New Konigsenberg D.R. Declares Sovereignty

Hello and Welcome to my first RP as a nation. Here in this opening post for the OOC I'll cover some basics and I'll tell you a bit about my country.

1. This is a Modern Tech to Early Post Modern Tech, so small improvements on the standard I'm not expecting weaponized satalites and rail guns here.

2. I'm going to say the same think that is normally said in one of these types of RP's No God Mod, No Meta Game, No Teleporting, No One-Liners Etc. Etc.

3. This is a Diplomatic Rp to start We will discuss in here if it should turn into a conflict( If you guys want that let me know, I got it all set up already just finishing the map).

4. My Word is Law, Three Strikes your out. People make mistakes but I'm able to forgive them if they care to fix their mistakes.

Lastly, Just have fun and don't ruin it for everyone else.

Democratic Republic of New Konigsenberg.

Now New Konigsenberg is a Direct Democracy. This government is a Materialistic form of democracy (Capitalist), where citizens use computer networks to vote directly on most matters regarding the Republic as a whole.

This type of government throws aside the "outdated notions of morality" and there is no "divine spark" granting special value to a living mind in comparison to one that is made of silicon. This makes the people efficient with most things they set their mind to, so creation of items like Virtual Intelligences and items just out of our reach now because of the moral judgment that has to be made with those things are cast aside with this government. This government has tossed aside "childish things" like Gods Spirits and Other Phantasms of the brain but have not outlawed it. It is just now no longer apart of government proceedings.

They do follow however the unflinching pursuit of science and technology, and the next generation of the "Force of Arms" principle. So the country has focused first on advancements in its own technology and secondly is right to protect it's sovereignty through "Force of arms". This creates the Militaristic and Scientific following throughout the country.


I think that is enough information to get you guys started i'm going to work on the OP of the In-Character section of this role-play thanks for showing interest thus far. If this turns into a conflict I will add more requirements on you guys to make sure this is fun for everyone.

Okay... now I warned you at the beginning, No God modding, and these little snippets are no helping the story along.

I've explained that I was secluded country, that I developed without anyone setting foot on my nations soil and your continuing with your... whatever that is. Your not adding to the story also I've also said my country has little to no interactions with others the most you can do is look at me through a satellite. If you wish to spy, then show me how you are doing it. I said from the beginning no god mod no meta gaming.


I could totally see how you could do it. doesn't mean i'm going to just let you do it. I want you to RP a spy landing in my country get past all those defense that would stop a foreign spy entering my country and place those microphones in that room so you can hear what I said. I would enjoy RP that. And it will help you improve on your RPing skills to something more than five lines of text. I'm all for it dude, you just have to commit as well. But hey if you want to use what you said as reasoning to get all pissed at me go look at the Welcome to International Incidents I'm sure there is something in there to assist you. Also i'm more than willing to help you do that so we can all have fun here not just you God Modding and Meta Gaming.

In Short, If you say you could hear what my characters said in that room one of the most secure rooms in my country I invite you to show me how you did it.

However 2 little facts that are going to make it impossible for you to do that

1. We have not allowed any foregin person come ashore, or information for that mater. So no physical internet hook up, no boats arriving in port (other than the trading ships that trade at sea with other ships that agree to my terms).

2. The people, since they are so comfortable with everyone else if someone even looks different or acts different would raise alarm bells, and with my country being recluse it makes it very easy to spot foreigners.

So your spy would have to have the uncanny ability to blend in sneak into the most secure place in my country and sneak out or tap into my countrys phone network within my country.
