Infinite Justice 4 (OOC, Open! Newbies welcome!)

Alright! Now many of you probably already know what Infinite Justice is. A MASSIVE crossover with Marvel, DC, with some DBZ as well! This iteration is aimed at being a tad bit more newbie friendly and less off putting with how absurd some of the characters and post sizes are.

To get things started. IJ is, and always will be, a sandbox. You're free to explore the multiverse at your leisure and get into all sorts of misadventures. You will be playing as your OWN CHARACTER. This was an issue that many had at first. You can't play as Spider-man or Deadpool. But you can make a copy of them if you want. I'm more than accepting of copies.

Third, and the biggest issue of previous versions, was the power limit. It had no limits which meant that we had some pretty insane characters hovering around. Which made it difficult to get an all-inclusive arc up and running. This one, power will be much more limited, but not absurdly so. The biggest thing your characters will be allowed to destroy with one attack will be a star. Previously we had people who could nuke galaxies. Yeah. Not joking. This restriction is in place to help encourage people to play something other than a powerhouse. Yes. Kryptonians and Saiyans are very much still playable.

Put your apps in the Archive if/when you're accepted. Please keep them all in one post if possible and keep them up to date!

Backstory:Under the code name "Neverland" in Switzerland, nearing the end of the Second world war, four hundred children were taken from their homes across Europe and brought to a private lab. There hundreds of formulas taken in secret from any nation were studied and tested, compared and combined inorder to create a more perfect serum. After three years of military training, each child was injected with the serum with a third of the participants reacting fatally the remaining 273 each discovering their own unique abilities.. Thus ending Neverland as a lone project.

And so started Project PanPipe under Neverlands Funding, Five years following, the participants had been tested, trialed and studied to find genes that correlated to their abilities. scientists work mercilessly to extract and perfect those genes, by the end of the five years, PanPipe had successfully produce "Neverlands" Succeeding formula calling about a second sequence of mass injections, an additional 119 participant tests failed, the Surviving 154 were considered "Ultimate Soldiers" With incredible superhuman strength, speed, stamina and healing. 47 of these were capable of flight and were Placed under a new Housing titled "Freiry", the remaining 107 exhibited even greater physical aspects as well as shared abilities, each having their specialty, and were placed under the Name Lost boys.

In a Final attempt to further increase their abilities One exceptional Participant was placed under extensive study under code name "Peter", and after four more years of tests, "Peter" was capable of feats unknown possible to the world, including flight, high powered mental abilities and teleportation among many others.

Only a year after his final experiment, "Peter" had broken free of his holdings and had begun the free the "Lost Boys" and the "Freirys." Now in their mid twentys, Peter and the Lost Boys use their training and Mutations to break loose from their captivity. Though their captors had appeared well armed they failed to contain those they had created, killing only 4 more of the final numbers.

Peter to this day leads the lost boys, living immortally in the facility that once was their prison. Together they watch the nights of Europe defending against hostile aliens and the occasional rouge Police call box.

Powers and Abilities: Teleportation,Rapid Healing, Increased Metabolism(strength, speed, stamina), Flight, telepathy, telekinetic, Light Beam Radiation (from hands), non-aging, Dense bone structure,

Weaknesses:Children, Peter has been known to take extreme damage in order to protect children.

Lex was a neat take, but not the one we're used to. I hope he becomes more like the Lex in comics after his stint in jail, though. He acted like a spoiled rich kid with brains, which was his character in the movie.

And here is the WIP thing I was taking about

Species: Magic using human

Backstory: WIP

Powers and Abilities:
Healing: Through the manipulation of a magical aspect called life, or red energy, Lazarus has the ability to heal near fatal wounds (though cannot regrow someone's limbs) and things if lesser nature. He can also use this to incapacitate an opponent by overloading them with the energy, giving them something similar to a very intense high.

Regeneration/immortality: Lazarus has a high connection to life energy, so potent as to bring inable to die (save soul stealing or the like), and has minor regeneration. Yes, he can regrow a removed torso, though it would take hours of excruciation.

Aura Reading: He cannot read minds. He can however read intentions. Do not lie whilst he is watching you, out try to surprise attack him after acting nice.

Minor restrictive magic capabilities: Using very weak spells, he can slow someone, create magical roles, out similar to that. His best spell is an energy bubble invading the opponent, though he can only keep this up for a minute max.

Weaknesses:
Fighting: With little to no offensive capabilities, he is primarily a healer.

Share the pain: When he is healing you, he is putting HIS access life energy into you. This not only tires him it, but really hurts.

Spirit or mental attacks: He has no defense against these, and this, they kind of ruin his day

Destructive Capacity: Street level. He can punch and kick I guess...

Speed: Average human

Durability: Human, though regen makes up for this

Lifting Strength: Average human

Striking Strength: Average human

Standard Equipment: A spellbook of restrictive magic

Intelligence: Slightly above average IQ.

