OOC: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=388080

Name: Cyber Tech Inc.

Leader: Jason Hayden

Faction Size: Approximately 500 million employees galaxy wide.

Tech Level: CTI is a large company dedicated to achieving humanity's potential, via the process of replacing the flesh with metal, and ensuring that humanity always has the upper hand by making the best weapons that they can.

Background: CTI was created by Jason Hayden as a means to provide cheap and effective cybernetic augmentations to the public. Jason accomplished this goal for two reasons. He grew up noticing people were sometimes missing parts of their body. He thought it was strange, and it came to a head when he was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Since then CTI has pushed Cybernetic augmentations as a solution to many of the problems that organic life had issues with. Jason himself even indulges in cybernetics and has as many augments as is body will allow and even finding ways to weapons inside of the augments.

On the surface at least. CTI is much deeper than it seems. While Jason pushes cybernetics and weapon technology as CTI's standard fare, he's working on much, much more advanced technology in secret. Dark matter reactors, zero point energy weapons, kill bots, and consciousness transferal are just the beginning.

Name/Alias: Jason Hayden

Gender: Male

Age: 153

Species: Cybernetic Human

Appearance: Jason Bot Jason's real body.

Backstory: Jason was born along time ago by human standards. Ever since he was a child, he always had a fascination with robots. Watching movies that featured always had him rooting for the machine, even if it was the antagonist. When he grew up he went into bionic engineering in hopes of finding a way to upgrade his body. Fortunately he was extremely gifted in this field and pushed the concept farther than any previous. Helping with the battery issue and the biggest issue, having the organic parts reject the mechanical parts. Once the technology was stable and safe, partly as a publicity stunt for his company and partly because he was tired of his weak and flimsy body failing him.

Jason augmented himself as much as he could possibly go. Leaving more machine than man. His company took off and he quickly became one of the wealthiest men alive. He never cared for the money as anything more than a means to an end. A few decades passed and eventually he pushed out into the galactic market, only furthering his technological progress and ideas. But like all things, something has to go wrong, and go wrong it did. Jason was diagnosed with a very unusual, aggressive form of brain cancer. As luck would have it, it was inoperable without causing severe brain damage and crippling his vast intelligence. This was the last straw. Things were going to change for him. He never told anyone but the heads of his R&D department. He was not going to die. And no one was to know about his disease.

He had a robotic body built, not just a basic one, but one the represented everything that he stood for. He wanted the body to be everything that CTI had to offer. Using technology that was either illegal, untested, or just flat out dwarfed the rest of the galaxy, he designed his new body. Once that was done, Jason was very close to death and as such had one final mission before he died. He transferred his consciousness from himself into the new body. And was absolutely thrilled with the results. No more migraines and spinning rooms. No more aches and pains. No more exhaustion. No more memory issues. Even his R&D was shocked to the fact that not only did it work, but Jason seemed really happy despite having burned most of his personal fortune in building this masterpiece. The final thing he did was had a modified customer service A.I. take the place of his old body while using his new one as a bodyguard. No one but the highest level scientists knew about this, and Jason told them that letting this information leak without his consent would carry severe consequences. They agreed that this was a secret best kept for the moment.

Powers and Abilities: Jason Bot: A basic mouthpiece for Jason to use to keep his company together. Everyone, but a very small number of people believe this to be the real Jason. This body is far beyond the strength of flesh and has several systems built in to keep him safe.

Supernatural Condition: The robot is inhumanly strong, fast, and combat oriented. Thanks to all of the augments, it's very difficult to damage, and even harder to destroy.

Built in Weapons Systems: The robot has a vast array of weaponry. Including plasma blades, shock blasters, and incinerator cannons.

Supernatural Immunity: Because it's a machine, nearly all forms of poison are useless, psionics have limited use against it, it no longer requires oxygen, and is immune to pain.

Jason's Real Body: The real body of Jason Hayden, designed by himself. This body was referred to as a "personal body guard using the best CTI has to offer." Jason muses that he would be considered a WMD in many portions of the galaxy if they knew what the body was capable of. He possess all of the above powers, but to a much greater degree. Along with several experimental weapons and system either not found, or rarely found throughout the galaxy.

Infinite Energy: Jason's body uses a Dark Matter reactor that not only burns cleanly, but provides him with an absurd amount of power that will never degrade.

Hardlight Manipulation: Jason's body is capable of manipulating hardlight to such a fine degree, that it's capable of creating and maintaining constructs. Also used primarily as the invisible force field that's around the body.

Zero-Point Energy Manipulation: CTI's answer to a nonlethal solution against violence. This technology allows him to freeze anything up to the size of a large battle taink down to a quantum level and move it without causing harm or damage to the target.

Technology Manipulation: The most experimental system Jason has. The ability to recode, rewrite, and even take control of other technology. It's a bit buggy, but more or less works with anything with an AI.

Weaknesses: Ego: Jason is, understandably, incredibly confident in his abilities as an engineer and really doesn't like being questioned on it.

Instability: Jason's new body, while profoundly advanced, isn't perfectly stable. While he theoretically could output infinite power, the body is not designed to handle that much stress. Too much and he could damage the delicate parts of it.

Standard Equipment: His body.

Intelligence: Jason is considered to be one of the foremost robotic and cybernetic engineers in the galaxy. And doesn't mind reminding people of it.

Optional stuff.

Theme song:

Random Facts about your character: He actually still has a sense of touch in his new body.

Name: The Zentorn Fleet

Leader: A council or some such thing. No one leader.

Faction Size: Hundreds of millions of individuals.

Tech Level: A massive fleet composed of thousands of ships. Houses the known species. Ships contain technology for sustaining species. Largest ships are dozens of kilometers in length. Powerful energy based weapons.

(Not sure how to measure advancement since I can't compare it to other people's yet.)

