"Either way, the Empire will triumph."- Grand Admiral Thrawn

CO-OP: The Flame Dawn

State of the Galaxy
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

It is the dawn of a new era. It has been just a little more than nine years after the infamous Battle of Yavin. The Empire has faced setback after setback, from the fracturing of the Pentastar Alignment and the separation of various other Imperial Warlords to the deaths of leaders such as Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, and Ysanne Isard have left the true Empire in a disastrous position. Collectively labeled the Imperial Remnant by the fledgling New Republic, these groups have been helpless in their quest to unify the galaxy under an iron fist of tyranny.

The New Republic is now approaching was is to be the first of many breaking points. The political system set in place by the old rebellion's leader, Mon Mothma, is beginning to suffer, as war exhaustion and political upheaval take its toll on the valiant champions of the light. After nine years of swift vengeance against Imperial oppression, the New Republic finds itself in a stalemate. It is a situation that can only lead to ruin, and the shattered state of the Republic's military threatens the security against the Empire that refuses to die...

Deep in the unknown regions, a powerful force is growing. Far from the eyes of the rest of the galaxy, the Empire Of The Hand lies in wait, biding their time till they may strike out against the galaxy, uniting the various species the comprise it under one, tolerant banner.

In the midst of this chaos, private entrepreneurs have seen an opportunity for profit, and are poised to capitalize, with men such as Booster Terrick and Talon Kardde setting their sights on endless profits.

It is a time of great chaos, and the denizens of the galaxy are awaiting the command of one worthy.

None of them are ready for the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn!

Welcome to Star Wars: Freedom Rising; a faction-based role-playing game that puts you in command of the galaxies forces. The galaxy is in a state of great peril, and it is up to you to determine the fate of billions of worlds. From Admiral of Evil to Suave Ship Thief Extraordinaire, we have it all!

This role-playing game is set in the wonderful universe of Star Wars, and is dependent upon Legends Cannon. There will be links to the Star Wars Wiki available, and it is a fantastic source for all consumers of Star Wars products.

Rules and Regulations
Aka: The OP's favorite type of R&R!

1: The OP is a god/divine entity/supreme overlord. DO. NOT. TEMPT.
2: All CO-OP's are the designees of the OP, and their status is to be held in high regard. Their word, along with that of the OP, is sacred law.
3: Have a fantastic time!
4: Do not meta-game. Star Destroyers cannot be one-shotted by your average CR-70. Keep it plausible, and we won't have problems.
5: Avoid flaming out and raging. Keep it PG-13... Ish.
6: Don't be afraid to kill off characters. It happens quite a bit in Star Wars...
7: Lead your faction to glory or ruin!

Warscore and Flashpoints

Flashpoints are roll generated missions that normally tie into the legends cannon in some way shape or form. They offer bonuses to Warscore, and the victor may get various types of rewards for a successful mission. Listed below are the Flashpoints that are upcoming, and those that have been completed.
The Hunt for the Valley
Kyle Katarn and the dark inquisitor Jerec fought many times over this piece of ground. It is a race to the largest source of infinite power in the glalaxy. -Upcoming; Turn 1
The Dark Force Rising
Out in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, there lies an ancient force. This "Dark Force" is the dreaded 200 plus ship Katana fleet, a slave-rigged fleet of Dreadnought-Class dreadnoughts from the days of the Old Republic. Missing for nearly a century, only a few men know of its location. Even fewer are worth talking to... -Upcoming; Turns 3-5
The Maw Unleashed
In between Kessel and the rest of the galaxy lies the dreaded Maw, a seemingly impossible concentration of black holes thought to be one of the Empire's experiments. The truth is, the Empire knows little. Many theorize that it was built by the dreaded Infinite Empire, but that cannot be confirmed. But one woman knows the truth. Left in control of the dreaded MAW installation by Willhuff Tarkin, an Imperial Admiral is planning a gambit that will lead the galaxy to unify under a single banner- hers. Beware the Sun Crusher! - Upcoming; Turns 5-7

NPC's

The Gaurdians: When jumping into a system that is not under the control of a player, one might encounter a small (or large) NPC faction. This faction will be controlled by the OP or the CO-OP, and will generally be hostile to all comers (although some might pursue a diplomatic solution). What you do about these guys is up to you, but you cannot conquer worlds that have guardians from an NPC faction on the planet. They must either assimilate or die.

The Barbarian Raiders: In the Empire at War version of the Thrawn's Revenge mod, every so often NPC units would raid you positions while you were in the middle of combat. Likewise, the galaxy of Star Wars: Freedom Rising is just as dangerous of a galaxy. This time, the raiders won't hold back. Occasionally, one of your systems might get hit be an NPC raid, at the discretion of the OP (CO-OP's don't control raiders). These raiders will target your systems and loot or destroy your buildings, ships, and materiel. This loot might just wind up in the hands of your enemies, so stay vigilant, and defend your planets from unwanted attacks.

Janik looked out of the glass that over saw the droid factories on Muunilinst. The factories were busy with producing Super Battle Droids, one of the many wonders of the Separatists Janik thought. He knew that he would have to rebuild the entire military from the ground up, but as he was getting report of construction of a variety of units, meant for both offensive and defensive purposes, a grin grew on his face.

He knew his goal of rebuilding the Confederacy of Independent Systems coming closer and closer into his grasp but he knew he would need allies to build his empire. After evaluating the current factions Janik's attention was caught by the faction known as the Zann Consortium, it was a glorified pirate gang but it had a few interesting holding including Hypori, which was a location with large amounts of Droid Factories during the Clone Wars. Janik quickly composed a message that requested a meeting between him and Zann over a potential alliance. While he knew that some of his supporters would disprove, he decided to remind them of their military shortage.

