OOC
So! Hi! Welcome to the thread! Before you begin posting, I highly reccommend that you first read the OOC thread (which can be found here) so you can make an application and get all signed up! Now, with that out of the way..

IC
The universe began as a vast expanse of nothingness. There was no black void, for black in itself did not even exist. It's something that is hard for a mortal mind to wrap around, but then again, the first beings were not mortal. In the never ending nothingness, there was a bright orb, a collection of a fine gold powder which was no larger than an eyeball. For reasons unknown, this ball orb, and the powder, heavily condensed within it, was blown across all corners of this new existence. The process was a long one, it took years, centuries, millenia, a period of time so long that even beings of immortality would find themselves long since withered away. Yet, whenever this dust managed to group up within the infantile void of space, it created something miraculous. A god.

Not just any god, but a wise, sagely being who knew how to manipulate the dust around him and with it, create. Stars, planets, and even the swirling vortexes of a black hole were all birthed from the elder's fingertips. However, for all of his wisdom and knowlege, the Great Sage knew not how to create one thing: Life. It was this flaw in his being that drew the Great Sage to madness, and eventual suicide. He drove a blade into his heart, and from his wounds, the same Stardust of his creation began to leak out into the void.

These clouds of dust floated around a blank planet, an unfinished grey sphere floating around in space. Some were faster than others, but eventually, the clouds began to condense. When they did, new beings were born. New gods, none of them even a fraction as powerful as the Great Sage, but gods with the power of creation all the same. They met around this blank world, which was dubbed Canvas. Together, they discussed what would be done with it. That, is where our story begins.

Within the endless expanses of the void, there was a circular formation of opulent thrones, each meant for one of the gods that were to attend the meeting. Below them all, was the blank world that they would be creating and forming, Canvas. The planet itself was still in its infancy, a grey ball of clay, ripe for crafting and formation. It had no features whatsoever, save for the dead and cratered moon that circled around it.

The goddess Shrill sat in her own seat, nervously twiddling her thumbs and looking at the rest of the deities seated around her. They were strange to her, each one varying in shape and size, in structure and aura. Despite being one of them, Shrill couldn't help but feel as though she were an outsider. But now was not the time for such hesitation, she had called them all here, and it was her job to make sure that they knew what it was they were responsible for on this new, infantile planet.

"So." She began awkwardly, sweeping around the congregation one more time before continuing. "I suppose we should start by agreeing on what kind of planet we want. I've seen lots of different kinds. There were fiery ones, ones that were really cold, and others that were mountainous and others that were just so.. flat." She paused for a moment, waving her hands out in a wide arc. "I kind of want something different, you know? Something that'll stand out. Maybe something lush and green! What do you all think?"

"Something barren and suffocating for me." Zalgo said, when he was brought into existence he was worried, he didn't know what anything was, but after a few moments thoughts and intelligence came to him. Now he was here, sitting with the insufferable other deities. "Though something that also allows growth to happen."

The Dead

''So the grand progenitor is dead. The remains are no more than a chaotic draft. How shall we comfort ourselves, the divinities of all perfection? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our apathy: who will wipe this chaos off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it? Design, beauty, not interested, may the peace of the death be my only useful skill.''

Miyake

"Well I must admit, I have bias towards a planet where food can grow in plentiful amounts," Miyake said with a nervous smile, "so that's where I stand in this debate."

She certainly felt like the black sheep of the group as she noticed most of the gods seemed capable of enjoying barren or inhospitable worlds. It was a strange sight, but it gave Miyake a goal to strive for.

Bjargas
God of Earth & Beer

Bjargas sat on his throne and listened to the comments of several deities. He didn't recognize all, but Orcus was certainly one of them. It was hard not to recognize him by the way of his language, though, and generally Bjargas had a great memory.

"Rivers of fire and water, mountains and valleys, grasslands and deserts. Who cares, really? Let's just have all of it! A world that amazes us each and every day, one where we all have our duties. And our fun", Bjargas commented and laid back in his throne again. He had a habit of leaning forward when speaking, mainly because he didn't know where the others would be. Reskil snorted as if the beast wanted to support him and Bjargas leaned forward again, forming a smile with his mouth. "Not that it really matters to me, eh?", he added and leaned back again.

The Death

''I offer myself to be the first one to begin with the important process of creation. The source of my strenght is the essence of the universe, in other words, souls, tasty and innocents souls. I'll compress that essence inside of my creations so when they die... The flavour of their souls will be delicious, the taste of memories and feelings is so unresistable. I can't bear it anymore, life shall appear so my gluttony can be satisfy!''

"Psh, as long as the souls have seeds of corruption and greed in them, I don't really care." Zalgo said, already formulating a plan. He would work with the others for now, but once he became powerful enough, he would rebel and destroy everything they worked for. But for now he would play nice and feign niceness.