Background: The Zentorn fleet keeps a permanent blockade over the Borderworld. It allows no ships to leave or travel there. It is always there. The species lives aboard the fleet. They rarely travel to the surface or intervene with the lives of the inhabitants, though there are exceptions. Nobody knows why.

Name: The Borderworld

Leader: Divided into various states.

Faction Size: Total population approaches five billion. Ninety percent immigrated.

Tech Level: Varied.

The relics of a long gone but advanced civilization dot the world. The native inhabitants learned to scavenge it. They can't produce new technology but they can repair what they find pretty well. Much of their economy revolves around scavenging technology and trading it.

Alien visitors to the planet brought with them their technology. Thus some people on the planet have more advanced technology available, and some scavenge from ancient technology.

Background: The people of the Borderworld simply seek to survive. Between the arid and dusty landscape and the bands of raiders who roam the planet scavengers work hard to make a living. In the past aliens visited the planet to trade with the locals, but that was before the Zentorn fleet that has been orbiting the planet as long as anyone can remember started destroying any ship that tried to reach the planet. Now only a few smugglers can make it through, and when they do they find the inhabitants have little to trade. That's if raiders don't try to just take it. Thus outside contact is rare and communities of aliens marooned on the planet have sprung up.
TG me about my avatars for useless trivia.

A very good link right here.

Name: The Gang

Theme song: Encaptures everything you need to know about this faction. A must listen.

Leader: Rot

Faction Size: 1 bored guy and 1 bored girl

Tech Level: Well, they have a single spaceship that only has two seats, no weapon attachments and no way of using those fancy advanced space travel methods like hyperlanes or jump drives, so pretty poor by any possible measurement. Really, they don't even need the tech - they fight with their natural powers and they visit an alien world if they need anything in particular to buy it.

Background: Just chillin'. Planet Varhon, the homeworld of Rot and Chi, was wiped out and glassed by a giant meteor while the two were on a trip to a nearby solar system, and without a home and anyone to come back to, they were basically left as wanderers, as nomads. And that's what they do. Travel across the Universe without a purpose and interact with people. Sometimes they get embroiled in a foreign war. Sometimes they have to help tender a space chicken farm. So yeah, space nomads. It's Always Sunny In Varhon.

Name/Alias: Rot

Gender: Male

Age: 34

Species: Varhonian

Appearance: here

Backstory: Before the destruction of Planet Varhon a few years ago, Rot was an accomplished ship engineer and pilot - he studied in the Planetary Academy of Applied Sciences with a high grade and soon joined the War Fleet of Varhon as an engineer. Since his homeworld was a fairly distant one far from most of the action (not that anyone would want to visit a planet full of sentient monkeys, anyway), he didn't get to put these skills to the test. On the fated day, Rot was sent on a scouting mission to a nearby solar system - unbeknownst to him, a local student named Chi had snuck into his ship by pure accident, and by the time he found out, they were the last surviving Varhonians in the Universe.

Rot and Chi became companions on their long mission in search of nothing at all. So yeah.

Powers and Abilities: Varhonian Physiology - The inhabitants of Planet Varhon, while not the sharpest tools in the shed and not all that into technology, are considered to be in to high tiers of physical strength among the many races in the Universe. Most members of their species are easily capable of outrunning bullets, lifting cars or small vessels and taking far more physical punishment than any ordinary human could possibly withstand.

Aura - An another natural Varhonian ability. According to them, it's the control of the thin veil of energy surrounding one's body applied for a myriad of effects. According to scientists, it's a blanket term for a light version of various fundamental force manipulation and other physics babble... Whatever is the case, the Varhonians can use their aura for dozens of effects. There are seven types or "colors" of aura, each one with different effects and uses (check link for description), and an aura user can only use one at a time. Through intense meditation and focus, the color can be changed, but it's usually not effective during battle. Rot prefers the yellow (Manipura) aura, which deals with energy and willpower - it is used for energy attacks and other applications of aura energy, like creating temporary aura clones or enhancing one's combat.

Weaknesses: Aura takes a lot of time to change type/color and can only be used one color at a time. And, no matter what, the Varhonians are not invincible despite their strength - they can still be killed and maimed, and can be overpowered by sheer manpower.

Standard Equipment: Not much besides his pants

Intelligence: Very well educated and a prodigy ship engineer, mechanic as well as pilot, but is quite detached from reality and lacks basic street smarts.

Optional stuff.

Theme song: Same theme as for his faction

Random Facts about your character:

Name/Alias: Chi

Gender: Female

Age: 23

Species: Varhonian

Appearance: here

Backstory: Before the destruction of Planet Varhon, Chi was a dropout from the Planetary History Academy. While her parents were pushing for her to become a great scholar for most of her life, being well educated themselves, the girl never caught on to it, much to the disappointment of the rest of her family. After failing to pass an important exam numerous times, Chi finally gave up, left the Academy and moved to live in the streets, in the lowest ranks of society. It was sure a humbling experience for someone like her who came from a wealthy family, but the world turned out to be much more violent and unforgiving than she anticipated. On the fated day, Chi was running from a gang that she owed a big monetary debt to, and in order to escape she wandered off to a military base, hiding in the cargo of the first ship in her vicinity. It turned out to be the vessel operated by a local ship engineer named Rot, and by the time she discovered that, they were the last Varhonians left in the Universe.

Chi and Rot became companions on a long trip for nothing in particular.

There are seven types or "colors" of aura, each one with different effects and uses (check link for description), and an aura user can only use one at a time. Through intense meditation and focus, the color can be changed, but it's usually not effective during battle. Chi uses the orange (Swadhistana) aura, which deals with emotion, empathy and emotion empowerment.

Weaknesses: Aura takes a lot of time to change type/color and can only be used one color at a time. And, no matter what, the Varhonians are not invincible despite their strength - they can still be killed and maimed, and can be overpowered by sheer manpower.

