What is humanity's greatest achievement?

Humanity is in a dark and uncertain period of time.

Terrorists attacks happen often, Brexit has lead the world's economy into uncharted territory (whether or not it's damages are long term is debatable for another thread) , And North Korea continues
to be a threat to world peace.

It is in times like theses that we take a step back and look at what we have done as a species and debate what is the greatest what we have done on this planet. (or in the space around it)

My vote for greatest achievement is for water slides.

We take something we need for life to exist and use it to make an awesome ride.