Bjargas
God of Earth & Beer

"Oh, my friend! I have lots of memories to share, if you're in such a dire need of them", Bjargas shouted at Orcus and laughed loudly. Sometimes he really missed talking to others, especially on long journeys. Oh, what beautiful worlds he already visited. Surely Bjargas could have exchanged thousands of stories. Reskil was good listener, but conversations with him were always rather dull. Someone else interrupted, Zalgo, if Bjargas remembered right. He seemed like a nice guy, although he wasn't less weird than Orcus. Not having laid back yet, it was clear Bjargas didn't finish his comments yet. He jumped off the throne and went to pet Eskil, before he turned into the noisy direction again.

"Maybe we can both do it, my friend Orcus, but I believe I should be the first to go down. I might not be as fancy, yet you should all be warned to underestimate me. As small as I may be, I am the one to shape the surface of this world. And maybe we can share a beer or two when you arrive", Bjargas said and made sure his 'warning' was not seen as a threat. He had no interest in stupid fights, not that he didn't fight before..

The Death

It took a thousand of years to escape from that drunkard tales, now the odds are against me again. I need to find a way to escape from his stories before I lose my mind...

''You speak like a high deity when you talk about the sacred soil you manipulate, my friend but It's a shame that we already know about the fact that you lust for Shrill's breast. Such an innocent maiden with a pure heart won't notice your dark intentions but I'm different since I'm corrupted by miasma and nightmares. I'll cry tears and prays for you so your sins will be cleaned immediatly, If you may excuse me I'll go (escape) to the Sacred Room of Penitence. ''

Fihnuir
Order and Law

Fihnuir looked over at his counterpart, "Zalgo, don't forget who is here. I will not allow you to corrupt everything in this world. So don't try anything, cause I do not trust you." Informed Fihnuir as he looked around the room at the other gods. "But I agree with Bjargas, he is the god of earth meaning he can shape the planet. What I propose is that we build a planet with every environment we can think of. That way we can satisfy everyone." Suggested Fihnuir as he once again scanned the room.

Zalgo feigned innocence, asking, "What ever do you mean my counterpart? But fine, not everything, I need my domains present however."

Eis listened closely to a few of the other gods, tutting quietly to himself. Many of them seemed less interested in the world itself than planting their images upon it, which was certainly not within his interests. Some of them he saw potential in though, ones who wanted the world to prosper just like he wanted it to.

Standing from his throne, the rather meek looking Eia moved to the centre of the ring, to garner attention from his fellow attendees. He spoke in an Audible, soft tone, managing a cheery, innocent smile on his face.

"If we're to build something of this blank world, then it needs proper foundations if it's to prosper. And from what I've seen there is no better foundation than this."

Raising his arms up, he began to release two steady streams of sand from his sleeves, creating a small ball of it above him for all to see.

"Sand, it shall be our first step. From there rivers and oceans can form in the lower inclines and trails, and above the ground may harden to stone to form landmasses on the water. That can be our foundation, and the most logical first step to prosperity."

His eyes lingered on Miyake, Shrill and Bjargas the longest. They had the right mindset he needed to bring this world to prosperity, the rest seemed to carry niche uses that couldn't be put to use yet.
If there's a possibility of traps, I'm probably going to play a trap.

Sacred Room of Penitence

"I take refuge in the in the one who comes and goes in the same way as the Unobstructed Light Suffusing the Ten Directions, the one of Inconceivable Light''

The Death thin, wet lips curled into a smile as he admired himself in the reflection of his crown. As usual, he had adorned himself with only the finest jewels in his possession. A long, gold chain hung loosely about his chin, on every finger there were rings. Thick, shining things, inlaid with sparkling gemstones. His robe was of the finest silk, and it swished softly around him when he moved. Hidden beneath the draping garment were two feet nestled comfortably in a pair of slippers.

As the Death tilted the crown he caught sight of his face, and his smile grew wider, revealing a row of stained, yellow teeth. "The miasma have truly dissapeared. Good, now I can return to the council room" he mumbled softly to himself. His hand ran over his almost smooth skin As he examined himself, the areas of his eyes not covered by eyebags seemed to shine and sparkle as brightly as his jewels. One could see why they called him The Jewelled One. Every inch of him seemed to glisten whether it was beads of sweat on his brow, or sequinned beads on his clothing.

As the Death reached the other side of the room, he clapped his thick hands together quickly, and two serving girls rushed in carrying platters of food. They spoke not a word, not even when the Death began to undress them with his beady eyes. He gave a sly grin as he watched them leave, and licked his lips hungrily; there were two types of meat he desired. As the door closed behind them, he began to shove his meal of roast souls through his salivating lips. When he was done he returned to the Council room with a shining look in his face.