Standard Equipment: Not much besides her bra and pants

Intelligence: University dropout and not particularly skilled in science or any education, but has a lot of experience in survival and has quite a lot of street smarts.

Optional stuff.

Background: The Gare once set foot into the Milky Way galaxy several centuries ago, their goal, as always, to infect all intelligent life in existence. They came through a wormhole one of the empires of the Milky Way opened as an experiment. Once they were through, they conquered a decent chunk of the galaxy before the elder races banded together and purged them.

Now they return with the intent of finishing what they once started, now that all the elder races have died off. They entered this time once more by a wormhole which a nation of human separatists opened.

The Xeno Queen
Name/Alias: The Xeno Queen

Gender: Not Applicable

Age: ~500 years

Species: Xeno

Appearance:

Backstory: The Xeno Queen was the result of co-evolution between the xenoes and the planet itself and a nuclear accident which was part of a failed attempt to purge the xenoes in a distant galaxy. One sub-species of the xenoes evolved to bury themselves under the ground to better catch is potential host unaware. The nuclear explosion caused mutations in the xeno. The result is a giant, sentient xeno with the ability to act as a hivemind for the xenoes.

Powers and Abilities: The Xeno Queen is a hive mind which has a permanent mental link with all xenoes in its command range, which covers a whole galaxy. As such, there needs to be one Xeno Queen in each galaxy for the Gare to be effective.

Nation Name: The Holy Nitomian Empire (Nitom/Nitomian empire)

Lore: Ethan M Holstings X is the Emperor of the Nitomian empire. The majority of the empire during this time period is in two other galaxies. The milky way galaxy garrison is mostly made up of Orion class heavy cruisers and a very small number of ground forces that will be given in more detail later.

The Holy Nitomian Empire is extremely imperialistic. However, they will not simply start a fight unless you have something that they want/need. Diplomacy is open but usually total surrender and annexation is the first demand that they give. Space warfare is a specialty for Nitom as they usually do not engage in troop on troop combat but are still well trained to do so. That being said they will not have many battle hardened veterans of ground combat.

Size: Three solar systems with a total of fifteen planets spread among them. Roughly around thirty billion civilians, four billion soldiers, and twenty-five ships make up the Nitomian element in this galaxy.

Military Base: 4 HRC-90 Orion-class Heavy Cruisers, 15 LRC-X Perseus-class Light Cruisers, 1 SD-3 Socrates-class Dreadnought, 5 A66 Magnetic Acceleration Cannon Platforms.

Military Branches: Imperial Navy and Imperial Army

Other Stuff: Majority of the time you will only find one or two ships patrolling an area or going somewhere to make it fair. The only way the fight would be unfair is if you went one on one with my Socrates dreadnought.

Name/Alias: Nile Canaan

Gender: Male

Age: 200

Species: Terran Human

Appearance:
Image

Backstory:
Born as the heir of Canaan Industries, Nile was groomed and educated to takeover the lucrative mining operations his father and forefathers built and maintained for years since the Terran Uplift. Sadly, there was not much to improve on or advance in the way of asteroid or planet mining that would be absolutely groundbreaking, and Nile's passion was in the resiliency of the human body. Meeting with workers and learning their first hand experiences in adapting to the harsh climate and dangerous job before that strengthened his passion and curiosity.

Taking loans from his father, Nile began to construct research labs and conduct exploratory missions to far-flung human colonies, intending to gather data from the adaptive nature of the human body. Prying into the DNA and making edits to the genome, Nile began a biological revolution heralded by Canaan Industries, to the point that his research division was pulling in more money than the mining and shipbuilding operations - the gene editing becoming both a fashion craze and a biological next-step. On the eve of his fathers' death, Nile was hard at work trying to stall the old man's demise, but his body just gave out, living to the ripe old age of one hundred and fifteen Terran Years. That failure pushed Nile to develop and synthesize a means of cellular immortality, creating immortal plants, animals, and finally, humans.

Nile was no saint and the immortality treatment was nothing short of cripplingly expensive for anyone except the ultra-rich. After a few successful sales, Nile discontinued the treatment in order to further research and cheapen the procedure - to the point that even laborers could afford to become immortal. Around this time, Nile began Narcissus - An agency of Canaan Industries to perfect cheap, affordable cloning in secret. The enterprise was controversial when it's successes were realized, as cheap human and robot labor were suddenly undercut by cheap, mass-produced humanoid clones. A series of laws came into effect at the behest of several labor unions, AI firms, and robotic industrialists to limit the cloning process.

Rather than abide by the laws, Nile broke apart Canaan Industries and took his equipment, along with several colony ships, to a far, unclaimed and lawless corner of the Milky Way Galaxy. He was not seen for fifty-odd years until trade networks were established in the region - revealing to the galaxy that Nile Canaan had created an impressive interstellar empire built on the back of cloning, shipbuilding, organic manipulation, and raw resource acquisition - using designs and materials from the now defunct Canaan Industries to bolster Narcissus. Based on a habitable world arrogantly named Olympus by Nile, the clone collective is known as the Canaanites and the planets and worlds they inhabit are known as the Narcissines. Nile himself calls the regions he lords over the Olympian Empire.

Powers and Abilities: All abilities are derived through Biological Manipulation:

Weaknesses: Clone Degradation: Any clone of Nile Canaan will suffer from the breakdown and eventual death of their cells, but is constantly thwarted by a synthetic enzyme known as IXL that halts and reverses the process momentarily, allowing for cellular regeneration to overtake the role of the dying cell. The Canaanite can last for a decent time between injections of the enzyme, but when forced to regenerate from grievous wounds or constantly, they will need immediate injections of the compound or have death "catch up" to them in a sense.

