[DRAFT] Liberate Vanet

Postby New Dukaine » Sat Jul 23, 2016 12:56 pm

Before I start, this does have native support, so just hold with me. I have invited the native delegate, Mercedini, to participate in the thread.

The Security Council,

Looking at the peaceful region of Vanet, that has been recently invaded by the region of Firehelm;

Noting that the new invader delegate has over eighteen endorsements, and poses a high risk to the region of Vanet, because the delegate could password the region at any given time, or even, refound the region;

Recognizing that Vanet has been a peaceful place for people to gather and talk, but this peace has been interrupted by Firehelm, and that Vanet is now at risk of being destroyed,

With this said, hereby liberates Vanet.

If there are R4s in here, please point them out, I would like to get this in the queue in the next 1 to 2 days

This is what everyone said about alliance against nazis, and it still past.

There is a high chance of this region being passcoded in the next week.

After looking at the delegate's influence levels (about 42), endorsement count (19) and region size (72), I find that analysis a bit off. I'd give it 2 weeks, see if a liberation occurs, then come back to this.

A couple of suggested changes to the text highlighted. Personally I believe the risk of passwording and refounding is low at the moment - the Delegate doesn't currently have the influence.

They have been invaded by a very aggressive invader group, and I am very afraid that they might attempt a refound.

I will wait a couple more days and see how it goes, then do what I think is safe to do with this proposal.

Until we see any sign of intent from Firehelm to purge, I don't harbor much support for this. Given how long it would take them to establish a password, there's a decent amount of time between those indicators and a password to pass a pre-emptive liberation, so there's no harm in waiting on them. Until then, there's a lot of natives in that region and they should be cross-endorsing on their delegate to maximize their own native endorsement count and influence so as to give more chance of an update liberation.

You fail to understand my question. I am not asking what could happen to the region, I'm asking why anyone should care.

This is a good question.

Osiris supports our fellow raiders in their occupation of Vanet and will be voting against, should this reach a vote.

Same thing. There is no scenario in which Firehelm locks the region and then manages to refound it before a Liberation has time to be passed.
