If California were independent it would have somewhere between the 6th and 9th largest economy in the world, it has more economic power than France. It's home to more people than Canada and multiple other countries. California also has many differences politically with the rest of the US states. So I'll leave it you to debate, should California become its own country?

The majority of the South wanted independence, and held votes to that effect. You argued they were traitors literally just a few days ago. Doesn't this stance seem hypocritical of you?

Another thing to look at is: could California support itself if it did become independent? If I remember correctly, it would need to receive less money from the US government than it sends to it (for every dollar it sends, how much does it get back; for example: $1 is sent and it gets back $1.50 from the federal government) to even think about being able support itself.

Kek. It's going to be all fine for an independent California until the water supply dries out.