Arrogance: Nile champions himself as the savior of mankind, the single-authority that will keep humanity in the stars for billions of years to come with his technology and organization. He wants to be the smartest man in the room wherever he goes, and tends to look like a jackass in the process.

Xenophobia: Canaan actively dislikes non-Human aliens, and makes incredibly disparaging comments in regard to those species whenever applicable. He seems them as lesser beings than humanity, and even though he has ample scores of alien genotypes in research and in storage, he is confident that he has yet to find an interstellar race with half as much potential as mankind. He's not scared of them, he just hates them rigorously.

Standard Equipment: An imperial yacht, regalia/clothing, IXL injectors, no less than two clones of himself at all times.

Intelligence: Already a highly gifted mind, Nile has genetically engineered his own mental state and neural interactions to exponentially increase his intelligence - He is the smartest man humanity has to offer because he has reached the evolutionary end-game with his genome.

Optional stuff.

Theme Song: Siegfried

Random Facts:
  • One of the richest men in the Galaxy, with trillions upon trillions of personal wealth and mobile assets across a multitude of star systems and regions.

Nation Name: Olympian Empire | The Canaanites

Lore:
The dominion formed under Nile Canaan following his self-exile from the Terran realms, the mixture of scientists, workers, and technology prospered in isolation from the rest of humankind as Nile gained political authority across an uncharted region of space in the Inner Core. Starting from a human-habitable world known as Olympus, the Narcissus Corporation spread across twelve systems known as the Narcissines, installing Dyson Spheres to collect stellar energy and beginning extensive mining operations across several resource belts and desolate planets, all fueling the immense clone farms on Olympus.

Rapid expansion warranted more clones, of Nile and of many of his subordinates, taking their best traits and amplifying them greatly in order to snowball the progress they were seeing. Forming clone labs on the initial twelve systems population hubs, an interstellar empire was born in under fifty Terran Years under Nile Canaan direction, eventually moving out of the Narcissus umbrella and fully embracing political power and domination as an Emperor, calling his entity the Olympian Empire, his population calling themselves "Olympian Human" in contrast to Terran Human, but remaining a distinct political entity from the rest of humanity. Civilians and vote-eligible clones express their political power withing the Starways Congress, a legislative body subservient to the Olympian Emperor and representing the Twelve Narcissine Systems, and marginally representing the Colonies.

Size:
  • Total Civilian Population: 590,118,205 | Clones: 17,150,000,000
  • Total Military Population: 200,500,000 Active Clones, 1,000,000,000+ Reserve Clones
  • 12 "Core" Star Systems, 15 Colonial/Expeditionary Systems, 20 Additional Systems claimed

Military Base: Clones are the main military component within Imperial Olympus, with their leaders taken from a pool of civilians with exceptional leadership qualities, cloned, and undertaking the roles with those qualities enhanced. Soldiers follow orders as needed, free will marginally exists within clones based on their combat role. At maximum production, the Empire can feasibly create half a billion clones per day, complete with flash learning and fully mature, and arm close to five billion at once with current inventories in short notice.

Military Branches:
  • Imperial Fleet Command: Responsible for the organization, construction, and upkeep of the Imperial Battle Fleets, which protect the starways between the Core Stars and Colony Stars, as well as scouting for new stars and the mapping of star ways. Partnered with the Imperial Trade Command facilitate ease of travel between the systems, and superior over most Commands due to their importance towards space travel. While nothing to brag about technologically, the Battle Fleets are large, well-trained, and easily replaceable by galactic standards owing to the Olympian's mass production capabilities.
  • Imperial Surface Command: Responsible for the land and planet-based logistics of the Fleet, the IPC directs soldiers and armed movements on the surface of friendly and foreign worlds. Utilizes the Mobile Infantry, clone soldiers who rapidly respond to planetary threats from orbit by slamming into the surface. Their combat effectiveness was proven in the Colonial Insurrection on Ava Mons, along with continued fire support by FleetCom. Armed with the "biologically perfect" soldiers and their technological quality, SurCom and their Clone Army is a feared component of the Olympian War Machine.
  • Various other branches, all overseen by Imperial High Command, consisting of Nile Canaan and his cloned military elite.

Name: The Fisnik Clan

Leader: Director Mesi & Council of Elders

Faction Size: 1 Billion Autoktons citizens
- Military encompases 1 million members

Ruaj Military
  • Robotic Defense Initiative (RDI)
This sect of the Ruaj is comprised of technicians and robotic life, they run similar to humans use of batteries and thus can be combustible. A result of this is their final directive to charge the enemy once nearing over 90% damage retention. While their prime directive is to detain rather than kill, making them a wild card in actual battles but essential in more basic security measures that don't involve large battlefields or the like
    - 500,000 Units
    - Seen Here
  • Orbital Stations
These stations while classified under the Ruaj are the primary fuel and resource stations for ships and containment of foreign life. The orbital stations remain in orbit of the planet currently being researched and do not move unless given the directive to by the I urtë.
    - 2 Active
  • Capital Ships & Fighters
Ships are primarily used for transport and grant military prowess but are maintained by the RDI

Tech Level: Advanced technology is primarily used for medicine and research on their citadels, while peaceful they do have technology that could be far more heavily weaponized in the hands of another race or populace.

Background: Under the elders and director Mesi, the Fisnik Clan has thrived in their efforts. While primarily focusing on production of medical equipment and other drugs, they serve as a research vessel, wanting to find and extract non fully sentient species for their own. These projects take decades some times to complete due to careful manipulation of soil, feeding sources, and other variables to protect these lives. The Fisnik have never fully come in contact with humans, but both parties are no doubt aware of the others existence due to relative proximity. The clan has been desperately wanting to study the human race, it's storied history and own non-sentients but has yet to make this effort due to conflicting council views.