Tyber Zann was over seeking his new crime syndicate most was going well, with his planets secured for now he moved to expand his markers, the planets Hypion, naboo, and Kessle where all watched closely by the warlord, now was the time to strike. "Order the ships to attack Hypion, and Kessle, it will draw attention away when we strike naboo in the coming months. In the meantime we have dispatched our Venatorclass class star destroyer to Hypion to put it under our control it will be enough to work on its own, with it we also sent 1 super battle droid division an artillery unit, and three battle droid divisions, next we have Kessle we are going at it with out assult lands and bombers, wit them we have also sent 2 divisions of battle droids and two divisions of super battle droids that should be more then enough to get us what we need..."

It was just then that Zann recived the message from a strange new power, "an invitation how interesting...I guess I'll be taking that last unit of droids as a body guard. Send them a message and let them know I'll be more then happy to attend, I just need a location and we will be on our way. I hope I'll find the fund soon to finish some better projects gets....I hate having to travel unprofessionally." He sighed and end over the last of his notes. Once he took Kessle and Hypion he could seek to expand elsewhere, if he got the support of this new faction as well things could shift drastically in his favor.

Star Destroyer Chimera

It was the dawn of a new era. The previous leaders of the Empire had proven weak, incompetent. They stood no chance against the rebels who, despite their disorganization and lack of training, had plenty of motivation and morale. Fools like Isard believed that such a foe stood no chance against the might of the Empire. Captain Pellaeon knew better than that. He had been there. He had look out from the bridge of this same ship out toward the Emperor's Second Death Star as it was torn apart by a motley group of rabble that should not have been allowed the chance to survive. Then there was the loss of the Executor. It seemed that without the Emperor's leadership, the Empire stood no chance against the rebellion. Coruscant was now under their grip. Still, it made no difference. The Chimera would stand ready.

"Captain Pellaeon! Sir!" came a cry, echoing throughout the bridge tower. Pellaeon held back a frown. Whatever this was, it was interrupting his planning. He gave a nod in reply. "Report." A young tactical officer stood at attention behind him, tense with excitement. "Captain, this is a new report from the Death's Head. They are pleased to report that the Balmorran system is clear, and they are looking forward to meeting up with the combined fleet over Kuat."

Sloppy. The Death's Head was supposed to be here two days ago. The new commander...

"Where is the Admiral?"

"He is on his way."

Thrawn's Hand, Niruaun
Voss Prack scanned the files and relaxed in his large padded chair. He read through seeing the reports of his income and spending and nodded as if agreeing with another person. He saw his income hampered by the trade problems the empire had suffered from for a very long time. He knew he needed to begin increasing his economic power if he was to have any real influence in the interior of the galaxy. He called up his advisers and told them he would meet them in the situation room. Twenty minutes later Prack was standing in front of his advisers, Drak Ibansa was his economic adviser and he tapped a datapad anxiously, Tikaly Menkint was a Durosian and was in charge of special strike teams and was able to reach out and touch foreign governments without leaving Niruaun, lastly was the Chiss female who had adopted the name Kana in charge of the army. Prack retained control of the navy and acted as the leader of the empire while awaiting the return of Thrawn.

Prack nodded to them and awaited their commentary on the situation of the empire. Drak stepped forward and powered on the datapad. It showed Niruaun and Csilla with a structure on either one.

"It has become imperative that the capital and Csilla both have space ports soon. We need the boost to our economy rather badly. I project we could build maximize our economic activity if only we had these trade hubs. Without them we can't afford to grow our military our our ambitions, with them we can start raking in enough credits to begin developing a larger capital fleet, one which we desperately need."

"Make it so, Drak. Anything to say Tikaly?"

Tikaly twitched slightly, he loathed conversation but now found his occupation consisted primarily of it.

"Our forces are the best in the galaxy sir, they have higher KDR's in simulation, but that does not mean we are capable of going to war right now. Especially not with other powerful forces in the Galaxy. So I propose we forge an Alliance...with the Pentastar Alignment. Their economy simply outdoes ours at every turn, they could afford to build large forces and threaten our northern border. However I believe if we approach them they will see the benefit of an alliance with us and between our superior forces and their superior economy we would be in a powerful position."

Prack smiled and nodded to Tikaly.

"Good... I will make it so. You two are dismissed, Kana stay a moment will you. We need to discuss a matter."

After the other two had left he relaxed a bit.

"Kana you are my most trusted adviser, and a good friend... I have an odd question for you. Have you heard of a planet called Bespin?"

The Chiss woman cosked her head at an angle and shook it slightly.

"Ah well never mind that. I have a task for you. This planet resides on the Corellian Trade spine. I wish for you to find who owns this planet and begin talks with them to attempt to get them to join our empire. It is paramount we gain access to the trade spine. We will suffer hard ship without it and and with it we gain a bridge in to the population center of the galaxy."

Kana simply saluted and exited, as was the usual when given an order.

First Attack Fleet near Amrac

Captain Tleth'haozo'urgo the Chiss captain of the Star destroyer Indomitus had been made de-facto commander of the First attack fleet. Having received orders from General Kana he had rallied his fleet for a move toward a planet called Bespin in the Galactic south. It would take some time and it was a decent amount of area to travel, but he was sure that his fleet was prepared to defend itself if need be. He had been ordered not to fire first unless commanded otherwise and was somewhat relived by that. He had seen the last stages of the clone wars as a child, he had only been on Cssila once and had spent the rest of his life in the Galactic center. Having lived the two recent wars one of which he fought in and watched men die in he hoped for a diplomatic resolution with whoever the fleet would meet on Bespin.

Amrac governmental bulletin message

By order of Voss Prack himself the planetary governor of Amrac is to begin construction of a heavy foundry and trading post in orbit around the planet. It is projected to cost no less than 400 credits which will be afforded by the imperial government. This task is to be under taken immediately or your entire official regime will be replaced by more loyal and competent officials.

