Good afternoon.
I recently received a Telegram which I was unable to reply to due to an anonymous Moderator's sending.
It explained that my signature had failed to meet the eight-line limit and claimed that it was sixteen lines. It was not sixteen lines long. I wasn't counting, but there's no way I could have made it pass ten or eleven, which, while exceeding the policy, is hardly worth threatening to ban me from ever using a signature again and totally blanking my signature.
The normal policy for signature violations is that signatures in violation of the bylaws are edited by the Moderators for compliance, and that the user is alerted to their mistake and asked to keep watch next time. Last I checked, forbidding the user from having a signature and banning their ability to edit an existing signature is the epitome of overkill.
I get it that you guys really don't like me, but isn't something as petty as a signature being a line or two off something that should only be fixed by alerting the user or simply changing the signature instead of threatening overkill punishments?
I'd have gladly changed my signature if I was asked, and of course I accept the change that was made in the signature.
I ask that you understand that this was an innocent mistake and not some attempt to flaunt or violate the rules. Let it also be noted that my signature has been viewed by everyone on this Forum, including the Moderators, and it has not once been called to my attention that anything was wrong with my signature. I write to you to explain my position and mistakes.
Thank you for your attention.