The government of the clan is an old system that has been unaffected by in fighting or wars. The Council of Elders comprises 7 members, the Director technically serving as one, and the others being members with a past in command of the population, military, or other scientific disciplines recognized by the clan. Over all of these members serves the aforementioned director, often serving for life, this position is responsible for delivery of council decisions and negotiations with foreign beings. The Director is traditionally a male but no laws recognize this, it has merely been precedent for the past hundred years or more.

Race name: Autokton

Race standard/average appearance:
Autokton are genetically modified from the ancestor race of Lokal.
Average height - 6 feet / 182.88 cm
Cybernetic enhancements are common after ten years
Appearance Here

Race Specific abilities: Autokton possess higher intellect than most races, but lack physical capabilities causing them to become weak in what humans consider middle age. This makes it necessary for Autokton to use cybernetic implants and enhancements that render them more robotic like.

Homeworld name: Shtëpi

Lore:
History
Thousands of years ago the Lokal inhabited the wild and ravaged planet of shtëpi, known for its dangerous lifeforms and even more ravenous were the native populace. The natives first worked with the Lokal and sheltered them, aiding them in every way. It was not long before these people began to integrate, becoming one species known as the Kton. Over years of development, both societal and innovative the kton formed the Grand Council. These group of three members elected every year ruled over the kton for years, pushing the innovation and rewarding the smartest and most inventive of members of the population. This rule pushed down on others, rewarding solely on merit but ultimately made for a better society. Fast forward hundreds of more years of the Grand Council and great minds at the top the Kton had to address an issue bigger than any of them; health. The Kton species were a weak one naturally, needing to improve, though they had been able to prolong life through medicine, it became too pricey and time consuming to mass produce a single life saving drug. Though un-ailed by corporations to sway price and distribution it became a campaign to "Automate" the race, to improve it beyond natural capabilities. The Grand Council was firmly against this, believing the natural gifts of the race should not be tampered with by any means. The growing opposition formed a group known as Fisnik Renewers, a group who believed in the grand heritage of their race but wanted this medical advancement to be the focal point of the government. The Grand Council vehemently disavowed the groups legitimacy but the public was growing closer and closer to their sentiments putting the council in an odd position of being anti-life yet pro-choice. In the annual election of The Grand Council, Fisnik members swept the boards and with nearly 80% public support reformed the government in major ways. The Council was dissolved in power and lengthened in term while a lifelong leader was created known as the Director who was often a former council member.

The new nation was the Fisnik Clan, promoting life and one another. Time and resources were devoted to the Life Project, a program that created everything from suits of armor to the new army of robotic soldiers that still protect the nation. The program was a success and one so transformative over the years it ran that in decades since the race became more than Kton, but Autokton. Now the race is engaged in Life 2.0, a program that is searching for other life forms to better and advance but is focusing primarily on the non-sentient as they are easier to negotiate and never lie.

Practices & Culture
Autokton don't have a shared history of religions and thus celebrate milestones in their national history, and thus hold festivals and holidays like many species. Overall they have lives similar to humans, loving food and entertainment but differ in their strong love of technological advancement regardless of comfort or resources. This goes so far as to even put things like military on the backburner should it mean higher qualities of life and education.
- Grand Day -
Celebrated every year, this celebrates the achievements of the former ruling Grand Council. Statues on the home planet commemorate the first founders and is where the festival is held annually.

Name/Alias: Gendrik the Great

Gender: currently male

Age: 100,000 years old

Species: Binko - currently a kyrusian

Appearance(Pics are recommended!): Kyrusian

Is actually a worm like creature

Backstory: Gendrik was born over 100,000 years ago on the moon called Binko. It was the home moon of the Binko species - a symbiotic worm race, which would latch onto the spinal cords of vertebrate animals, and would either control or aid their bodies. The Binko had, by this time, colonized their entire solar system wit the help of their symbiotic partners. Gendrik, as was most of his species, delegated to a more technical purpose of helping to man the infustrcture of the Binko Empire. He was put in charge of helping to man the breeding farms deep in the mantle of Binko. His was a simple and straight forward existence for around the first 15,000 years of his life; this was ruined however when the star of the Binko home solar system suddenly and unexpectedly went super nova, killing all life on every planet and moon in the solar system. Gendrik, having been under ground at the time, was not harmed, but rather went into a state of hibernation. He would awake 84,000 years later to find his entire species and their symbiotic partners dead. All except for him, and a single egg, containing hundreds of thousands of hibernating newborn Binko. He would wait on the runined moon that once was his home moon for over a 1,000 years until a passing ship of Jentri landed there. Seizing the opportunity, Gendrik took over the mind of one of the Jentri and escaped the ruined moon with the egg. He plans on reviving his species and it's empire.

Powers and Abilities(If any): Immortal, can merge with any vertebrate creature, can grant said creature's body with immortality, can vastly increase it's strength, speed, health, and flexibility; can see perfectly in the dark, can survive in freezing temperatures.

Weaknesses: The Binko worm itself is incredibly week... and he is alone....

Standard Equipment: A space faring space ship, a wrist mounted scanner/laser, an egg containing 200,000 Binko babies, and a combat staff

Intelligence(Describe it): Full grown Binko are similar to humans in their conscious thought, yet their reaction times to problems is remarkable. Upon the identification of a new problem, the average Binko can postulate a solution of nearly any level of complexity to solve it. This is believed to be possible, due to the fact that Binko must link to other vertebrate species - and with each species possessing it's own problems, the Binko must be able to react quickly. To put this into perspective, if your car suddenly broke down, the Binko could find out a way to fix it ( no matter how unorthodox a method ) with in an hour or less.

Optional stuff. The youngling Binko are only semi-conscious, meaning that they can latch onto a host, but they cannot take over their mind. This is a trait which only comes into being upon reaching adulthood ( about 10,000 years ).

