Why jihadism affected mostly France and Belgium?

But other than the bigger presence of muslim immigrants, what are in your opinion the social issues and conditions that implied this?

To me is it mostly the economic inequality in big cities and the existence of bailleurs (?) or neighbourhoods were people are divided along economic (=ethnical/religious) lines and coexistence and comprehension of the other is harder.

France in particular has had a serious problem with Islamophobia exacerbating the problem. It began enforcing a ban on religious dress particularly aimed at Islamic dress in 2004 and has in a number of school districts had the option for school meals without pork, bacon, ham, etc. removed as a way of excluding and separating out Muslim members of the communities. These sorts of policies have been isolating Muslims in France and isolated communities feeling ostracized by the rest of the country are breeding grounds for radicalization.

And deep distrust between French- and Flemish-speaking government officials has created an elaborate and sclerotic security apparatus that doesn’t always deal with threats efficiently and promptly.

And France's own painful post-colonial experience with the Arab world as well as its approach to laïcité.

Because they have significant Muslim populations... the more of any group you have, the more of a criminal element from that group will exist. If you have a group of Christians and 1% are criminals, (hypothetical number) and you have 100 Christians, you will have probably 1 criminal. If you have 100000000000000 Christians, you will have a few more let's say. France and Belgium have more Muslims than lots of European countries, and as the number of a demographic increases so will the amount of criminals from that demographic.

Not really. Belgium, for example, has a population of 5.9% Muslims of various descriptions, Germany has 5.9% and France 7.5% - though Germany has a larger population numerically because they have a larger population in total.

Does not matter, the percentage may be less than 1%, but they have already killed over 100 people, more than that in Europe alone. As well as raped hundreds more.
