History:
Finnish history until 1920s
In the 1920s we industrialized our nation and improved our economy. We allowed women to take part in jobs usually taken by men improving our manpower. We begin manufacturing military vehicles, ships, and weapons to improve the military's equipment and improve the quality of defense. By the 1940s, the USSR wanted to station troops in Finland in which Finland refused.
Anticipating Soviet invasion, males were drafted and ready to deploy and invade the Murmansk Oblast including the Kola peninsula in which was sparsely populated besides Murmansk and minor towns. This prevented a defensive war against the Soviets which could have proved fatal. We quickly took Murmansk and invaded Karelia, annexing it despite a loss of men. This lead to the invasion of Leningrad Oblast which lead to a victory with many losses. Our remaining army invaded the Vologda Oblast and Arkhangelsk Oblasts taking portions of their territory leading to the Soviet surrender and defeat and the occupation of the said land. This lead to uneasy relations after the war which instead of the Continuation and Winter wars was the Finno-Soviet War during WWII lasting the entirety of WWII ending in 1946.
The uneasy relations almost lead to outbreaks of war. However, despite the uneasy relations the two nations have been having stable trade. The war had a lasting effect on the Soviets making many despise the Finnish. The former Soviet territories began to lose the grasp of socialism and began to gain democratic ideals and a more loyal population after the years. We began to export many resources to Norway and Sweden for some land. We bought some of the northern coast from the Norwegians and bordering land from the Sweden. During the Cold War, in the 1960s, the former Soviet territories recovered and began to contribute more to the nation. The population in Murmansk, Pietari (Leningrad), and numerous Finno-Russian towns boomed as well as Helsinki and Espoo during the 1970s-1990s. Today, its' population has over nine million with about a ninth of it as part of the military.
Goals:
Keep Independence
Fend off against USSR/Russia

[box]The small fleet of Flensk ships make their way towards the south most island. The fleet
slowly approaches the blockade.
Meanwhile, the Tenth Air Squadron consisting of 6 F-16
fighters merge with the Fourth Bomber Squadron which is an older squadron with vintage
WWII bombers which haven't been upgraded, renovated, or replaced due to being ignored.
There is four B-17 Flying Fortress bombers, two P-41 fighters, and P-51 Mustang fighters.
The other air squadrons are currently either scouting, on carriers ready to bomb cities, not
deployed, or reserved. Four M1 Abram tanks make their way to the base. The base begins to send
Four thousand troops to the nearby villages, towns, suburbs, Daeskiri's outskirts, and towards Daeskiri.
one thousand five hundred soldiers were assigned to take the villages, suburbs, and towns one by one. The
remaining two thousand five hundred which were deployed marched to Daeskiri.
FREE PEOPLE'S REVOLUTIONARY FORCES
(Image)Twenty people were equipped with civilian rifles and shotguns were sent to the front lines.
One of these people was the Flensk Special Forces Sergeant Eaxin Astritob, spying on the rebels. They
passed several villages, suburbs, and towns and made it to a small camp with about one hundred Communists.
He hid a military M16A1 with a Flensk flag and his uniform in his backpack. He soon went in his tent and took
his M1911 pistol. He reloaded, put on a bulletproof vest, put a silencer, and hid his stuff. He hid it and went towards the
Communist's leader, Chranybsk Revidi. He started a conversation and once they were in a tent alone,
he took his gun and shot the Communist leader and stabbed Chranybsk with a combat knife in the lungs. (To make sure he's dead)
Eaxin buried Chranybsk under the tent. Eaxin also collapsed the tent.
Several hours later, He got a message via radio. He put on headphones.
"Its time," says Flensk Commander Steven Welling.
Eaxin took his M16A1 and reloaded it. He put on his uniform and went outside. (He still wore his bulletproof vest)
He began to hear gunfire. All the rebels headed towards to front lines and began to fire at the Flensk soldiers. Eaxin
shot five rebels behind their backs. Then six more fell. Two rebels moved from the western part of the defense line towards
where the few died. Both were aware of their surroundings and saw Eaxin shooting rebels. They began to open fire on Eaxin.
The rebels shot at the chest mostly. They were distracted by Eaxin as Flensk soldiers surrounded them. They were hit by a tazer and fell.
The Flensk casualties were about 30 out of 200 in the attack. Only two Communists in the defense line at the camp survived and were captured.