Theme song:

Random Facts about your character: Is the only fully grown Binko still in existence.

Race name: Binko

Race standard/average appearance: A pale white worm species

Race Specific abilities: Can merge with any vertebrate creature in a symbiotic relationship. Said symbiotic relationship gives the Binko a safe and bountiful home to inhabit, in exchange for granting it's partner increased strength, speed, recovery time, immortality, and flexibility. The older Binko can even take full control of a being.

Homeworld name: Binko

Lore: The former Binko Empire was wipped out 85,000 thousand years ago. The only remaining mature Binko is Gendrik the Great, whom is care of the final Binko egg. His quest, reestablish the Binko race and Empire.

Alive: Leah Lockjaw, Thom (NPC), Freighter Captain (NPC)
Dead: None
Other: Nothing ATM

Race name: Guardians

Race standard/average appearance: Here

Race Specific abilities:
  • Artificial Intelligence: The "Mind" of a single Guardian is equivalent to a Supercomputer, and, therefore, its capable of making decisive battle calculations on its own. While a Guardian is usually programmed to have a set objective, it is capable of "learning" from its mistakes, and, most notably, "Learning" from enemy attacks. If it goes into battle against an Enemy with a Rocket launcher, it might come back and combine with more Guardians to improve the defense, or learn how to dodge rockets themselves.
  • Defense Mechanisms: A Guardian is equipped with a golden "Hex" energy shield, focused around the three "Booms" that hover around the main "eye" of the guardian. These three booms are capable of changing position for various purposes, and rapidly "pop" into place to form a triangular plane when the Guardian's shields are active. Speaking of Shields, the Guardians's shields, golden energy shields, are built to block high velocity projectile and other energy weapons, and those only. For some reason, however, it is uncapable of blocking slow-moving projectiles. Prolonged exposure to damage can eventually collapse the shield.
  • Offensive Mechanisms: A Guardian's primary utility tool, which is also its main offensive weapon, is its large "eye" in the center of its main body. The eye, which normally releases a white beam of some sort of "zero-point energy" capable of lifting objects, is capable of firing a devastating, focused golden wave of energy that is meant solely for destroying other things. The beam, if combined in conjunction with other Guardians, is one of the strongest weapons in the Guardian arsenal, and is capable of vaporizing, if not, obliterating foes. It, however, takes a rather long time to charge up, leaving it open to damage. The beam is capable of being reflected, or even blocked, by some attacks.
  • Adaptive Clusters: As stated before, a Guardian is constantly transmitting data to improve its fighting capability, to a central Artificial intelligence. This allows multiple Guardians to upgrade combat algorithms and come back to fights even stronger, effectively making it able to "learn" how to fight properly.
  • Combining: Guardians are capable of merging themselves, or, combining with one another, to improve their combat strength. While they actually aren't capable of physically merging, they are able to be connected like Geometric shapes, with two "eyes" in the center while the "Booms" hover around in various positions. This means Guardians are capable of forming tight attack clusters, in order to deal with varying threats. In some instances, Guardians are capable of "Transforming" into different constructs, such as Aircraft, in order to deal with various threats.
  • Mobility: A Guardian is propelled through the air by something known as "Anti-gravity vector-assisted flight", and is capable of flying at very high speeds. When combined into "aircraft" or other known constructs, Guardians are known to fly at escape velocity and are capable of reaching orbit.

Race Weaknesses: Despite technological advancements, a Guardian still falls under the ages old limitation of being a Glass cannon. In other words, they're capable of dishing out loads of damage, especially when combined, but, without shields, It can take a good few bullets (or a good punch if you're into that) to take down a Guardian. For some reason, Guardian programming prohibits it from blocking projectiles from three different places at once, let alone two. Therefore, multiple people attacking a Guardian can be a pain, if its being shot at in two different places at once.

Guardians are in no way invincible, and the shields are capable of easily being drained by prolonged exposure to damage. The best way to take them on is individually with heavy weaponry, such as space battles. Also, for unknown reasons, a Guardian's shields only block projectiles with high velocities, meaning a thrown object like a rock or grenade can take one down. Prolonged exposure to ballistic damage can drain a shield and collapse it, in which it takes a long time for the shield to recharge. Energy weapons can drain shields at twice the speed as regular ballistics, and EMP weaponry can instantly drain shields.

Since they all fall under Foundry's collective artificial intelligence, a Guardian is susceptible to hacking, though, due to the advanced programming, it's just as good as a temporary EMP.

Homeworld name: Foundry. Foundry is a "Shield World" Orbiting a yellow sun named LKV-8293 at a distance almost identical to Earth. Therefore, it experiences, on the Galactic scale, somewhat perfect conditions for life. To hide the Guardian Manufacturing Installation on Foundry's northern pole, native life from the neighboring (now non-existent) moon, LKV-8293-A was migrated to Foundry and allowed to develop, in order to deter travelers from the site. Further analysis shows that 90% of the actual planet of Foundry's megastructure is comprised of Guardians.

Lore: How do you stop an all-consuming alien plague that destroys everything in its path and reanimates the dead?

This was the question that faced the Progenitors, a highly advanced ancient race of aliens originating from another Galaxy. The war with the "Plague" was far from over, and, from the looks of it, the Progenitors weren't gonna win. As world after world and System after System fell to the all-pervasive threat, the ages-old question arose once more, prompting the Progenitors to go to the drawing block to come up with a new plan.

As the question stated, How were they gonna stop an all-consuming alien plague that destroyed everything in its path? The answer? Robots. If that didn't work, More robots.

