Type 233 Infantry Tactical Optical Sight

Postby Zhouran » Wed Feb 03, 2016 2:20 am

Price: NS$ 600

Type 233 Infantry Tactical Optical Sight

Image
A 3.4× ITOS scope.

The Type 233 Infantry Tactical Optical Sight is a series of telescopic sights created by Yongsheng Heavy Machinery Industries. Tested in early 2004 and introduced on May 8, 2006, the sights were designed to provide fixed power magnification levels from 1.25× to 7.4× for precision fire over long distances. ITOS is available in a variety of configurations with different reticles, illumination, and other features. For low-light condition aiming, the optical sights use internal phosphor illumination provided by the radioactive decay of tritium. The tritium illumination gradually loses its brightness due to radioactive decay, and as a result, the radioactive tritium light source has to be replaced every 8–12 years. Type 233 sights are nitrogen-purged to prevent fogging and are equipped with an anti-reflection device. The sights are covered with an armored shell for protection, making them extremely resistant to shock and water immersion.

Black Arrow HP-SAP-HE-S

Postby Zhouran » Wed Feb 03, 2016 2:35 am

Price: NS$ 4,000 for a batch of 10,000

Black Arrow High-Performance Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Explosive Sabot

The Black Arrow High-Performance Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Explosive Sabot is a type of small-arms projectile developed by the Scientific Military Research Bureau. First tested in early 2007 and introduced on April 19, 2010, the ammunition was designed to provide greater accuracy and controllability, flatter trajectory, higher velocity, reduced recoil, longer range, and high lethality against enemy personnel.

Developed for handgun and rifle cartridges, the Black Arrow uses an expanding cup sabot that acts as a sleeve that partially envelopes a projectile, resulting in higher velocity and flatter trajectory. Supporting the base and rear end of the projectile, when the sabot and projectile exit the muzzle of the gun, air pressure on the sabot forces it to release the projectile. Inertia from the rotation of the projectile and sabot opens up the segments surrounding the projectile, releasing it.

The projectile uses a dense material, which can either be coated or made out of, and deforms shortly after impact to prevent the projectile from exiting the body. If the projectile pierces completely through a target, this would lead to less severe wounding, which can result in failing to disable the target. Inside, the projectile uses an explosive filler with a delay action fuse that goes off shortly after impact. This allows the projectile to detonate inside the body of the enemy.

When ordered, the Black Arrow HP-SAP-HE-S rounds will arrive in a batch of ten thousand. Clients can order how much batches they want.

The Type 239 Infantry Precision Reflex Sight is a battery powered, non-magnified, red dot style gun sight created by Yongsheng Heavy Machinery Industries. Tested in early 2007 and introduced on May 11, 2008, it is a "tubed" style reflector sight that uses a red light-emitting diode (LED) at the focus of a mirror type optical collimator to produce an aligned red aiming spot. There are a total of eighteen brightness settings for the LED, the lower half intended for use with night vision devices and the upper half for daylight. The reflex sight is powered by a single small battery, and it can operate continuously for 90,000 hours on a single battery, in its 10th brightness setting.

The IPRS has unlimited eye relief, meaning that the user may place their eye at any distance from the sight and the reticle will remain visible. This allows flexibility in mounting and shooting position. The Type 239 uses an off-axis spherical aberration correction system, meaning there is minimal induced optical error that would shift the point of aim relative to the sight's optical axis as the user's eye moves off-center in relation to the sight. The sight itself is parallax-free at around 48 m, meaning that the red dot will not change position relative to the target based on eye position at that range. The point of aim will change position based on eye position at other ranges with the maximum error being equal to the diameter of the sight's optical window at short range.

Silent Eagle Autonomous Ground Sensor

The Silent Eagle Autonomous Ground Sensor is a sensor system developed by the Scientific Military Research Bureau. First tested in late 2009 and introduced in early 2011, the system employs various sensor modalities including seismic, acoustic, magnetic, and pyroelectric transducers, daylight imagers and passive infrared imagers to automatically detect the presence of persons or vehicles, and transmit activity reports or imagery via radio-frequency or satellite communications links to a command and control center. The systems are packaged for concealed emplacement in the field for long-duration operations.

There are two types: the Silent Eagle Type 100 and the Silent Eagle Type 200.

The Type 100 sensors are small ground-based sensors that collect intelligence through seismic, acoustic, radiological nuclear and electro-optic means. These sensors are networked devices that provide an early warning system to supplement a unit/formation and are capable of remote operation. To an extent the Type 100 can detect, track, classify, and identify personnel and vehicles within its coverage area and report to the command and control center in near real-time.

The Type 100 comprises the following sensor systems:

  • A gateway node, which is a router and data collector that sends information back to the command and control center.
  • An intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) node, which is the key component that acquires and tracks personnel, vehicles and aircraft through seismic and acoustic means.
  • An electro-optic node that obtains information from the ISR node and pans its camera toward the point of interest and is able to track and send images to the command and control center.
  • A radiological nuclear node that is capable of measuring and reporting gamma dose-rate and accumulated dose from a fallout environment in a tactical battlefield situation. Detected radiological events is transmitted via a detailed spot report through the gateway node to the command and control center.