I'm planning on progressively making him slightly more offensive as time goes on, but if he ever passes city level in anything more than hax I will be surprised by myself

Backstory: Len-El was a former military soldier of the Kryptonian military, born from a family of farmers, and moved to the city after he graduated from academy. Part of the rebellion of General Zod as one of his major, and was arrested after the rebellion failed. He was sent into the Phantom Zone, though. He was released (actually escaped) the Phantom Zone to another planet. On the planet he landed on, most of the citizens are scientifically renowned and the planet is mostly a pacifistic planet with high security to protect their pacifism. He captured one of the rocket after killing some of the scientists and the guardians of the planet.

With the rocket he captured, he managed to gained access to the system of the rocket and determined the guidance to the nearest Krypton post. It was a success, but to his dismay, the post had been abandoned and with only the remains of dead Kryptonians and few active rocket pods. But when he tried to used one of the rocket to launched himself to the nearest post, the rocket was hit by an avalanche that occurred in the planet where the post was. Although the pod was successful to launched, Len entered the stasis mode to protect himself.

That is, until the pod reaching Earth...


Powers and Abilities:
Like all Kryptonians under yellow sun, he possesses vast strength, speed and endurance; super hearing; x-ray vision; telescopic, microscopic and heat vision; super-breath and freeze-breath; invulnerability; healing and flight. He also has military training of a soldier under Zod's command, so he has some more abilities of military soldier.
Basic marksmanship ability.

Weaknesses:
-Same weaknesses as Kryptonians have.

Destructive Capacity: Continent Level

Speed: - Sonic (Mach 1/340m/s) (Supersonic >)

Durability: Moon Level

Lifting Strength: Class K (10^5 - 10^6 kg):

Striking Strength: Class PJ

Standard Equipment: Kryptonian soldier uniform, augmented with increased strength, speed, and toughness.

I've dabbled here in the past, and I've heard of the legends. I'm interested to say the least.

e: Would it be possible to make a straightman in all of this? Like a joe everyman? Currently I'm thinking of something like Kaneda from Akira, but I'm wondering if just being a human would be too underpowered. Can underpowered people work here?

Backstory:
Born to a Japanese mother and an American father in northern Japan in the late 70's, Hiroshi was growing up like every boy at the time was; driving cars with friends, smoking up a storm illegally, and most notably not really caring about where he as going to go with his future. Honestly, all that mattered was feeling good. Drugs passed by him, and they were tried, but that was a bit far for him. He just liked riding his Dad's Suzuki GS, and took it with him everywhere.

Once he was ridding late at night along a mountain road, with a honey holding on behind him. Everything was golden. He met a wonderful girl at a car meet with this friends, and the calm night sky enveloped around him. Just because everything that he was doing was good and perfect doesn't mean everyone else's' is. A sportscar came racing around the corner just as Hiroshi was too, and they crashed. The GS was obliterated, and Hiroshi and his Girl were sent flying into the windshield of the oncoming sportscar.

Or at least, that's what was supposed to happen.

The girl crashed into the windshield, but Hiroshi disappeared completely. Not a sign of life, nor a trace of DNA. He just vanished from that plain of existence completely. Hiroshi woke up in a strange yet still familiar land: Modern day Japan. He remembered the crash, but has no recollection of how he got to where he was. Looking around, he saw that his clothing was white and his skin whiter. In a window, he saw that his hair remained black, but the rest of his body was completely white. However, it seemed like his veins pulsated a light violet instead of the standard red and blue.

At one point, he fell in a puddle, and noticed that his outfit wasn't in the slightest changed. Another time he was trying on clothes he found in a dumpster, and once those were on they turned white, grey and black.

He wandered the streets of modern japan, and was quite confused. He's not sure where he is, nor what era he's in, or even what happened to his family and friends. In this time, he intends on fully finding out what the hell just happened.

Powers and Abilities:

One day while he was walking through the town, he had a tingling sensation down the back of his neck. As he turned the corner of the sidewalk, he saw a delivery truck racing down the street. Were he not more careful, he would've been pulverized. Hiroshi believes that he may have some kind of early warning system a couple seconds in advance

He's very good at riding motorcycles, even though he doesn't own one.

Hiroshi no longer has any drive towards getting something to eat. Sure, he'll eat something and be fine, but he simply doesn't feel like he needs it. He's in a constant state of the same level of energy. By extension, coffee and other energy boosters don't do anything for him.

Weaknesses:

Feels very uncomfortable when driving or riding, most likely due to his own crash.

Still feels at fault for the accident he was a part of, and blames himself for the Girl's (probable) death.

Destructive Capacity: Normal Human

Speed:3.5 (Normal Human)

Durability: Human Level

Lifting Strength: Average human

Striking Strength: Class H

Standard Equipment: A shoplifted lighter and small pocket knife, and that's it.

Underpowered can definitely work. One of the greatest characters in this RP's existence was Daniel Carter, a completely normal human. It's definitely tougher to RP, but more rewarding I say, because your feats will truly stand out.

Backstory:
Volvo is the daughter of one of the most notorious bounty hunters in the universe, Lobo. While it's unknown what she exactly is a mix of, it can be said for sure that at one point or another, Lobo's DNA happened to be compatible with another species, and led to Volvo's birth. She ended up inheriting most of his traits as well, including all of his physical abilities, and most of his personality traits. While she's less inherently sadistic, she is still violent and somewhat of a loose cannon. Not much else to say really. Her father raised her to be a bounty hunter, and taught her how to fight and what not.