Encrypted message to Josson Vaskin

Josson read the message, he had been in communication with Imperial higher ups for a few weeks now and had led finally to this message. A job offer. He saw the opportunities of working for the Empire of the Hand and simply couldn't refuse, now he was just waiting to see where they wanted him to go.

Niruan recruitment report

The numbers showed promise, two units of militia had been recruited and to complement them an old super battle droid battalion had been put together from smaller units found throughout the empire. Niruaun's defenses and worth grew every day it seemed.

Turn one income: 727.5 credits- but with war score it comes to:1,091.25
-400 for two space ports one on niruaun and one on Cssil=691.5 credits
-400 for a heavy foundry and trading post on Amrac=291.5
-150 for recruitment of Smuggler Josson Vaskin on Quethold=141.5
-135 for two units of militia and for a unit of super battle droids on Niruaun=6.5remaining

Myrkyr, Wild Karrde

The Wild Karrde had been grounded for a long time. Some engine troubles, according to the few ship-qualified engineers in his organisation present on Myrkyr. He really needed to get some more.

But even grounded, she served as a fine command post for Talon and his network. His office was rather sparse; a few stolen paintings hung along the bare steel walls, adding a bit of colour to the otherwise grey room. The only other bit of colour was the desk, the dark brown of real wood, and the pale blue monitor that sat atop it. His life's work was linked to that computer. He'd sat behind her for years, silently controlling his network, and he was still there, fingers clattering over keys as his eyes darted across the screen between the numerous scrolling boxes of information.

There was power in money; but there was also information. Where the money went meant one thing, the quantity another. Put them together and you could find a third. Combine it with other purchases for a fourth. Keep following it, and it could lead to all sorts of interesting things. There was always a place for blind luck in his game, but he preferred to have all the pieces to hand, and money was a good way to find those pieces.

There was not much money to follow, not now; it was wartime. Money was kept in reserve or well-hidden. But he had other methods. Other sources. HUMINT was still a valuable source, even now. He keyed in a few transactions. He had things to do. Plans to be enacted.

Starting: 252 Credits
Purchases: Smugger (150)
Light Vehicle Factory (100)

Spire of Eternity, Orbital Shipyards, Fondor, The New Hegemony

From the apex of the orbital platform the tall dark-haired man looked down on the surface of Fondor, lost in thought. Within the immense vacuum drydocks the shape of a new Imperial Navy came into view, but it would take time for the ambitions of the cabal of Grand Moffs to realize their ambitions. Jarnassus nodded, his mind made up, then turned to speak to the other two men in attendance in this conference room. The silver haired Admiral Hadrat he had always held in high regard, and the younger straw-haired Admiral Ajaxis likewise. He spoke aloud, intoning his thoughts in carefully measured speech.

"Gentlemen, welcome to Fondor. It is a pity that our beloved Empire has become so fractured, but now we have in our hands an opportunity for real change." Both men nodded, and Hadrat spoke, his words the same voice that had commanded the disastrous retreat from Endor in the face of the destruction of the Second Death Star. "Be that as it is, Grand Admiral, I am skeptical that further fracturing the Empire will serve any purposes aside from those of grasping warlords and the Rebels now naming themselves the 'New Republic'." Jarnassus stepped forward, circling around the table slowly as he considered the logic. "What you speak is true, of course, Gestov. Disunity aids our foes. But where does unity get us? What unity can we still achieve? The Empire has already fallen to pieces, and I see no signs that those pieces can be reassembled. Nor do I necessarily think they should be." Both men looked at the Kuat with curious expressions. These ideas were not ones he had expressed to them yet, nor to the rest of the Grand Moff Council, but they were true nonetheless. "The Empire was flawed. Commanded by the Sith, by the Emperor, for his own purposes. Look at it now- the signs are clear. So anxious were many of our systems and admirals to line their own pockets at the expense of the rest of the galaxy that not ten sectors remain within a single Imperial allegiance." Jarn shook his head, hand rubbing absently at the stubble of a cleanly-shaven chin as the other men considered his words. "The New Order made us strong, but it made us brittle. So we must realize what the issues of that Order were, and reform them. A better order, promoting the rule of law, justice, and the rights of all men."

The two admirals were smiling as his idea took hold of their minds. Ajaxis spoke, young baritone rich in sepulcher tones. "A new system of governance, based on merit instead of the favor of the adherents of a sad religion." Gestov laughed once, a short bark. "A new hegemony, to rule all men for the good of all. We could do it." He stood. "I see your vision Grand Admiral. We shall do it."

High Orbit, Denon, Former Imperial Space

Above the Ecumenopolis of Denon the stars opened, and the Dominion emerged. At the helm stood Admiral Alexei Romatov, and he looked down at the twinkling black and yellow vistas of Denon's night-side with a smile on his face. It was good to return home.

A thousand other systems he had visited, ten thousand other worlds, and lesser men called him blessed. He had seen the teeming jungles of death worlds, archaic moons where the seas bubbled black and the light glowed purple, desert worlds, ice worlds, even worlds with no sky and hidden stars. But none of the untrammeled beauties of the universe called to him like the endless cityscapes and vast vertical towers of Denon. In her million alleyways and byways a man could explore the universe forever and never know the sum of the existence. Now he returned home, and as he transmitted his clearance to the local defenses they took note of his designation.

"Welcome back, Admiral Romatov." crackled through the comms. Denon would work for a higher cause now when she looked starwards, though the negotiations with Moff Jalav would certainly be interesting.

