace and stability for its member states. The agreeing nations therefore must concur to abstain from using unnecessary force, and must only use their forces to maintain order and safety.

Article II

The agreeing nations are required to cede 2.5% of their military force if their only residence within an alliance is in this alliance—the Marist Co-Operation Treaty Organizaiton—1.75% if residing in one other, and 1.5% if residing in at least 2 other alliances.

Article III

The agreeing nations are required to possess at least 500,000 soldiers and spend at least 1% on their military.

Article IV

In a time of crisis, recession, or war in a member, the whole of the alliance must provide, to the greatest extent, the needed support.

Article V

Member nations agree that political and social ideologies that espouse hate, unfairness, or extremism (fascism, sexism, racism) is a threat to both the stability and the securing of neighboring nations, if not of an even further reach of influence, that must be stopped.

Article VI

Every member state will have a seat at the Council of Marist, where, in times needed, as well as four times a year, they will gather to discuss situations and further plans.

Article VII

Members may be either appointed by Fort Viorlia or elected by the alliance to office, granting them higher power in decisions and meetings, and also uphold the values represented herein.

Explain your nation’s history and ideology. The Eusan Federation is the victor of a bloody, 65-year civil war between the Eusan Empire, Eusan People’s Nation, and later on, the Federation. We have been at peace and isolated for 200 years since then, only recently arriving to what is now the Frontier Territories. The Federation practices Social Anocracy, a hybridized form of democracy with many socialist aspects.


Why do you wish to join the MCoTO? Seeking another alliance that doesn’t discriminate based on ideology.

As the nation grew, it was united under an authoritarian Magnus Imperator who clamped down on political and civil rights while promoting economic growth. As the national economy became increasingly successful people called for equivalent rights in other areas. This resulted in the First Kostan Civil War, where a neutralist faction led by the navy managed to gain control and establish a quasi-democratic state. After that, the military was developed against perceived aggressors who had intervened in the Civil War. This resulted in Kostane becoming increasingly more authoritarian and interventionist. This occurred up until the Second Kostan Civil War, where peace treaties are likely to result in devolution and more democracy. Kostane is currently part of the ISD and was once part of the CSL, but had a falling out with them and sees that as evil and interventionist.


Why do you wish to join the MCoTO? Kostane sees the MCoTO as an opportunity to further its role in global geopolitics, as well as diversify its options. It is an alliance outside of the ISD structure that would allow Kostane more geopolitical autonomy.

Explain your nation’s history and ideology.
Much of Imsalian history takes place in the (OOC world), up until around the year 2050, when a militant group known as Isalt appeared as a white knight during the Steel Uprising. Through extensive funding (from less than scrupulous means), the Imsalian R&D Dept. created one of the most powerful militaries in the world, comprised of two million active troops at this time. After this machine uprising (which may or may not have been sparked by Imsalian officials), Imsalian Legions began "cleansing" the automatons, and instating Imsalian officials across the world.The Imsalian Dominion currently controls all territory on Planet 101k-b (an alternate Earth). Currently, the "supreme leader" is Eris Taan, with a board of lesser officials.

Why do you wish to join the MCoTO?
To cement the nation as a reliable foreign aid source. Also, while Imsalia seems to be psychotically expansionist, leadership believes in human rights, equal opportunity through equitable treatment and other misc policies.

How does your nation represent the values of our alliance?
While Imsalia has some less-than-humane weaponry, they are hesitant to use them unless in extenuating circumstances. As a nation, we believe in fairness and equality, and are strongly anti-fascist.

This is technically my second nation, the first one I created, I used for maybe a month before forgetting about it. I've created a second nation known as Cyndr, which has been gathering dust.

Egypt as a country has existed in many forms since 3150 BC but in its current state, Egypt as it stands today came into existence around AD 850. Our ideology is Conservatism of the secular variety. We became a Pro-Western, Pro-American Constitutional Monarchy 2 months after the end of WW2.

The Federation is a nation born out of a group of competing 11 states that came from the dissolved Kranoc Empire which had to dissolve after the states disagreed over a proposal to give all citizens, no matter any quality of that person, other than age, all equal rights(Voting, Speech, legal rights, etc.). The States then were unite when the people of each nation came to together, overthrew the racist governments and reunited
