The AF-34 Silverfish was developed as a Supersonic interceptor aircraft powered by two Arkisteranian Engineering Ramjet engines, giving it a top speed of Mach 2.2.

AF-2 Kestrel

Description

The AF-2 Supersonic fighter aircraft was designed as a replacement for the outdated AF-444 Moonhawk Supersonic fighter first flown in 1974. Though the AF-444 was reliable, it has become outdated, and more expensive to refit than to make three of them, so the military scientists of Arkisteran came together to develop "project Foxtrot-Uniform-Charlie-Kilo". The result of which is the AF-2 Supersonic Fighter aircraft, which underwent many tests against the fighters of the Ukranasian and Nickelian Air Forces, both allies of Arkisteran in the commonwealth of {CLASSIFIED}, with the AF-2 outperforming the allied air forces in all ways, but particularly in dogfighting, as the long wings allow for large control surfaces, along with more lift to accomodate the weight of vectoring jet engines, along with small variable angle jet engines just under the cockpit on the fuselage to quickly dodge incoming bullets and missiles.

The AF/B-2 is a fighter-bomber variant of the AF-2, and named the Silver Kestrel. The AF/B-2 was developed at the same time as the AF-2. The main difference between the AF-2 and AF/B-2 is the enlarged bomb bays in the centre of the aircraft.

The AF/A-2 is a ground attack variant of the AF-2 Kestrel fighter, and is named the Copper Kestrel. The AF/A-2 was developed after Nickel empire requested a ground attack variant of the critically acclaimed Fighter. The main difference is the AEGC-9 Gatling Cannon mounted under the nose, along with one gunpod under each wing attached to both the fuselage and the wing.