Coruscant

No one had thought that forming a new government after defeating the Empire would be easy, but Leia imagined no one thought it would be this difficult. The primary issue was, of course, the shattered remains of the Empire that had formed into several factions throughout the galaxy. These factions represented a military threat to the young New Republic, but certainly not the only threat. Though the Empire was gone and the New Republic had been formed, not all that many worlds across the galaxy were willing to just jump up and join the new government. They were wise in wanting to see how the New Republic functioned, and if it could even survive the first decade or so.

"We have more then adequate defenses protecting our worlds, Senator. We must look to expanding our forces, and bringing more worlds into the Republic. The remnants of the Empire remain a grave threat, and only through the strength of arms will we be able to preserve the New Republic." The gravelly voice of Admiral Ackbar rumbled across the modest sized meeting room, where Mon Mothma was holding a meeting of the Council, the heads of the various branches of the government and military. Ackbar had retained his position of Supreme Commander, and the Mon Calamari made up the bulk of the New Republic Navy, from crews to ships. The rule of the Empire had changed the Mon Calamari people, and they were now dedicated defenders of the New Republic.

There was a murmur of voices around the room, most in agreement, but some were more against the idea. They believed in sitting behind the impressive defenses of the New Republic and letting the galaxy sort itself out, but that wasn't what the New Republic stood for.

“I agree.” The calm, commanding voice of Mon Mothma spoke, cutting off the chattering. “We did not fight the Empire for so long simply to allow large swaths of the galaxy to remain under its influence. And for that we will indeed need a larger amount of forces, but we also can not ignore the worlds currently caught between us and the Imperials. It is interpretative that we get as many of those worlds to join the New Republic as possible, before the Empire can once again oppress them.”

And with that the issue was settled. Mon Mothma wasn't a dictator or anything like that, but she had plenty of influence in the Senate, along with the other branches of the New Republic, and was in this issue entirely correct. The meeting ended and the councilors and senators broke off into their own little niches as they filed out of the room. Leia got up to go, before she was intercepted by Mon Mothma.

“Leia, I thank you for your continued efforts in getting the New Republic on its feet, and I do hate to ask again, but how is Luke's...training going?” Mon Mothma asked. She, as well as plenty of others, Leia included, had been very much against Darth Vaklaria being allowed to join the New Republic. The Sith had pointedly replied that she wasn't joining the New Republic at all, but was simply working to bring about a new order of Force users. Luke had, eventually, accepted the Darth's offer of additional training, and help in forming the Knights of the Republic.

“He's exhautsed, though he tries to hide it. Darth Vaklaria is apparently a merciless task-master. Though I can tell his skills are improving quickly. And before you ask, I am fully confident that Luke is not in anyway being steered towards the dark side. Vaklaria may be a full fledged Darth, and Palpatines' former apprentice, but I think she is honest in her desire for a new order to be formed.” Leia explained.

Mon Mothma just frowned slightly and nodded. “I suppose we will have to wait and see. Though any force user is an asset in these times, I suppose.”

---Deaths Hand, training room---

A snapping hiss filled the room as the two light-sabers clashed, red against green. Luke Skywalker hissed in surprise, having barely had time to bring up his own saber to block. A rapid series of attacks soon followed, Luke managing to parry them all, though some were quite close.

“You're getting sloppy, Skywalker. If this were a serious fight, I'd have cut you into pieces by now.” The voice of Darth Vaklaria echoed in the dimly lit room. It was hostile, and perhaps even savage, but it was also the voice of an instructor, someone who wanted him to be better then he was.

“You know, I did best Vader...” He replied, taking a moment take a breath and collect his thoughts. His thoughts were interrupted by a bitter laugh however.

“Vader was toying with you. If he had wanted you dead instead of turning you to the dark side, you would have been.” Vaklaria said. Luke sensed the use of the force as Vaklaria propelled herself forward at amazing speed, saber at the ready. Luke spun on his heel and blocked the attack. He would have congratulated himself, but he soon felt weightless, his prespective changing before his back slammed onto the ground, the glow of a red light-saber in his face before he could even move. Vaklaria had kicked his legs out from under him.

She stood over him in her dark cloak and mask, before shutting off her saber, Luke following suit. The duel was over, and he had lost. She didn't help him up.

“You're a Jedi, Skywalker. When you go into a fight you had better have a clear mind and focus. Don't fall into verbal sparing, and never expect an enemy to play fair. The problems of the New Republic are not your problems when you enter a fight. Your enemy and your own survival are your problems.”

Luke nodded and took a breath, Vaklaria looking at him from behind her mask, like the predator she was. “You need a break. Take a few days to get rested.” She said and turned, walking toward the door that lead to one of the many halls of this massive ship. Luke followed after her.

“I would argue that I'm fine, but I suppose you would know better. I can't imagine training under Darth Sidious was...a pleasant experience.” He said calmly. He could feel Vaklaria grin.

“Most of the wounds I have received in my life were from the hands of my former master. He was harsh, cruel, brutal. But he did care, in his own way. He wanted a perfect apprentice, someone to replace Vader. So he needed them to be better, superior. I just happened to be the one who lived. This ship was my reward. And had things gone differently at Endor I most certainly would have already fought Vader.” She explained as they passed down the hall, passing men and women in Imperial uniforms, even some stormtroopers. It was a surreal experience that Luke relived almost every day.

“But on to more pressing matters. We need to find a location to start this academy for the Knights of the Republic. I think it would be wise to begin somewhere that is not Coruscant. To much interference.” Vaklaria said as they walked onto the bridge. Luke nodded and followed behind, reminding himself how crazy this whole thing was.
"We've lost control! Now for the love of Earth...and the Sovereign Colonies, we've got to do what's right."