For urban areas, the Type 200 is used as a surveillance tool during building clearing operations, and in caves, sewers, tunnels, and other confined spaces. The wireless, hand emplaced system of sensors are lightweight and low cost. The Type 200 network is capable of taking field-of-view images of intruders in all-weather day/night conditions and transmits images to the command and control center where immediate recognition of intruders should be achieved or by using the motion detector sensors only when imaging is not needed.

The Type 200 sensors are made up of the following:

  • A gateway that bridges the Type 200 sensor field to the command and control center, relays motion alarm and image data, and is capable of being monitored locally or remotely by personnel in the field.
  • An intrusion node, which is a motion sensor that detects movement and is able to tell the difference between animal and human beings.
  • An imager node, which is a combination of a motion sensor and all-weather day/night electro-optical sight to make pictorial identification easier.

Type 211 Target Illumination Pointer

Postby Zhouran » Tue Jun 28, 2016 4:37 am

Price: NS$ 217

Type 211 Target Illumination Pointer

The Type 211 Target Illumination Pointer is a two separate piece laser sight system created by Yongsheng Heavy Machinery Industries. Introduced in early 2011, it consists of the Type 211-100 infrared illuminator and Type 211-200 visible laser sight unit. The system was designed to be mounted on automatic rifles and submachine guns, and allow soldiers to designate targets without giving their position away.

The Type 211-100 has two infrared laser emitters: one narrow beam used for aiming the weapon, and one wide beam used for illuminating targets, like a flashlight. The beams are only visible through night vision devices. Each beam can be zeroed independently, and the illuminator's radius is adjustable. The two lasers are tied into one six-mode switch, which has the following modes:

1. - targeting laser and infrared illuminator off

2. - targeting laser on low power and IR illuminator off

4. - targeting laser on high power and IR illuminator off

5. - targeting laser on high power and IR illuminator on low power

6. - both targeting laser and IR illuminator on high power

Turning the mode switch does not turn on the lasers. A recessed button on top of the Type 211-100 is tapped once to briefly turn on the lasers or tapped twice to turn the lasers on until deactivated, either by pressing a third time or by turning the mode switch to off. Additionally, an extra pressure switch can be plugged into the rear of the device and then placed virtually anywhere, limited only by the length of the pressure switch's cord. This pressure switch operates the same way as the recessed button. The Type 211-100 incorporates a removable safety block which physically prevents turning the mode switch to any of the high power modes, which are capable of causing eye damage. The device is waterproof to a depth of thirty meters and runs on two batteries.

The Type 211-200 projects a visible red dot and comprises a single box that houses a visible red laser. Unlike the Type 211-100, the Type 211-200 lacks the infrared illuminator/target designator.

The Type 241 Infantry Optical Tracking Sight is an advanced optical device developed by Yongsheng Heavy Machinery Industries. Tested in early 2012 and introduced on November 27, 2013, IOTS consists of an electronic scope with magnification levels from 1.85× to 9.6× and a millimeter scanner that detects lingering heat signatures from stationary targets at up to thirty meters. While the scope's electronic magnification is not engaged, a real-time image is viewed on the scope monitor. Targets that have been detected by the scanner are displayed on the monitor with their outlines highlighted. The millimeter scanner pulsates every two-three seconds, revealing targets within thirty meters provided they are stationary or are moving at very slow speeds. The scanner is capable of detecting heat signatures of concealed targets through materials.

Price: NS$ 193

Type 206 Target Illumination Pointer

The Type 206 Target Illumination Pointer is an adaptive target acquisition module created by Yongsheng Heavy Machinery Industries. Introduced in late 2006, it was designed to be mounted on automatic rifles and submachine guns.

Using a five-mode switch, the device offers the following lighting and/or sighting options:

1. - White light flashlight, bright

2. - Non eye-safe laser sight, the visibility depends on the environmental light conditions, while at dusk the red laser dot is visible just over 150 m

3. - Infrared (IR) laser, visible only when an infrared night vision device is used

4. - Infrared target illuminator, the IR illuminator has a maximum range of up to 10 m

5. - Combinations of white light flashlight, laser red dot, IR laser and IR target illuminator, appropriate for simultaneous lighting and aim point determination

The Type 206 is operated at the top of the module using a rotary selector switch to switch the device on or off and select various lighting options. The device activation can alternately be performed by a pressure switch connected by cable to the Type 206 device, which can be attached at various positions on a firearm.

Both laser markers can be adjusted independently in azimuth and elevation for adapting them to the firearm to which the Type 206 is fastened. The Type 206 is waterproof up to twenty-eight meters.

Price: NS$8,000 for a batch of 10,000

Type 205 Standard Infantry Tactical Accessory Kit

The Type 205 Standard Infantry Tactical Accessory Kit is an accessory system for automatic rifles created by the Scientific Military Research Bureau. Introduced in late 2005, it was designed as a kit that allows soldiers to configure their weapons to individual preferences and mission requirements.

The standard SITAK accessories consists of a vertical foregrip, an optical sight, quick-detachable sound suppressor, an attachable flashlight, detachable rail mounts for weapons that lack any fixed rail mounts, and a carrying/storage case for kit accessories, as well as a specialized sling that uses three sling sockets and serves not just as a carrying strap but as an aid to greater hit probability by helping the shooter aim steadily. If additional accessories are needed, a soldier can simply "cannibalize" interchangeable parts. Clients can also place additional accessories into their SITAK when ordering.