"Shield worlds" Like Foundry became Progenitor safe havens for life in the Galaxy, free to prosper and develop without the threat of the plague killing them all. The Progenitors's new robot buddies had done an excellent job in securing these Artificial planets, yet, remained completley hidden to the native life which grew up under the godly gaze of the towering Guardian manufacturing facilities. Producing hundreds of Guardians per day, these robots helped not only build the planet, but keep it safe, combining together to fend off one of the largest plague attacks the Progenitors had ever seen. With the plague free from their Shield Worlds, the Progenitors rested easy as they defeated the Plague once and for all, therefore winning the long war.

However, they themselves were unable to cope with the massive amounts of death, combined with the after effects of fighting the disease. After cleaning house, the Progenitors decided to close shop, if the metaphor makes sense, and simply vanished from the world as we know it completely. Some blamed transcendence, others suspected mass-suicide to prevent the spread of the plague. What was certain, though was that the Guardians were still there, watching over their creators' worlds with a safe eye, ready to spring forth should the unexpected happen.

For hundreds of years, the Guardians protected installations like Foundry which allowed the Progenitor legacy to live on. Ships which were unfortunate enough to land on Foundry in hopes of capitalizing off the natives or gaining ancient treasures soon went off the grid, and, soon, Foundry became a legend, and those brave enough to uncover its secrets ventured to the lonely system, only to never return.

This was, of course, until recently, where a certain freighter was spotted near Foundry...

Name/Alias: Leah Lockjaw (thanks Neros)

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Species: Vulpan

Appearance: Here
The Golden Fox

Backstory: The daughter of a legendary Mercenary pilot, Leah's past was not as nice as others, it seemed. Her home world, Arcadia, had just fended itself from a sudden alien blitz, leading to the rise of private fighters - more specifically, specialized space flying Aces. Leah's father was the leader of one such team, which was unfortunate to be disbanded after a member double-crossed him and killed him.

Now widowed, Leah's mother wanted to keep her out of the field and away from anything that had the words "space" and "fighting" mixed into it. However, inspired by his father's heroic deeds and legacy, Leah became dedicated to the craft, so dedicated, in fact, that she amputated her own legs, just like her father, and replaced them with prosthetic cybernetic legs. That way she wouldn't pass out while flying at high speeds and at high G-forces, as gravity would force the blood into her lower body.

After graduating top of her class in the Arcadian flight school, the now ace pilot Leah moved on to mercenary work, where she soon joined the ranks of a ragtag group of mercenaries - the Ruff Riders (get it?). Unfortunately, the Riders disbanded following a raid by an alien Mercenary group, to which most of the members perished. However, the battle was not lost, as all of the attackers were defeated - their tech, salvaged by Leah. As the group went their separate ways, Leah instead used the attack to improve her skill and, mostly, her arsenal, in order to improve her mercenary work. She built the Golden Fox and, after raiding rival pirates and merchants on paid missions, used the money to improve her ship, and her Arsenal of high tech gadgets. If that wasn't enough, the reverse-engineered technology from the aliens allowed the Golden Fox to compete against threats on higher levels of its own, such as aliens and larger ships.

It seemed that Leah's life was going on a turn for the good - for her, at least. She may have had a hit out on her by galactic bounty hunters for a lot of money, but that didn't matter now. She had a good source of income: guarding freighters and taking down bandits, but, that would all change now. Her skills would actually be put to the test, when she was assigned to guard a certain freighter and its cargo.....

Powers and Abilities:
  • Vulpan Physiology - Arcadia is a world of similar conditions to earth - its inhabitants are anthropomorphic mammalian creatures of varying canine species, including foxes, wolves, and the like. Vulpans are naturally faster, stronger, and more agile than their human counterparts, and have grown accustomed to the idea of space combat and the like.
    • Enhanced Agility - Leah's agility is superhuman compared to a human, giving her a faster response time among others, but also increasing her speed. This is also in part to her bionic legs.
    • Enhanced Senses - A Vulpan's senses, especially its smell, is twice as better as a human's.
    • Enhanced Speed - Self-explanatory
  • Engineering/Mechanical Intuition - Leah is a naturally gifted engineer with a talent of making things. This is evident in how she was able to make the Golden fox almost entirely by scratch. Leah is capable of, after assessing technology, modifying it for her use, among other things. She was able to reverse-engineer alien technology for her own ship and equipment before while others would have spent months studying it.
  • Bionic Legs - While not necessarily so much of a power, Leah's bionic legs are an impressive feat of engineering, but have a real meaning behind them. While gravity tends to send blood away from the brain and towards the lower extremities while in high speed flight, bionic legs, the legs, however, keep blood in the brain and thus prevent a pilot from passing out. Leah's bionic legs provide her kicks with more strength, and greatly imrove her speed and agility, as well as, quite obviously, her jump. More on her legs later. The legs begin below her knees, and are bio-mechanical in nature.
  • Enhanced Marksmanship - Self-explanatory.
  • Pilot Training - Leah is a skilled pilot not naturally, but thanks to years of dedication and training. The Golden fox is primarily her main ship, but, should she need be, she is capable of taking up arms in another ship any time.

Weaknesses:
  • Leah falls succeptible to the terrible trio of doom: unwanted pathogens/mutagens, toxins/poisons, and psionics.
  • While she can regulate her body temperature, Leah cannot sweat, and, thus, finds it hard to fight in hot climates.
  • Leah is capable of being killed just like any other human, and has no other special super powers besides her physiology.
  • Leah's weaponry can sometimes backfire on her, especially her Vector Diffusers. Speaking of which, the Vector diffusers have enough power for only doing one thing at a time, and cannot support doing multiple things at once, else it overload.
  • The Gold Fox has no shields unless it's Vector Diffuser labels are open, and thus is vulnerable to damage if it is not up.
  • FTL speed devours her ship's fuel - Hydrogen. As such it is only used in worst case scenarios, and when she actually can't afford just to use the impulse thrusters. Using the Hyperdrive is different, however...