(In reply to G-Tech)
Denon; Moff Jalav; (Jalav's Dominion, NPC)

In the command bunker that Moff Jalav called "Zenith", the world stood still. The commander of the Strike Cruiser "Bella Nobella", Jarinnus Ponetti, had made first contact with a Super-Class Super Star Destroyer, which transmitted as the Dominion. He also reported that Admiral Romatov was reportedly on board, as his clearance codes were transmitted to the fleet. The only question on Jalav's mind, however, was how Romatov ended up at the helm of such an impressive ship. The Super-Class were interdictors, not just mere mile-long weapons platforms. There were only a few in existence, and Jalav had seen none of them in person. Until now.

"Open a communications channel with that ship. I want to verify this discovery myself."

A few moments later, the hailing channel was open, and Jalav spoke.

"Admiral Romatov, I hadn't heard that you were to be returning to us. It appears you have lost your sense of protocol."

(Agression roll [d6]: 3; Jalav is suspicious, but is willing to entertain a diplomatic discussion, for a time...)

Zann had to cancel a few of his plans and recalled his fleet from Hypion it could wait, instead he had picked up his troops and headed for Ord Mantel instead. If he could secure the help of Janik and his little enterprise then the more business he could likely get into. The consortium needed money and they had it. This court if it went right turn into a very valuable alliance. Usually Zann hated alliances but for the sake of the consortium he had little choice other then to hear about this. "I want us over ord mantell soon as possible...if this is good I hope we can all make a few credits. The forces on the Kessle run should be there soon to report let's hope they finish there mission objective."

Zann and his forces where soon in hyperspace headed for Ord mantel this place hopefully would solve the issues that the Zann consortium where having with credits if not, there better be a damn good reason why they where here.

Dathomir
Bjirnhelm, Capital city

A lonely figure walked down the street. It was foggy and late in the night so there was almost no one down in the streets. The person looked behind itself and watched his surroundings, as if he feared to be watched or followed, but in the fog he couldn`t see too much. After 2 more minutes of walking the person finally reached a building, that looked like a warehouse. The Person scanned the street one last time before he typed in the code for the door and entered the building.

Right after the door closed, life came back to the street. Out of other buildings and narrow alleys soldiers walked onto the street. They were very cautious and tried to make about no noise. Within a minute the building had been surrounded and all of it`s entrances were heavily guarded. An officer then radioed an specific signal and soon after, a TIE Crawler came driving down the street. Before the warehouse it stopped, turned around to face the warehouse and then began firing. The TIE Crawler`s cannons turned the Warehouse`s front wall into nothing but rubble. When the walls were broken down, the TIE Crawler slowly advanced into the building with the soldiers quickly storming in.

Inside they found large stacks of metal crates and containers and a small group of civilians ducking behind some cover. When the TIE Crawler stoppe shooting and moved in, they began to shoot back at the storming Soldiers. Those were caught by surprise and lost quite a few men before they managed to find some good cover to safely return fire from. The TIE Crawler also began firing again and it`s projectiles were tearing the rebels and their cover apart. However, those didn`t want to give up. Untill one of the containers behind the rebels was hit and penetrated.

A great explosion ensued the back of the ware house where the rebels had been holding their position. The Exiled Empire`s forces used this opportunity to storm the rebel`s defensive lines and kill everyone still resisting capture. Most however, were unable to resist. The explosion had killed many of the rebels and crippled most of the rest. The crippled rebels were quickly interrogated and then shot. The others who could still walk were sent to one of the Infamous Concentration Camps in the planets more isolated locations.

Bridge of the Dominion, High Orbit, Denon

As the blue image of the holovid flickered and coalesced, Admiral Romatov nodded and flashed a crisp salute to the figure that appeared before him. Somewhat aged, but still as sharp as a tack, Jalav was not a man to be trifled with. The Moff spoke, then the Admiral replied. "I'm afraid the matter I have arrived in this system to discuss with you precluded punctilious protocol, sir." He gestured to the bridge about him. "As you can see, the Dominion isn't exactly the most covert of assets, so my visit here had to of necessity be unannounced to prevent the Rebels from learning of our fleet movement." He paused a moment for the Moff to nod grudgingly, then continued. "As to the purpose of my errand, I bring an offer to you, from the lips of Grand Admiral Kuat of Oversector Three." The Admiral pulled up a dataslate, and began to read. "The Grand Admiral extends his greetings to you as well, and wishes me to bring a proposition to your attention that we believe will be mutually advantageous. With the recent breakdown of Imperial authority in this region, and the fracture of the Imperial Navy into many different warlordistic commands, he believes presenting a united front to the many threats to order and stability is wisest. To this end the Grand Admiral and the Moffs of the Yag'Dhul, Chardaan, and Thyferra Sectors have formed in a collective military and economic alliance, currently titled the New Hegemony. He would offer you a seat upon the Grand Council of Hegemons, and your commanders places in the Moff Assembly, to join your strength to our strength in these turbulent times." Romatov's deep emerald eyes flickered up again to the holovid, and then he added a personal comment. "My opinion may not be of much weight since my absence, Jalav, but I would ill see Denon seized by force by one of the many factions that have arisen here in the Inner Rim. What do you think of the Grand Admiral's proposal?"

Dosha

Fires burned on the Transdoshan Homemoon. Many ships started to land on their home and at the Golan II that allowed their ever growing slave trade to grow throughout their League. Carved out of the Hutts worlds and their navy of slavers was growing. The center of this was the legendary Transdoshan slaver and warrior, Vonish the Herald. He was silent throughout all the meetings, never smiling or frowning to what the news was. Among the recent news was that the Hutts had become crippled when their very homeworld was captured by Typer Zann. He believed that this was a competitor to the Eastern side of the galaxy.

