Invasion of South Lazurania [INVITE, IC]

[Lazurania]

The Emperor of the Lazuranian Empire has hired Hamiltonian Mercenaries to cause havoc in South Lazuranian soil. While the mercenaries keep the Southerners busy, the Lazuranian Military will invade South Lazurania with a force of 200,000 and 3,000 tanks against the South Lazuranian force of 260,000 men and 2,000 tanks. But this event may attract more than just the three nations.

Military Inspection of Emperor Vissarion
The Emperor watches as his force of 200,000 march towards South Lazurania packed with winter gears for the upcoming winter. He speaks to General Radec about the situation. "Well sir, it is time to invade your greatest rival in your entire life." The Commander says to his Emperor, "Are you sure this is the right time? We have yet to reform our government and we may not gain popular support from the Southerners." "Don't even worry about that brother, as long as you are there the people will follow you even to the ends of the Earth." says Radec with a smile at his face. "I sure hope so."

The vanguard is the Foreign Legion commanded by Field Marshal Radetzky. "Sir!" A trooper screams. "Speak now." "The Emperor has ordered the Legion to march towards the border of South Lazurania." The Old Marshal nods dismissing the trooper. He then announces the news to his troops. "Men, today we shall invade our enemy and I shall take this oath to fully show my allegiance of this cause." We uses a knife to cut his finger to a cup of water and lets some droplets in. "I Radetzky am willing to take this oath to promise our ancestors a victory over the Southerners, if this promise be broken I voluntarily execute myself according to military law." He then drinks the cup of blood then raises his sword at the air and his men scream. "Victory, Victory, Victory!" The oath is now complete and the vanguard may now move.

[The Prosperous Peoples]

Sparked by the heroic efforts and actions of their ally, The Prosperous Peoples government finds themselves overrun by patriots encouraging war against South Lazurania. Realizing they must appease their peoples, and feeling a need to support their comrades, they hold a national draft for citizens to hastily join the existing military. The ready soldiers of approximately 60,000 men, some trained, some not, equip themselves with weapons and enter the war.

The great fascist leader commands his men to march on the outskirts of South Lazurania, shooting and killing anyone holding a gun or other weapon, while handing over anyone found of political importance to their ally. Any civilians are taken into military custody and given leftover scraps of food from the soldiers while being made to pay high taxes for the government. Knowing these policies, the soldiers sloppily march to war, keen on making a difference.

The military adviser of The Prosperous Peoples is sent to meet with the Lazuranians to contemplate further strategies.

War has been declared on South Lazurania.

"This is outrageous!" Screams current Dictator Ivan Braginsky. "Those filthy Northerners think they can just rob our lands of the riches! I will crush their feeble forces even before winter with our superior forces!" He then commands his sister, Natalia Braginsky to speak her mind. "It is very mysterious on why they would just invade like that, but this commander the men are calling Old Fritz are being wide spread and demoralizing the army." She says with a cautious look. "Whoever he is I want his dead body by winter and be hung at our capital showing the populace who is more powerful." He then gets a call from the army. "Kleist speak." "Sir please advice us where to position our men for the invasion." The commander says to the emperor. "I want half our forces to position the northern region and the other half spread out the rest of the border, I won't allow any retreat." He says to the Commander. "Do you still want to talk to Private Butz sir?" he replies. "Who is this Private Butz?" "Sir he is a lone survivor of a recent Lazuranian attack, he says that they released him for a demorilaztion in your uh...feeble forces." He reluctantly says. "Let me talk to this Private Butz later and see what he has to offer, dismissed." He also dismisses his general staff but stops his sister. "Natalia, you are our most competent General, I need you to stop this war at any cost. Do you understand that?" Natalia nods in agreement. "Good."

The Small yet powerfully trained Prosperian Army arrives on the southern-most coast of South Lazurania, quickly overwhelming the widespread enemy with the concentration of their military, and fortifies a small area by using homes as shelters and citizens as hostages against the Southerners.

They left their morals behind them upon entering this war.

The Empress starts talking about the situation. "By now you men should have heard about Lazurania declaring war on its brother country, whether its a horrible thing or a good thing we must decide who to side with. You may speak your mind." "Ah, I have a proposition. We should ally with the Lazuranians and send some of our navy as support. When the conflict ends we should demand for land due to our help." the other ministers think for a moment. "Aiya that is an idiotic plan fellow minister, it will surely enrage the Lazuranians since we only gave them feeble help. I say we should fully help the Lazuranians and create another front for the Southerners to divert their forces giving our allies more time to establish their fronts." The other ministers nod at this Idea. "I concur." says all the ministers. "It is settled then, we will now officially declare war on the Southerners."

