OOC: Heya! So, in many nations backstories it is mentioned that there was a rebellion against a colonial regime. Well, I thought to myself, what if there was a way to roleplay that out? Basically, the commonwealth is like a mixture of the modern day British Commonwealth and the older British Empire. Daeva is basically still operating under Victorian British ethos, just with a veneer of Turkish and Persian culture thrown on top. So, this is alliance is for those who want to have been briefly a colonial regime, or a vassal, or whatnot. Or those who want to remain so. I am not picky. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!

Different Levels:
So, there are different application levels, that basically represent how much Daevan oversight is in your country. They are, arranged from least to most, Sister State, Protectorate, Vassal, Princely State, Independent Satrapy, Tributary, Crown Satrapy with separate applications for each. If you want modern day British Commonwealth style, I would go with Sister State or Protectorate. If you want an evil colonialist story, I would go Crown or Tributary.
Descriptions of the different levels
Sister State: think the relationship between Canada and the UK. Basically just preferential trade status and recognizing the Daevan Royal Family as their own.
Protectorate: what it sounds like, protection in exchange for larger economic preference and the ability for Daevan forces to intervene in any conflict.
Vassal: a state that remains autonomous but recognizing Daevan superiority, with a tax and Daevan inspectors in the government.
Princely State: very specific, basically a state with an already existing monarchy that recognizes the House of Chakravarti as their superiors. Often treated preferentially due to being monarchies, with more support and less tax
Independent Satrapy: an autonomous region that is allowed to operate as it will, but with heavy Daevan tribute, economic preference and the ability of Daevan Foreign Legion to recruit.
Tributary: a state that gives larges amount of money and resources in exchange for protection.
Crown Satrapy: a state directly governed by a Daevan authority, part of the Holy Empire in all but name.
Charter (applies to all):
-All Commonwealth nations will have trade without tariffs, with Daevan trade and corporations giving preference.
-All Commonwealth nations will allow Daevan involvement in any wars or conflicts that occur involving commonwealth states
-All Commonwealth nations agree to a defensive pact with all commonwealth countries, and a pact to support Daeva in aggressive war
- All Commonwealth nations will hold themselves to high standards and respect Daevan conventions on law and order.
-All Commonwealth nations will allow information sharing with the Grigori Intelligence Agency