This made Vonish gave a real thought to his options in order to make to direct his forces to check the Consortium for he feels that if the League doesn't match them then they will loose good places for their spices and the making of credits. His soldiers were a plenty, slavers who were looking for for credits and fame while slaves who look to fight for their freedom. However, he can't keep them alive it meant that they will be thrown against the grinder. So Vonish issued a ceasefire between the League and the Hutt Cartel for now as the Consortium was being perceived as a threat that would be the doom of the League if they were left unchecked.

Vonish sent the message to what's left of the Hutt Cartel to issue a ceasefire while he left for Da Soocha V to talk to the Ixll.

Da Soocha V

The Hutts had made a ceasefire work, which was good in order to bringing the League in moving in on the Zann in order to make the check work. News was that the Consortium's armies were making moves on Kessel. This was a bad thing since their claim of the spice mines of Yelsia from the Hutts as a means of expanding their slave trade. Vonish believed that he will need more military and start to consolidate power which is one of the reasons he came to the Ixll.

Flying in his airspeeder transport throughout the high treetops of the moon where the Ixll make their home, he was greeted by the winged creatures who were playing games in the sky around their homes and where the Transdoshan walked where it had just wood, very sturdy wood. It reminded Vonish of the Wookie homeworld and it made even him find a sense of peace. This was one of the reasons why he didn't want a slaver touch the place.

He walked into the center of the main village to where he step here nearly two years ago when he started his expansion into Hutt Space and noticed the academy was still standing but was made of Ixll architecture but many of their kind had been giving technology that was suited for the Clone Wars but it was something of a standard for the League as the Transdoshans had gathered a standard of CIS technology but they started to make different technology to get up to galactic standard.

" Well, the Taskmaster has come to grace us." A Ixll came with their language but Vonish had learned the language in order to make peace though he made more hisses than squeaks but the Ixll that came to him was trained in Dosh but it was more high-pitched than anything. " Ahh King Rhuzis, forgive me for stepping into your moon without giving you forward knowledge." The King merely laughed at the forgiveness of the Transdoshan," there was no need for forgiveness Taskmaster. Though I must say, it is strange for someone who is known as the most dangerous and ruthless of his own kind only to be so passive in front of those that he favors."

This made Vonish give a low growl for it was true, even with his training and adventures in Wild Space had made him a crude warrior and slaver but he knew deep inside that this is what he is but sometimes there was his conscious, an echo of his old self that never wanted to be like this, that regrets going into Wild Space. " It is strange yes, some part of me wishes that this wasn't my legacy but I will walk this path with some dark pride in my heart."

They started to walk into the academy where the League flag was hanging with the King's own banner and they walked into their own version of a canteen and a lot of Ixll had taken a liking to drinking and eating like normal galactic citizens but gambling was illegal and Vonish had agreed to that. He sat down with the King to where they had two bottles of Telosian ale as they spoke. " So, you would like some of my kin as your specialists?" Vonish just nodded as the King continued," I see, well this could be arranged post haste. However, we are in need of some investments from the League in order to build our people since the roost of the other Kingdoms are getting larger. Also, there are other immigrants that have been coming here, such as the race called the Evocaii."

Vonish lift an eye muscle when he heard the Evocaii were still around despite them being forced to live in the lowest levels of Nar Shaddaa and many galactic creatures believed they died, especially the Hutts. " The idea of investing in the production of your moon is easy. However, its interesting to see the Evocaii being able to escape their holes. But about the expansion of more homes, the League will do this since it will be more of a treasure in of itself to train the Flocks."

After he finish drinking he started to walk out with Rhuzis as his intercom came on and one of his slaver lieutenants who showed up on a hologram." Report" the lieutenant continued," Boss, we have assembled the forces to attack Kessel. We will be sending the stealth transports through the Kessel Run. We should be able to overtake the Consortium forces and be able to control the Kessel Run for our spice trade. Should I start sending your allocation for military and economic production?"

Vonish just nodded and the data was being sent to the slaves throughout the League to improve their economy and their military in order grow the League in the Underworld.

Kashyyk

The League had started to worry about the Wookies for even those they have been in years after Vonish conquered the Wookie homeworld when the Transdoshans were united mostly under his rule. He respected the Wookies for their strength for he knew that they killed many Transdoshans during the invasion despite the fear that Vonish gathered in the Wookie culture. Vonish allocation came to the ground fortification of the forest planet for he always feared the Wookies would rebel. Vonish wanted to make sure that the Golan II was the last thing that he wanted to do against the Wookies.

Dosha

The military capital of the League was booming. Industry and recruitment was being needed in order to consolidate power across the League. This was needed that slave revolts maybe more apparent across their controlled systems.
Income: 1,050( 840 +25% from Slave Trade)

Da Sooncha V: Planetary Fuel Depot, 2 Residential Centers, 1 Ixll Specialist Flock( Advance Armor, Stealth training, Sniper Teams)
Kashyyk: Lvl 1 Ground Fortifications, Lvl 2 Ground Fortifications , Lvl 3 Ground Fortifications, 2 frigates( one with fleet carrier, one with missile/torpedo role
Dosha: 5 Battle Droid Battalions with Ewar and Heavy Weapons

Income: 1150 credits per turn

Jalav frowned. He had a lot to lose here. All of his personal stock... Then again, Romatov brought a Super-Class. Javal knew that Romatov could, and would seize his world by force. All that would do is cost the lives of himself and his army... Javal knew what he had to do. The officers around him knew it too, and they took off their garrison caps in tribute. "I believe we have a deal." the Moff said.

It took only a few short keystrokes to inform his men. Denon was now under the control of Grand Admiral Kuat of Oversector Three.

May the force ruin his life forever.

(Roll 11 [d20]; Denon is now under your control.)

