To the Nobility of the Monarchy of Aarn, you are hated. To the proletariat, you are feared. Pirates of the sky, you and your crewmates are poachers, mercenaries, bandits, and professional thieves. But you, however, are out of work. Crime has decreased dramatically, as more violent measures against piracy have been enforced. The risk, now outdoing the reward, have led you to believe your days in the air are over.
Little do you know, that is far from the case.
You have made your temporary home in the city of Cath, a city of dirtied streets and dirtier people. Rats, human and otherwise, call this place home. And tonight, different from many other nights, you have procured an invitation to an exquisite party, a ball only for the highest of Aarn's populace to attend. Of course, this ticket was not receive by legitimate means. Why you are there is up to you. However, the events that will occur will force you out of retirement...and threaten your life as you know it.

Hello, everyone! Aona here, with the reboot to my Steampunk RP Privateer! This RP is the result of a fusion of three of my favorite genres: Pirate, Steampunk, and Mystery, and follows the soon-to-be-created crew of the Airship Sanguine. This RP weaves together a series of mysteries, heists, and battles, which all tie into a massive story, where not all is what it seems. These stories will include heavy action scenes alongside traditional detective work, and things will never be boring. Side stories, Spin-offs, and flashbacks are recommended and will all hopefully be included, creating a huge encyclopedia rich with lore as the story continues.
This is all set in the fictional country of Aarn, a Victorian-style monarchy where no-one is clean and everything is buyable. As Aarn's crime syndications grow stronger, the citizens get angrier, and the governing body becomes more and more desperate to maintain power, everything is teetering on the brink of collapse. Through the story, the grime and dirt of Aarn will be shown, and will shape the story into it's own dingy bad-cop thriller. With that said, here's what you need to know:

- No Godmodding or Metagaming of any kind. If you think you might be breaking this rule, please ask me.
- Get along with others.
- My word on all disagreements and arguments is final.
- Keep posts detailed and long, please. During conversation, this is negotiable, but keep it respectable.
- Realism, despite living in a Steampunk world, is key.
- Sex is allowed, but keep it vague, please.
- If you have to pull out of the RP for a few days, or quite altogether, just let me know beforehand.
- While not so much a rule, don't hesitate to contribute to the lore! The world is only as rich as the authors make it

Notes on these:
- The young and incredibly elderly are not allowed, however, make a choice with your character to not be a 20-something attractive person. I will allow a few of those, but diversify.
- Class is anything that an airship of pirates would need. Weapons expert? Doctor? Favors man? It's up to you.
- Bio should also include how they got the invitation.
