My answers
What percentage of your population knows how to ride a bicycle?: probably 87%

What percentage of your population currently owns a bicycle?: 74% have a bicycle in their household

At what age can you ride a bicycle/ do most people learn to ride a bicycle?: Most people start learning fairly soon after they learn to walk. In cities, there are generally rules that very young children cannot cycle alone during the day, and forbidding most minors from cycling after 10 PM

Are bicycles a viable and common form of transportation in your nation?. In urban and suburban areas they are becoming more and more viable once again.

Are there laws protecting cyclists?: Yes "safe roads" legislation

Are bicycles popular as an alternative to cars?: due to the rising cost of gasoline in The Symplegades, and worries about environmental consequences of motor cars, a sizable community is embracing cycling to get to work, school, etc.

Do many major cities have safe and numerous bicycle lanes?. Most cities have old and narrow roads which must be driven on very slow, so as a result they tend to be more bicycle friendly

Does the government do anything to encourage bicycle use?:. Yes, tax credits assist adults in paying for commuter bikes,

What style/s of bicycle are most common/popular?: Urban bikes

What percentage of your population currently owns a bicycle?: 92%

At what age can you ride a bicycle/ do most people learn to ride a bicycle?: about 5

Are there laws protecting cyclists?: not a one

Are bicycles popular as an alternative to cars?: very much so

Do many major cities have safe and numerous bicycle lanes? Yes, but these are generally toll bicycle lanes, which are still much cheaper than toll roads

What percentage of your population knows how to ride a bicycle?: Unfortunately, the Bicycle Census Committee is unavailable for inquiry, as it was never created, and never will be. One could estimate that about 90% of Neo-Chicagoans can ride a bicycle.

What percentage of your population currently owns a bicycle?: Due to reasons explained above, one can only hazard a guess, probably of about 80%

At what age do most people learn to ride a bicycle?: The mean age is roughly five years old.

Are bicycles a viable and common form of transportation in your nation?: Bicycling is very popular and common among those who will be crushed under the wheels of a semi in the near future.

Are there laws protecting cyclists?: Motorists who commit vehicular manslaughter are now fined a meager some, unless they can prove that the bicyclist they mowed down was being an asshole.

Are bicycles popular as an alternative to cars?: Bicycling is much more popular than driving, as a form of suicide.

Do many major cities have safe and numerous bicycle lanes?: There are many bicycle lanes. They are the lanes not currently occupied by cars.

Does the government do anything to encourage bicycle use?:
The government hands out fliers encouraging bicycling to enemies of the state, known criminals, and other ne'er-do-wells.

What style/s of bicycle are most common/popular?: More traditional bicycles are preferred, especially those which are small and can move quickly out of the path of oncoming traffic

What percentage of your population knows how to ride a bicycle?:
What's a bicycle?
*whispers are heard*
"It's a rolling conveyance that's even lamer than an Autobot? And it doesn't transform?!? Why would anyone bother with that!?"

Um, none, we guess. Maybe some immigrant or another bothered with mastering what certainly seems to be a really primitive contraption.

What percentage of your population currently owns a bicycle?: There's this one guy who has a museum of what Earthians once called "technology..."

At what age can you ride a bicycle/ do most people learn to ride a bicycle?: We don't. Decepticons have no desire to go crawling around on the ground like metal maggots. Plus, we'd look stupid on those contraptions.

Are bicycles a viable and common form of transportation in your nation? Of course not, for the reasons mentioned above. Plus, Decepticons know how to FLY!

Are there laws protecting cyclists?: LOLno.

Are bicycles popular as an alternative to cars?: "Alternative to cars" makes it sound as if someone would actually want to ride in one of those 4-wheeled robicidal transforming maniacs, and is settling for something less. We don't want anything to do with either!

Do many major cities have safe and numerous bicycle lanes? None at all.

Does the government do anything to encourage bicycle use?: No, and in fact, would probably investigate a bicyclist for "activities unbecoming of a Decepticon." One of us perched on a bike would be a scene that would cause laughter, rather than the desired fear and awe, in foreigners who saw him.

What style/s of bicycle are most common/popular?: None.
