The Republican field, despite having thinned a bit, is still pretty large. Here's our second Megathread for discussing who will win, why they should win, and how could Donald Trump possibly say that oh goodness our country is crazy.

The only remotely reasonable candidates are Pataki, Kasich, Graham, and Christie. Of course, as a Democrat, I want someone like Donald Trump to win, ensuring a Democrat in the White House.

Cruz is worse than Trump in every conceivable way. Nothing Trump says is feasible, it doesn't seem like he believes what he says, and he's motivated by Trump not by ideology. Cruz....Cruz is everything Trump is, but he can craft policy, he's committed to his ideas even in the face of facts, and when he demonizes the opposition...I know he believes it. If Trump were elected, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Cruz on the other hand, I agree with Trump. He's a maniac.

As a resident of New Jersey, I can tell you that Bridgegate was blown way out of proportion. There is no proof that it went that far up, or that Christie had anything to do with the decision.

Of course, when I say Christie is reasonable, I mean comparatively.