The Military was shocked to find their South flank overrun by a fascist state, a state the Lazuranians would never ally with according to popular belief. But even the shock and awe of the nation can't stop Natalia's swift fortification of the South, they don't call her the "Sleeping Dragon" [Opposite of the Awakened Phoenix which is Radec's title meaning they are equal in skills] for nothing. 30,000 elites now guard the taken land of the fascists now they prepare for an upcoming Austrostan invasion in the west. The Lazuranians are still far off the border and trenches and bunkers are being made for the advancing Lazuranians and their allied states.

National Conference

The Emperor, and the Governors of each region have gathered together here today to discuss the war.
"We should join the war on the side of Lazurania" said, 5 of the Governers, "That would be stupid we are still recovering from the Ministers atrocities we should not join the war but help the Lazuranians by letting them use a percentage of the Emperors army." I say, the majority of the governors agreed so the conference was ended inf favor of this decision.

Propaganda Outbreak

Due to the recent beginning of war, the government of The Prosperous Peoples has decided they would need more units in order to further assist their northern allies. They decided to cover the entirety of the nation with posters encouraging joining the war and/or working for companies that supported it. Those who were found to be without jobs were immediately shipped off to the military to either participate in the war, provide special services such as medical needs and craftsmen of weapons and devices, or running supply ships to the foreign battle. As a result, the nation is scrounging together as many people as it can to go to war, as well as training them as quickly as possible. There is some concern among the people that the soldier's policies are too rough, but the Fascist leader brushes them aside and declares that they are needed for "...the protection of morality, the destruction of barbarians, and the acquisition of new allies and new commercial partners" to use his own words. Reinforcements are expected to arrive soon on multiple coasts of South Lazurania in large numbers.

The conference of the Emperors Army has decided they could temporally give Lazurania 0.8k (800) soldiers every two weeks and will stop when it reaches about 40% of the Giviorian Emporers Army.

Representative John Grey of Bearon smiles sardonically to himself as he reads reports of the invasion of Southern Lazurania. "It seems that a burgeoning neighbor state is in a bit of a bind." He says dryly to his surrounding advisers. "What's say we alleviate some of their burden." Representative Grey signals to a secretary to record his next words "By decree of the People's Representative of Bearon 30,000 soldiers, 500 tanks and 150 ships shall be marshaled to aid its beset upon neighbor, Southern Lazurania." After he finished with his declaration Grey paused for a moment to allow the secretary to jot the last few words down before signaling to him to stop recording. "Send the leader of Southern Lazurania an encryption code that will put him in touch with me." He relayed to his communications adviser. Settling back into his seat Grey went back to reading reports.

A General smiles at the latest news. "Look at this man, he is virtually challenging us to a navy battle! What a lunatic." The other generals under General Radec laughs at this, except Radec. "You are underestimating our opponent fellow general." the room fell silent. "The navy maybe the largest in the region and the airforce may be a phoenix in the sky, we must not underestimate their technology. We are not even on par with South Lazurania's tech in the Army so we may have a war with some futuristic people,"

[The Prosperous Peoples]

The Advisers of The Prosperous Peoples' great leader quietly curse to themselves at the recent news of the enemy's supporters. "How can we allow these nations to so easily give so many units without expecting us to fight back?!" the head military adviser spits. "They give so much support to the enemy, it seems only right that we interfere."
"But how?" questions the frantic economic adviser whose hair is starting to turn gray from the stress. "We can't afford any to take away any more from economy then we already have for military production. I suggest we keep it simple. We poison the enemy water flows, such as rivers, lakes and oceans, and by doing so we make it harder for any of their pitiful soldiers to survive off the land. They'd have to rely on foreign assistance, and if a certain northern ally of ours were to cut this off... they'd all just die off. That way none of our soldier's lives are lost." The ecological adviser can't stand to listen anymore. "EXCUSE ME?" she screams. "YOU WANT TO DO WHAT TO THE WATER?" she calms down a little. "We can't have you poisoning the water, it would make the precious plants and animals there die off! We have to value their lives too!" The military adviser interjects. "You may think some fern's life is more important than your own, but I sure as hell don't. I'm in full support of the poison plan, Leader. I suggest we rely on Lazurania's navy to protect our incoming cargo and deplete enemy resources. It's not the nicest thing to do, but as they say: 'all's fare in love and war' " The entire room looks to the Leader for approval, who only nods his head at the general. The meeting is adjourned.

