Israel no longer exists in this timeline. But Zionists interests are very much at play with irredentist groups in the area that was once Israel and outside of it.

We recognize the perils Zionism poses to the world and has posed in the past and are completely opposed to the idea of Israel rising again. Although the Government and Grand Leader stress our anger is towards Zionism and not the Jews who are against it.

Israel never formally existed until 1989. In my timeline, the Axis Powers won WWII, and instead of exterminating all Jews as Hitler wanted to, in 1950, Mussolini ordered an assassination of Hitler and took over his place through systematic political moves, establishing Nationalist Europe.

He decided to stop the exterminations, and instead bombed the Palestine-established Jewish Refugee Zone, an informal nation with their own governance, into oblivion in 1954, letting the Palestinians rule over their territory. Palestine ruled for 35 years until 1989, when then-President Rivento of the Democratic State of Emperyo sent troops along with troops of the newly-established Free World (a UN variant) to reclaim territory that by right belonged to Israel. Israel was established as a protectorate under Emperyo, until 2005 when Rivento, who became a dictator, was ousted and Israel was given its status as an independent nation and all Jewish Empyrians were to either be Israeli or Empyrian as they cannot have dual citizenships.

From the establishment of the Republic of Emperyo in 2005 till now (2026), the presidents have followed a tradition of non-intervention towards Zionist issues, along with their refusal to intervene with religious issues through their advocation of separation of church and state.

In this timeline, Palestine became independent of the UK as soon as the Balfour declaration was made public. However, there is a small minority of Zionists still trying to take over Palestine. We have good relations with Palestine and some residents import Palestinian computers because of their high quality.

While we don't hate Jews at all, we reject the concept that Jews should have their own nation, to the exclusion of others. A Jewish nation is acceptable to us as long as it doesn't provide a detriment to other peoples.

Over all, we have no official positon and we recognize Jehuda as a real country.

Around 1% of our white population is Jewish according to the 2010 census. Although the Jewish community in South Eastern Africa is traditionally considered liberal on the issue of Apartheid inside South Eastern Africa it is also assessed that the community is largely very supportive and proud of the nation of Israel and as such most Jews would probably regard themselves as Zionist.

Amongst the white population as a whole attitudes are probably more mixed. Although many on the religious right are supportive of the state of Israel in a similar way to the religious right in the USA, anti-Semitism has a long and vicious history in South Eastern Africa. Officially the government of South Eastern Africa is very supportive of the state of Israel and maintains diplomatic ties, trade deals and a covert military relationship involving training, intelligence sharing and arms contracts.

The African and Asian populations are rarely polled, however those who're supportive of liberation movements align themselves with the Palestinian cause and it is likely the substantial Muslim population shares the attitudes of its co-religionists in Northern Africa and the Middle East.