Standard Equipment: This list is not complete. As the story progresses this may increase in size.
Equipment on Hand

  • Blaster: Your average everyday blaster. The perfect sidearm for mercs and pirates, it's capable of firing bolts of energy in quick succession at a target. Those with good trigger fingers can almost fire it like a machine gun. While it needs no ammo, it runs on a recharging battery, and it will automatically activate failsafes to prevent the gun's use when overheating happens.
  • Ion Rifle: For bigger targets, a less portable but more powerful weapon Leah has in her Arsenal is the so-called Bolt rifle. Reverse engineered from alien concepts, the bolt rifle is obviously larger than the Blaster, but is pinpoint accurate and packs a bigger punch. It fires ionized particles as projectiles for excellent accuracy, power, and range. It is capable of being charged, but it too runs on a battery, and rapid fire is not recommended.
  • Scanner: An eyepiece with a heads up display linked to her weapons, the scanner is capable of assessing targets at a safe distance, and worlds almost in conjunction with target designating by sight while onboard the Golden Fox.
  • Vector Diffuser - Portable: A vector diffuser is a piece of technology that drastically improves the mobility of the user by altering his or her's surrounding gravity, and magnitude/direction (vector) of travel. This means that, even in a vacuum without any form of maneuvering thrusters, the Golden Fox is capable of moving as agile as a supermaneuverable fighter, or better. In its portable form, the Vector Diffuser is capable of modifying Leah's vector, and can alter her gravity and inertia to pull off feats that, to be honest, are physically impossible. The technology the Vector Diffuser uses as of now is unknown, but it is capable of a variety of things.
By increasing the vector of a user, the user is capable of moving faster in any direction of their choosing, therefore increasing their speed. Leah uses a "Dash attack", where she temporarily increases her speed for a forward, slashing dash attack with her legs. For aerial attacks Leah can gain a height advantage in her enemies by altering her own gravity, but this is not flight. The Vector Diffuser's special functions are usually activated by swiping ones palm over the device.

Shipboard Equipment

  • The Golden Fox: The Golden Fox is Leah's primary weapon, as well as her primary means of transportation. Classified as a long-range fighter, it uses experimental Vector Diffuser technology to provide it with unmatched mobility, speed, and agility. A list of weapons are below.
    • Type 1X Laser Cannons: These are two dual, wing-mounted beam cannons which are fast firing, but can overheat. They can tear through unshielded targets quickly, but, for shielded targets, the shot is capable of being charged, where it is then diverted to the frontal beam cannon, and exits through the front of the ship. A charged shot takes a while to charge, and requires a lock on, but is much more powerful than regular shots, and tracks targets in the fashion of a missile.
    • "Cobra" Turret: Situated at the front of the ship, the Cobra turret is good for ground assault, as well as for bombing. It is equipped with a long range camera with various vision modes, and also is equipped with a target designator, similar to her eyepiece's scanner. This allows it to designate its own targets to hit, rather than relying on outside designation sources. But what kind of bomb is used on a ship like this, you ask? Well, it's not really a bomb but...
    • AIM-403 ASRAAM Missile: Nothing is safe from an aptly named ASRAAM missile. Give it a lock, and it'll pursue the target relentlessly. Results are explosive.
  • Vector Diffusers: As stated before, vector diffusers increase the mobility of the Golden Fox greatly by dampening the forces of gravity, and inertia on it, as well as altering the forces. Thus, making it capable to move through space like a super maneuverable fighter jet, and allowing it to hover, and stop on a dime. The Vector Diffusers mounted on the ship often vent heat in the form of radiator panels, as they heat up over time.

Intelligence: As a skilled mechanic, pilot, and engineer, Leah is rather intelligent, but still is able to make common mistakes and miscalculations. Since she's skilled in so many fields, she obviously applies them to her piloting, and is considered an ace not by her firepower, but by her intelligence.
Engineering-wise, Leah is a talented and gifted engineer, evident in how she was able to reverse-engineer alien technology to be put in her arsenal, both at hand and on the Golden Fox. Leah's smart enough to make calculations quickly, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're always right...

Optional stuff.

Theme song: Yes - Starship Trooper

Random Facts about your character: Owns a Galactic Social Media account. Leah is trained in hand to hand combat, CQC, gunfighting, and some mixed martial arts.

Nation Name: The Dummies

Lore: Sometime between the years 2000-2300 a humanoid race similar to the Humans created the Dummies for lethal experiments and training for troops. The main Dummy Militaru CPUs were allowed to develop sentience for better training missions, however this came at a price. Dummy units eould often try to escape their jobs, sometimes inflicting large casualties before being killed. The Creators put in a control system, which was ahain disabled during live fire training. Eventually a Dummy CPU found a way to escape this programing, and escaped with a few units on a dropship.

The dropship was fired upon by Creator ships in Orbit, but escaped to xrash land on a barren world a few systems away. The Dummy CPU, loaded with schematics to ships, units, and weaponry began to mine for raw materials using its few units, and set up a small factory underground. When the creators came to eliminate the rouge Dummies they were repelled by the increased Dummy numbers. After several more battles the Creators left, and the Dummies began to build a 'Colony Ship' loaded with materials to establish themselves on another world. They traveled across the Galaxy, occasionaly mining asteroids along the way, until they landed at a rescourse rich world far from any sentient life, and established themselves.

Size: 40 Systems controlled, 65 Being assesed for future value (for this RP),
400 Billion Troops, there are no civillians other than maybe the Controller AIs. Each planet controlled is a military base and factory. Each world has 10 Billion Dummies on it.
Military Base: Regular Dummies, check Factbooks.

Military Branches: Space Navy, Army, Intelligence. All controlled by AIs that answer only to Central

Other Stuff: Mass Produxtion enables large numbers of Dummies to be produced. Regular Dummies are weak, but always come in large numbers.