Grand Admiral Mitt'hraw'nuruodo
En route to Chimera

The grand admiral took a very long, heavy, and almost solemn breath of air. His Lambda-Class shuttle was modified for Kuati comfort, and carried some of the finest artwork in the galaxy alongside his personal command consoles. He exhaled, thinking on the events of the past few years. It had been a very long time since he had last been to Kuat, and it was a shame he was being forced to leave so soon. However, the Death's Head had finally made the rendezvous over the planet, and duty would call him away once more. He keyed up a computer display in front of him, and a wealth of information was at his fingertips. For now, he merely placed an order for two Interdictor-Class Star Destroyers. The Kuati managers he spoke to felt confident that his new plan would work, and that they could supply him with all the ships he would need.

However, he had only a few Stormtrooper units at his disposal. As effective as they were, he needed more troops. Thankfully, Cardia was ready for the task. On Cardia, the newest batch of Imperial Army troops were being created (regular infantry).

He sent a message to Niles Ferrier, an aspiring smuggler and ship thief he had managed to put under his employ. He directed Niles to Fondor, to engage in a intelligence and credit gathering mission there. Niles "borrowed" a ride on a civilian shuttle service, and set out.

So far, everything was proceeding according to plan.
1612.5 credits
ISD-049; Interdictor-Class Star Destroyer (SD w/ Interdictor) (Made in Kuat, 5 turns to complete) -600 credits
ISD-045; Interdictor-Class Star Destroyer (SD w/ Interdictor) (Made in Kuat, 5 turns to complete) -600 credits

45th Imperial Army Division (Infantry with Heavy Weapons and Snipers) 4 turns -150 credits
47th Imperial Army Division (Infantry with Heavy Weapons and Flamethrowers) 4 turns -150 credits
___________
112.5 credits

Wild Karrde, Myrkyr

Karrde blinked as his monitor buzzed, another window opening on top of the hundreds of others in the bottom left corner, displaying a simple message in green text.

_Target E is present at Kuat. Requesting orders?_

The green meant it was from Agent 2, who was currently on Kuat. He didn't know his agents actual names, as that could easily implicate them if the comms were intercepted. His encryption and disguising protocols were top of the line, but better safe than sorry.

_Remain on station. Ensure Target E remains located._

He closed that window, and switched to another. Agent 3, on Fondor. He had a fourth agent being searched for, who would take over Agent 3's former station.

_Redeploy to Muunilinst._

That should let him make inroads into the Alignment. Once he'd found a candidate to take over Agent 3's position, he'd have knowledge over most of the contenders for dominance of the Galaxy, or the overt ones at the very least.

Coruscant, New Republic Core Worlds Fleet

The New Republic fleet was small, but the defenses of the worlds in the New Republic more them made up for it. After the Inner Council meeting Admiral Ackbar had returned to New Republic High Command and issued up orders. A task force of three MC30c class Frigates under the command of Admiral Fedjilow, a Twi'lek veteran, would make it's way to the nearby world of Pantolomin, a neutral world in the Core. Admiral Fedjilow was given the authority to act as a representative of the New Republic and to open negotiations for the planet to join the New Republic. The small force was quickly assembled, and with no fanfare, the force jumped to the Panto system. Pantolomin was a renowned vacation world, and quite beautiful. The task force maintained a diplomatic distance from the planet and then proceeded to hail the planets authorities.

"Government of Pantolomin, this is Admiral Fedjilow of the New Republic. On behalf of the Senate I wish to speak to you of the possibility of your peoples joining with us in a new era for the galaxy."
"We've lost control! Now for the love of Earth...and the Sovereign Colonies, we've got to do what's right."

Pantolomin

The negotiations went amazingly well. It seems the planets government had simply been waiting for a representative to come and officially invite them to the planet. Admiral Fedjilow's fleet remained in orbit above the planet and already new construction was being planned for the world.

Deaths Hand, in orbit around Coruscant

Darth Vaklaria looked between the two New Republic agents, a brow raised in question. She looked to Luke who gave a nod.

"The Valley of the Jedi, hm? This could be just the break we've been looking for, Skywalker. We should leave at once." She said, standing up.

The agents looked a little taken aback. They had since they had come aboard really. Kyle Katarn frowned. "The Black Bantha Nebula is behind Imperial lines. Not to mention we may not be the only ones going for it. We would have to get there fast, and if someone else comes along with a larger force..." He trailed off his sentence.

Vaklaria just grinned. "Then my ship, that being the one we are sitting on right now, will follow after us with other New Republic forces. This is not something we can simply pass up, or let someone else beat us to it. Skywalker, get your things. We leave at once." The Darth said, and she would hear no argument. Less then an hour later the four were standing in one of the hangers of the Deaths Hand, the ship Raven's Claw awaiting. Vaklaria was giving the commander of the Deaths Hand some instructions.

"Captain Talsain, Skywalker has already briefed the New Republic. You are to await the task force and follow after us. But if they try to delay you, leave without them. And leave no later then half a day after us." Vaklaria ordered. The human captain saluted. The Deaths Hand still had most of it starfighter compliment, and a divisions worth of Stormtroopers, so it could carry out a mission on its own, though Vaklaria didn't want to risk it going out on it's own. Even a ship like a Super Star Destroyer needed support. With her orders given the small group loaded aboard the Raven's Claw to begin the long trek to the Black Bantha Nebula.
"We've lost control! Now for the love of Earth...and the Sovereign Colonies, we've got to do what's right."

Wild Karrde, Myrkyr

It had been... Well, interesting to see Booster again. Karrde and him had a friendly rivalry, ever since he picked apart Booster's smuggling ring all those years ago. The funding from the Venture would be greatly appreciated.

But Karrde had greater issues, such as the numerous text boxes on his screen.

The first, in red, was from Agent 1. Coruscant.