Toxic Waste is now being emptied into enemy water supplies.
(casualties: the precious ferns (immediate effect) and approximately 180 enemy soldiers before they realize about the toxins as well as a few thousand civilians)

Upon hearing this, the High command has ordered Admiral Orlock and his 100 warships and 2 aircraft carriers to guard the Fascists while they increase toxicity in the region. While the navy is intensely trained it has never met it's baptism of fire. Admiral Orlock is now arriving to barricade the scientists with 300 elites to guard from a land invasion.

Upon hearing this Giviori sends a group of 100 warships 20 battleships and 6 aircraft carriers to help in the blockade. However officially they are neutral but breaking international law to help their allies.

We are nolonger the peace keeper we have formally declared war on South Lazurania and will begin our invasion on the Eastern flanks!

In the capital city of Lazurania, people were busy doing their normal life. It was a sunny day, no clouds... a perfect weather.

Until a total darkness reached the city. All citizens looked to the sky, not understanding what was happening, until they saw it...

the sun was being covered by couple tens of transport spaceships, a dozen ofDestroyer Class and a Titan Leviathan Class, of 13'2 km long, bringed only to impress the people and make his enemies temble in fear.
People in any corner of the world could see that fleet, intimidating.

Greeting, his majesty.

I'm the Admiral Solar Macharius, from the 457th Vektran Space Force. I'm here by the order of his majesty, the God Emperor Azrael. We have explicit orders to not destabilize the planet with our superior technology, so my main fleet will remain hiden far from this solar sistem.

By the will of the Vektran Empire and it's people, We will join Lazurania in the Helghast unification on this planet.

Solar Macharius.

After finishing sending the message to Lazurania, hundreds of dropships left the transports, and started disembark its cargo in Lazurania's main streets, near the emperor's palace.

People were looking, afraid, what was happening. Dropships were landing in front of their homes, they feared to be invaded by an unknown power. Also, a big ship landed near the capital, silently.
Suddenly, the doors of the dropships opened, unleashing its cargo... droids, a dozen of droids per each dropship were marching in the streets, joining each squad to form a vast army, walking in the streets, like a wave, until they reached the emperor's palace, and stoped in front of it, forming, waiting for it's new leader orders... 1 milion droid soldiers disembarked in Lazurania's capital that day.

Near Lazurania's border, 30.000 vektran soldiers, supported by 3.000 armed drones, 3.000 Main Battle Tanks, 200 light mobile artillery, 5 Heavy field artillery/anti-orbital cannon, 500 A/A units and 80 Main Battle mechs. Their main mission will be protect Lazurania's borders from enemy agression, and also, small detachments would be sended to help Lazurania's movements and attacks in Sout Lazurania.

Vektra request some Lazurania's airports in order to bring air units.

The droids will be stored in a private facility underground Moscovy to store them for emergency purposes, we also lend 2 airports to the Vektras in order for them to bring in their air force into action. While all these things where happening, the vanguard has almost reached the Border and will now rest and wait for supplies. The vanguard will arrive at about 9:00 AM tomorrow.

Prosperian Civilian Protection Program

Realizing the importance of the lives of the civilians inside South Lazurania, The Prosperous Peoples has begun flying planes into enemy territory to bomb the citizens - but not with normal bombs. The Planes drop small pamphlets of paper advertising the safety that civilians will receive should they flock to the Prosperian Military Camps for protection, as well as the fresh water and clean food, at the small cost of working for Prosperian benefit. Various families are seen entering the shelters of The Prosperous Peoples. Those who chose to remain loyal to their motherland are left to suffer the decision of trusting their water might not be poisoned or letting themselves die of thirst. Dissent thickens among the Southerners.

(Casualties: 50 or so Prosperian planes and their pilots have been shot down, leaving no survivors)

After the autorization, Vektra brings to that airports 100 space fighters and 20 space bombers.

Using their high technology, some bombers, supported by couple of fighters, bombed couple of enemy fortifications and factories, and the Titan spaceship, shooted an orbital artillery barrage in South Lazurania, just to bring chaos and terror in the enemies hearts. Guns were shooted on inhabitated places, like parks and parkings, to not hurt any civilian.