Salvat
Wisdom and Void

Salvat follows the discussion in the room with little to no interest. He much prefers if there's nothing to begin with in the first place, as his void self told him. His wisdom side also agrees to the fact that existence is suffering, and with it would bring a lot of pains to the mortal and gods, such as jealousy, anger,...war. But a god he is and he intend to live up to it, after seeing the gap in the discussion, he started to speak.

"If...we wanted to start to make a whole world full of sentient's being, we should plant understanding and a small part of wisdom to their soul to guide them in their mortal lives. We should also create caves, empty grassland, many places void from any other elements for these said mortals to discover what their life truly meant to them."

Floraenia sat, or in other words laid, on her silver and glittering throne in an obnoxious manner. Her back is on the seat of her throne and her legs crossed by the back of the throne. Her head almost touched the room's floors, her hair a sprawl of bloody threads. "Whatever happens to this world, I'll just look at it until it dies." She covered a slight giggle before speaking again. "The first foundation would be the earth and stable air, after that is it's shaping and the seas to promote life." She said in an uncharacteristical manner, in a serious and logical way.

Floraenia clapped her hands, almost falling off her throne. "Hmm... You might be right... Let the mortals burn in the anguish of light and be blinded by the embrace of the dark! But really, what I only do is just watch people sleep and dream, sometimes some unfortunate fool would turn mad because of lunacy and fear of the night. What can I even do with this situation." She said her last statement in a flat voice, indicating that it was not a question.

A frown fell on Eis's face as he looked around, holding the ball of sand above his head. Nobody seemed to have heard what he said, nor did they seem interested in his sand. This bothered him greatly, though whilst the many Gods seemed distracted, Eis hatched a crafty plan.

"Very well. If I hear nobody object, I will do as I believe is right." His dainty form slowly lowered down towards the blank planet until he was a little lower than the thrones, his sandy sphere following him down. Pointing his dainty arms downward towards the dull gray surface, he began letting sand from his sphere and sleeves pour down onto the planet's surface. He was slowly beginning to build up sandy hills and ravines, though reaching a full coverage of the planet would talk a long while as he refrained from putting too much power into this act just yet.

"It's all well and good talking about making whatever inhabits this world suffer, but there wont be any inhabitants without a prosperous landscape to exist upon." Eis began muttering to himself during his sand pouring, occasionally glancing up to see what the other Gods were doing and if they had noticed what he was doing.

Busnia was watching other gods discussing about how to create life and where should they begin. Busnia kept quiet not because he was shy but because he was uninterested. He supported the idea of creating creatures but he doubt that those creatures will be really independent.

Busnia stopped listening as he saw Eis going to the planet underneath them after others ignored him. "Looks like someone already began constructing the habitat." Basnia said in case no one saw what Eis was doing yet. "I will be back in a few moments" Basnia said and stood up. He went down to the planet, a few meters away from Eis. He had questions but he decided to wait and see if Eis has anything to say apart from something like 'what do you want'.

Crax

As Busnia spoke, Crax saw the Boy God Eis flying down to the planets surface. He rose himself and followed Busnia down to where Eis was forging the new world.

"I see you decided to birth the world in Chaos. Listening to other people is so boring"

Crax took up a place beside Eis and began to weave a great darkness over the planet.

"Unless Floraenia has any objections I will call this night. And unless somebody creates light this night is shall be eternal"

Salvat
Wisdom and Void

After his comment ignored by the rest of the gods, Salvat reverts back to his throne and just watch how things will work out. It's okay, after all. The more they debate about creating life and think of how to not step others shoes while at it...or everyone's shoes for some other, the less they would actually creating it. A good plan, if he can say it himself, since he doesn't really want anything exist to begin with.

Then in the corner of his vision, he sees something that may ruin it. Eis start pouring sands to the Canvas, no doubt want to head start in the whole thing. Salvat winches, he knew if anyone else saw what happen, they soon will follow suit and pour all kind of realms to it. In fact, Crax and Busnia already followed suit. The Chaos god might like it, but Salvat sees only nothing but trouble to have such a diverse world with many opposites living with each other. He then quickly point one of his chain appendages to the Canvas and soon a vortex of void swept the sand ravines and hill, as well as the weave of the darkness in the sky, turning it back to what it was.

"You might want to wait until we reach consensus, Eis, Salvat, Busnia." Salvat said to them from his throne, prefering it over joining them down. "There's no reason for us to be such in a hurry, we have all eternity to think this through.

Eis was pleased that Crax decided to join him, looking to Busnia to speak to him when his work was quite suddenly undone by one of the gods above. Frowning, he turned attention back up to the thrones, Sand continuing to pour from his sleeves.

"The world needs foundations, and I intend on building the first layer of this world so that it may prosper. I have spoken my voice and nobody listened, so I will simply do as I see is right, to inspire others to follow in my path."

Shrill leaned forward in her seat at Crax's suggestion, a wide grin growing across her fair face. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I agree with our friend Crax over here.
