A Shattered Empire
The world of Yaadi is in shambles, the once mighty Caelonic Empire has shattered after a period of war and a set of incompetent rulers. Now the land it once controlled is inhabited by successor kingdoms and break away states, all vying for control over the many islands that make up the world. These new countries have begun to delve into some of the forbidden magic’s, in a desperate effort to one up their neighbors. One of these forbidden practices is that of Night Magic, a school banned for its devastating effects including that of spreading the Scourge. A forest of nothing but darkness, where the sun never shines, and nothing but the trees of bleak grow. This Scourge threatens the entire world, and has split the kingdoms between those who ally themselves with the Night, and those who oppose it.
There are four main islands in Yaadi: Gevalor, the breadbasket of the world, Ievlar, the land of the mountains, Balake, the untamed wild, and finally Kho’Rash, the heart of the old Caelonic Empire. There are hundreds of other islands, all of which consist of their own unique ecosystems and own set of resources. Kho’Rash is the most populous area of the world, with it holding almost a third of the world’s population, with it being followed by Gevalor, then Balake, and finally Ievlar. Kho’Rash is also the most developed of them, with it holding many of the great cities and nearly all of the wealth. However this is made up for by the fact that natural resources are scarce, with many of the ore having been mined during the Caelonic’s 2000 year reign.

1- Don’t be a complete warmonger, i.e. don’t just go and instantly destroy that small nation next to you, and if you do just try and be nice about it.
2- If someone writes a novel of a message or a post and you want to respond, please don’t just write two sentences, it kind of undermines the purpose of writing a super long thing.