_Death's Hand departing. Destination unknown._ Not paticularly useful, but good to know nonetheless.

The second in green. Agent 2. _Successful siphon. Credits being transferred shortly. Had to use some as a distraction._ Not bad. Not bad at all.

Then boring white. Agent 3, recently dispatched to Muunilinst. _Limited siphon. Compromised. Request new station?_ Well, at least he could escape. Karrde furiously typed back a response.

_Transfer to Fondor. Agent 4 will take your place._

And finally blue. Agent 4

_On station. Taken over Agent 3's assets. Orders?_

_Transfer to Muunilinst. Agent 3 will take your place._

Zenith Command Bunker, Denon, The New Hegemony

Admiral Zola sat, enjoying the fine Colovian brandy Javal had snuck out of his stocks. The Moff seemed somewhat resigned to being part of the Hegemony, but he was slowly warming to the idea as Zola explained the military and economic benefits. He would still be allowed to administrate his personal fief and the sector as he saw fit, within reason, despite the rebellion on the part of some of his soldiers foolishly attacking the Dominion despite the negotiations. Such unrealistic imbeciles were not men that would have been included in the new Hegemonic Navy, but sadly such odds and sods had were still in many Imperial fleets. Time, discipline, and ample infusions of cash would turn the men of Denon and the new recruits into true fighting units. Javal rose, proposing a toast to the new allegiance, and his commanders and captained toasted with him. Most seemed happy to be part of a real organization again, instead of just bully-boys on the paylist of whatever commander had been in control of the system when Palpatine fell.

High Orbit, New Cov, Expansion Region

High above New Cov the Dominion and her escorts dropped out of hyperspace, the massive bulk obscuring the stars. This backwater world was populated by humans, and that was a mark in its favor, but it had never really been part of the Empire. In these turbulent times though, an offer of protection and sanction had its own allure, and the Admiral hailed the few ships that patrolled this world with an offer of induction into the arms of the New Hegemony and all the economic liberalization and opportunities that came with it. Rumor had it that back in the Hegemony smugglers under the employ of the Hegemon Council were making connections with backroom dealers, and connecting themselves to the criminal underworld. For in order to live in the light, men had to walk at times in the shadow. Romatov cared little about all that, preferring to fight his foes face to face. But some men flourished in such areas.

Finances: 200 Credits + 8135 new Credits
50 Credits spent to repair the SSD
2270 Credits for new buildings on New Cov (assuming taken, detailed in Archives)
700 Credits for new buildings on YagDhul (Archives)
250 Credits for Barracks on all planets
300 Credits for Ion Cannons on Fondor
350 Credits for Tier II Sensors on Fondor
700 Credits for 2 Light Cruisers on Fondor
400 Credits for 4 Industrial Complexes on Chardaan
900 Credits for Buildings on Thyferra (Archives)
300 Credits for two Smugglers
1600 Credits for 1 Star Destroyer and 1 SSD at YagDhul
250 Credits for 5 Bomber Wings at Chardaan
375 Credits for 5 Interceptor Wings at Chardaan
End: 90 Credits

Ziost, a long forgotten world....
Years ago

The tomb was cold and it's air had a chill to it. Silri, a powerful Nightsister and champion of Dathomir, felt a coldness in her lungs with every breath she took. Walking through the ancient tomb, thundered awake, each one revealing a group of soldiers held in carbonite-ready to be awoken. The tomb was becoming warmer with every light and Silri could feel slight movements coming from the carbonited Sith. Smiling, cheek to cheek, Silri approached the golden statue of a robed Sith warrior holding a lightsaber. Admiring the craftsmanship, Silri read the plague.

The hum of a lightsaber rang in her ears, and Silri quickly turned, blocking a red saber with her wipe. A figure, dressed in black robes, stood there, saber in left hand.

"Who are you?" The figure asked in a deep accent, unfazed. Silri lowered her wipe and cockily smiled.

"I am Silri, your new master" She said in a arrogant tone. Her smile soon turned into panic and all noise from her throat a horrible choke as her feet lifted off the ground.

The figure, left hand raised and force choking Silri let out a laugh as he walked slowly towards the struggling Silri until his hand was only a few feet from her throat.

"No, Acolyte, your are not the master..." The figure put down his hood with his right hand, showing his dark red skin and yellow eyes.

"...you are the apprentice." He said with a smile. Silri retort was a illegible croak, before losing consciousness. Darud smirked, before letting Silri limp body fall to the floor. With the click of his heel, he turned and walked away.

Ziost
Present Day

Darud smiled at the progress that had been made. Years ago, the once great warships of the Sith were derelict hulks, now, with years of hard work, they were once again the mighty warships he had once known. Now, Darud waited to take back the Sith Empire and once again establish the Sith as supreme. But, things had changed greatly since his slumber and Darud never dared to go forward without knowledge.

That is were his new apprentice came in-Silri, a Nightsister from Dathomir, apparently a offshoot of the Witches of Dathomir. Silri was from this time and had a ship that would not arouse suspicion-A TZ-15 shuttle. The girl had told Darud of the recent happenings-From the fall of the Old Republic and formation of the Galactic Empire, to a Jedi Knight known as Luke Skywalker defeating the Empire and establishing a New Republic. This Skywalker, a human from Tatooine, was a great interest of Darud and he wanted to know more about him.

So, Silri, along with two Commandos-Lauki and Maluki, would venture into Republic space and find information on his Skywalker. Silri told of some crime lord she had betrayed. but Darud was not concerned of some sociopath.

For in time, every person in the galaxy would known that the Sith Empire, the scourge of the galaxy, was back and hungry for conquest.

Silri and two Commandos will take the her SZ-15 into Republic space and try to find information about Luke Skywalker. They will also take several good (worth a few thousand credits) with them to sell.
